I love the Pemmican bars - so delicious and of course nutritious. Perfect if you have to miss a meal or an addition to a light meal! Looks like a Mars bar but so much better for you 😉

I've always craved savoury snacks rather than sweet, and crunch is always something that I missed terribly on low carb. These salted Chicken Crisps are fabulous! VERY crunchy and nibbly, just the right amount of salt, great protein but low in fat (which I can get elsewhere). I'm not low carbing any more, but this is a savoury snack that fulfils the crunch need AND it's long term shelf stable, doesn't need to be fridged, helps me get the protein in while being less calorific than most other snacks, and is very filling. I HATE chicken breast. But I love these crisps. Holy grail.

All of the pemmican bars had a pleasantly smooth texture, not grainy, gritty, or waxy as I had expected. As someone on a strict zero-carb carnivore diet, I assumed I would dislike the honey and the cranberry version of the original bar, but they actually turned out to be my favourites and well worth indulging in a few carbs for!

The chicken chips were a little too salty, strongly flavoured, and hard for my personal taste, though I feel this is more a matter of preference than a reflection of the quality of the crisps themselves.

If my budget allowed, I would be ordering the pemmican bars all the time; however, sadly they will have to remain an occasional treat for me, despite being so delicious and nutritious.

Love my carnivore crisps

I took the free sample of the chicken crisps and enjoyed them so much that I bought the large (£250) crisp bundle … I got them on special offer for £160 and absolutely love them.

But I have to be honest, I couldn’t justify spending £250 for the package.

I’ll keep my eyes on the prices and definitely order again when there’s a sale on.

This is another delicious snack amongst the various new high protein keto type snacks that are becoming very popular. The chicken is very crispy, not thin like a potato crisp but in small pieces. The flavour is very nice - I’ve had the plain and the bbq. I definitely recommend you give it a try for yourself!

I really liked this product, the plain flavour more than the BBQ one. Very handy to keep on you for a snack that’s satisfying and healthy. Whilst I completely understand that the quality ingredients and the natural process of making these chicken crisps on a small scale is expensive, unfortunately I can’t afford to buy them on a regular basis. Hopefully the company will grow and be able to bring the price down in the future.

I really enjoyed the bbq chicken crisps (have yet to try the seasalt) because they're excellent. Crunchy as hell and they take forever to eat (in a good way) plus you get a decent amount in the bag, none of this empty air nonsense. I would say it's a bit pricey for my budget but i'll be keeping an eye on this company for sure. The chicken crisps are also a REALLY good option if you want low-cal, high protein; prob the best protein snack option i've found so far.

I took advantage of the free sample offer. I ordered it on the 17th Sept and it arrived on the 19th, so a very good start.

The Pemmican Project go out of their way to advise customers that Pemmican is an acquired taste due to its high fat content. I have never tried Pemmican before and it's very different to products like Beef Jerky or biltong. I'm not even going to try to describe what they're like, but if you're on a high fat diet then there's a chance you will acquire a taste for it. I doubt that you'll initially love it, but you won't hate it.

The Carnivore Crisps were very interesting. Basically dried pieces of chicken meat. I actually enjoyed these on the whole.

I'm going to review each product as follows based on the sample I received.

Pemmican original - Bit bland, but I think I could begin to enjoy it in time. 6/10 with a potential for 7-8/10 given time.

Pemmican Berry - The berries add a lot. 8/10.

Pemmican Honey - Nicer than original, but the honey doesn't add a lot. 7/10.

Carnivore Crisps Salted - I could've eaten a bigger pack of these. Not too salty 8/10.

Carnivore Crisps Sweet BBQ - My least favourite item as they were too salty and not sweet or BBQ. 4/10.

Overall I think the company is deserving of 5 stars on Trustpilot as they've stuck their necks out in providing free sample packs to potential customers. My only complaint is the price. The Pemmican bars are £8 each, but I appreciate that startup costs can be steep. Hopefully they sell enough to recoup their costs and can offer some additional savings.

I absolutely love their crisps. Out of this world, so good for snacking on and so healthy also. I just ordered another 3, 150gram bags as they always do fantastic deals. Best value and product about. Thank you Rasmus. Love them.

These products are brilliant!
Not many snacks around that you can bring with you when you are on the go that are as healthy and nourishing so I am very pleased to have found this brand.
I really liked the chicken crisps, tasted not too far away from crisps in my opinion (be realistic here it is dried meat obviously, but super tasty and crispy) and you feel kind of full after it which is lovely.
The bars were not quite for my liking as I had suspected, my husband liked them. However I got them for the ease of bringing a healthy, calorific and protein rich snack, which they are perfect for. I am certain the flavour will grow on me.
Package arrived quickly and I am very pleased with my order.
