Personalised & Best
Been a member for 4 months and never looked back. Originally started there to lose weight and it has come off not as fast as when I was dieting but a steady pace. Coupled that with muscle mass increase as well.
Programmes are set every 6 weeks and can be tweaked to support your own goals and any injuries/ailments you may have. Classes are great too, HIIT & Ski-erg are personal faves.
Coaches are friendly and push you towards your goals including nutritional advice and support.
Facilities are great too

I have never written a review on this platform before, but I am so happy with my time with Personal Best that I decided I wanted to let others know.
I joined Personal Best in January 2024 on the 6-week trial with a view to kickstart getting fitter and losing weight. Before the end of that trial, I knew I was going to carry on being a member! Now my whole family is part of the gym!
Mikey and the team are all very passionate about their jobs as our coaches. They are always encouraging us and are very knowledgeable. I see this enthusiasm rub off on the members, which creates a great environment to work out in. I was always quite nervous going to the local council gym, as I felt I wasn’t doing things properly or sometimes intimidated by the much fitter people around. I used to really have to drag myself along to the gym. At Personal Best, however, it’s the opposite—I look forward to my training sessions and attend many of the various classes on offer each week. The community is superb, and I have made new friends.
The classes are filled with energy and good vibes, and usually a laugh or two! During workouts everyone respects the fact we all have different ranges of motion, or at different stages in our fitness journeys, so I have no fear asking for help if I cannot do something or its too hard. The great coaches will work with me to find another way to do it or similar.
I cannot believe how much my fitness has improved since joining. I am very happy with how things are turning out. I have lost weight and gained strength, and the biggest surprise is discovering how much I enjoy challenging myself to break personal bests or try new things.
I certainly have no plans to go anywhere else and look forward to continuing my fitness journey with this great team and community! If you are like I was and unsure of what you are doing at the gym, or anxious about going, I thoroughly recommend giving Mikey a call. The gym also has an open day coming up, so you can come down and see what it’s all about. I cannot recommend Personal Best enough—it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!

A Real Gym Family
Been a member for almost 2 years and have to say it’s changed my life. I had been through a massive weight loss journey and with the support of PB my love for fitness grow too! Fantastic gym with like minded people, a great mix of pushing and encouraging you to meet your exercise potential with a lot of fun and nonsense. Anyone looking to extend their fitness and social group should definitely give it a go!
Best gym ever
Personal Best is exactly what it says, the best gym ever.
I’ve been a member for 2 years now, joined to lose some weight as I had ballooned to over 126kg. Have tried other gyms but never stuck it out. PB changed that and I’m now sitting at 92kg and a complete gym lover, stronger and fitter than ever.
The coaches are so knowledgable and tailer your programme to suit your ability. Nutritional advice also on point and keeps you accountable. Such an enjoyable place to train where all the members, help, encourage and support each other every step of the way. With a variety of small group PT’s and different classes there is something for everyone.
I honestly cannot recommend PB enough. It’s just THE place to be.

If 10 stars were possible I would have given it 10 - the most supportive , professional and encouraging team I have ever met !
I’ve tried to get fit or back to it for over 12 years and tried a lot of places a lot of PTs and these are the only guys that have managed to kick my arse and keep me motivated at the same time .
Whilst they have kicked my arse they have lifted me along the way .

The best gym around
I’ve been a member of PB for almost 3 1/2 years. It’s honesty amazing! Not just a gym, a proper community, where not only do the trainers encourage and support, so does all all the ktmtets support each other. It’s such a special place.
I train 5 days a week, mixing 3 PT’s a week and classes and I always look forward to every session.
The trainers are all amazing, such lovely people and the gym has their own fully qualified dietitian to help with nutrition.
I can’t recommend it enough
First class gym
I initially joined Personal Best on their 4 week trial and loved it so much it was an easy decision for me to commit to becoming a member. Everyone was so welcoming and the coaches are second to none in their care and attention to you and your individual needs. The PB community is amazing and welcome you in as a newbie with open arms.
There’s so much variety in the classes and lots of different times to suit all your needs which was important for me. The weekly check ins offering support and keeping you accountable are great and for me I definitely need to be kept accountable.
There’s lots of fun, laughs, support and motivation at Team PB and I’m so glad I took the step to get in touch and become a member. I genuinely look forward to going to the gym and pushing myself to become the best version of me.
100% highly recommended. If you are thinking of joining, do it…you won’t regret it.
Excellent gym
Excellent gym , I have never joined a gym previously and due to existing injuries wasn't sure if I would be able to complete exercises however with the help and support of the coaches during my 4 week trial I decided to join as a member and stay on after the trial . It is one of the best decisions I have made to ensure I stay healthy and fit. Couldn't thank all the coaches enough for all their support and motivation

Would highly recommend Personal Best, I joined on a 4 week trial and haven't looked back, I have loved every second, joining as permanent member . Coaches are extremely knowledgeable, approachable and supportive, adaptable to all requirements and have a great way of challenging and motivating everyone. Great , friendly atmosphere in the gym during sessions. I have never felt so motivated and energised. You won't regret signing up!!!
Personal best is the best
Personal best is an amazing gym! Smaller classes so it does feel more personal. Miley and Colin know their stuff and what they are doing, brilliant guys. I would highly recommend this gym, best one out there!
Only gym I’ve went back to!
I have been to numerous gyms over the years and found them to be too overwhelming after my induction as I can’t remember how to work the machines. At personal best I’ve never felt that, staff recognise straight away if I’m struggling and are happy to help.
The classes are great and the app allows me to book what works for my schedule for the week. There’s a mix of age and abilities that attend but everything is adapted to suit individuals.

I initially joined personal bests six week programme after a fractured knee gave me the wake up call I needed to start looking after myself more, and I have decided to keep coming back. As someone that has suffered with debilitating anxiety most of my life, walking through the door can sometimes be the hardest part of it all. The PTs and members have been very welcoming and supportive. It is a community that truly lifts each other up and you can feel that we’re all in this together, no matter what point in your fitness journey you’re at. ❤️
An Amazing Team
I originally joined Personal Best as part of a 6 week challenge. I was someone who wanted to get fitter and healthier, and had tried managing this on my own several times without much success.
The team at Personal Best have been incredibly welcoming and encouraging. The Small Group PT classes have been brilliant for keeping me on track and helping me hit my goals, alongside some great nutritional aims.
Group classes have also been incredibly fun and challenging. Personal Best really has formed a great community that I would recommend to anyone looking to start (and make sure they continue) their fitness journey!

I found all the coaches professional, supportive, helpful and motivational but never judgemental.

As someone who is just getting into hyrox, I really like the classes they do for this.
Coaches are very welcoming, supporting and knowledgeable which is exactly what you’re after when coming along.
Such a good community and everyone supports and pushes each other.

Started with the 6 week challenge whete it gave me the opportunity to experience the Small Group PT sessions and get a look at all the classes… staying on as the coaches are all excellent and shaped a program to my personal needs post operation! I’m learning and adapting training like never before! Highly recommend

I’ve been to many gyms over the years but Personal Best truly is the best! Edyta, Michael and Colin are so encouraging and supportive. I started out with the hyrox classes then went on to do the 6 week challenge and I’m definitely going to continue.
