The Janet reformer is great— folds easily, moves smoothly, and feels sturdy. I had a few questions after setting it up, and one of their team set up a consultation and worked through everything with me on a video call to make sure we got everything squared away.

The quality of my reformer is amazing

The quality of my reformer is amazing. I am thrilled with it. It is probably better than the one I used at Club Pilates. The installation was a breeze. The staff has been very responsive to all my questions, including setting up a video call to show me the answers to my questions.

Excellent Service Recovery

Hello, paid in full for a reformer at the end of November. Its February now. Zero communication. I then get an email stating it's been delivered. It hasn't and I cannot call because there is no phone number or get anyone to correct this. I don't know if it will still delivered, when or if I've just been scammed. Will this help with getting someone to talk to me and tell me the status??

Update: The glitch with the shipping was corrected with a generous upgrade and immediate shipment of a reformer which was received on 2/12. Well packaged, easy to put together and impressive quality. 1 star changed to 5 star due to prompt response to review and solution which exceeded expectations.

Patience is a virtue

I’ve been a brand ambassador for Personal Hour for about three years now, and it’s been a phenomenal experience overall. The team has been great to work with, and the reformer itself is excellent, high quality, sturdy, and absolutely worth it.

The reformer is made to order, so delivery can take some time, but if you have a bit of patience, it’s completely worth the wait. I’ve had an awesome experience from start to finish and would highly recommend Personal Hour to anyone looking for a great reformer and a brand that truly stands behind its products.

While we don’t control the freight carrier’s internal communication processes, we absolutely take responsibility for the full delivery experience. If their communication fell short, that’s something we want to know and address.

We choose freight partners based on coverage and equipment safety, but feedback like yours helps us push for better service and continually evaluate our logistics partners. I’ll be sharing this internally with our operations team so it’s documented and escalated appropriately.

High-quality Pilates equipment

The 4 stars is because of the heaviness of the reformer and the assembly. The. videos online are great for assembling the reformer.

The reason for the 4 stars is because of the heaviness of the reformer and if the assembly is daunting for someone who does not do that well. But , the videos online for assembly ae great!
Other than that, it is perfect!
It is beautiful as well. It is worth the trouble of putting it altogether.
So far, I am happy I took the plunge and bought it.

Great customer service!

My Personal Hour reformer came quickly, but the accessories had not been included. I called customer service and they diligently worked with me to resolve the problem and get them shipped! They have answered all my questions about my new reformer setup!

Christmas gift not received.

My husband ordered one of your reformers on the 18 of December 18, 2025. It is now January 25, 2026 and I don’t have a reformer, I don’t have a delivery date. You have our money but we have nothing in return! You can’t even tell us when we should even expect any resolution. I thought I chose a good place to do business because you are located in the US. I was wrong and this is ridiculous! Buyer beware!

Mary, thank you for sharing your concerns. After carefully reviewing our records, we located an On-Demand order placed by Damon Duncan on December 18. On-Demand products have an estimated production and delivery timeline of at least 8 weeks, which is clearly displayed on our website before adding to cart as well as clear in our shipping policy. Additionally, we spoke with Damon on January 7, at which time we explained that the expected delivery window for this reformer is mid-February.

We completely understand how disappointing it can be to wait for a gift, and if this model were available in stock, we would gladly have shipped it sooner. However, this order is proceeding within the stated and communicated On-Demand timeline. We remain available to assist in any reasonable way and are happy to provide updates at any time. Your reformer is currently on track for delivery around mid-February.

I had conflicting information in…

I had conflicting information in regards to their lifetime warranty, after my first review, I was contacted by Joseph. We discussed the misinformation that I was given, and after speaking with him in length, and collaborating to improve the information going forward for customers. Usually, these days, you just get a email, stating, thanks for the information. This company went above and beyond. I highly recommend this company and product. Keep up the great work.

Excellent!

I have done Pilates for 15 years with a personal studio instructor. I wanted a reformer for my home, for my husband and I. We both wanted an excellent product. I decided upon a Nano Elite Plus Large Premium Studio Reformer. It exceeded my expectations! The glide is so smooth! The quality is excellent! It looks great! Everything was timely! The price point was very good. I had not been familiar with Personal Hour before my purchase, but I am a fan! I have not tried the App, but expect good things from it!

The quality of the reformer far…

The quality of the reformer far exceeded my expectations. It is an incredibly well built product and comes with tons of extra accessories. However it didn't come with installation instructions, which was frustrating. The installation videos online were all of slightly different models and very confusing.

I love the quality but how can someone…

I love the quality but how can someone ship orders without instructions to put it together. No parts list. A lot of guessing about what goes where and finally to top it all one leg came broken- it was loose in the packing.
I am anxious to use it and now the bootstrap is not installing. The customer service replies and that’s a good thing but how can a manufacturer not have QC before shipping no parts list and no instructions. Never seen this before.

BEST customer care AND quality equipment!

I really want to highlight how incredibly helpful Mark was throughout my experience. He was the only person I needed to speak with regarding an issue (which was actually with the delivery service — not PersonalHour), and he handled everything with so much ease and care. He validated every step of my request and genuinely took the time to work through the third-party service with me, which made a stressful situation feel totally manageable.

Mark was prompt, communicative, and honestly just the easiest, most pleasant person to talk to. Because of that alone, I would recommend this company a million times over for customer service.

And then there’s the equipment… I am absolutely obsessed with my Cadillac Reformer combo unit. I’ve been teaching Pilates for over a decade, and this is truly one of the most functional, elite pieces of equipment I’ve ever used. Everything fits together seamlessly, the springs are incredibly high quality with excellent resistance, and it feels genuinely commercial-grade — even in a home setting. If I had a full studio space, I wouldn’t hesitate to order exclusively from them.

Top-tier service and top-tier equipment. ❤️

Great Reformer, Installation not ideal

The shipping and delivery were fast and great. The compact packaging of the reformer was very nice. Unloading it was simple. Putting it together not so much as there were no installation/assembly instructions for the specific reformer I purchased (Janet Elile Plus). I found instructions for other Janet models but there were so many differences. What was advertised as 15 minute set up took me over 3 hours to figure out.

Using the reformer has been good. Simple and easy to fold down and up, high quality parts, and I can workout way more often than going to a studio. I do recommend.
