PetInsurance.ie Avis 

After months of waiting long periods for a reply, I sent the vet letter on 12th November that they requested stating that the problem with my dog's ear was due to a yeast infection (which they should have been able to read on the pet history so either they are stupid or they are trying to scam). They then send me an email on the 26th claiming that I have not followed up with my claim even though I got a confirmation email. I emailed back straight away with screenshots of both the confirmation that they received it and the vet letter they wanted. It is the 17th of December now and obviously still no word so I cancelled my subscription with them because why would I keep paying people who are clearly scamming me. I wish I checked the reviews better before wasting my time with them.

It was quick and easy to get the quote but when applying it said you get a discount for having multiple pets but tge discount only applied after adding 1 other pet and not the third one one.

Simple easy step by step instructions. Choices clear and once you have your information at hand it takes less than 5mins to complete. Another box ticked. Job well done. One less on the todo list

We have both a cat and a dog, I wanted a straightforward method of getting pet insurance for both. I did a search and found perinsurance.ie, I didn't need to look any further, I didn't have our dogs microchip at hand so I rang them and they said no problem, but that I'll need it in the event of a claim. All round very good experience, pleasant and helpful staff and I would recommend.

Extremely dissapointing. Fraud.

We were clients for over 12 months. Tried to make a claim twice (our dog is healthy). Each time they found something wrong - either the documents or pre-existing condition. It doesn't matter that the test result clearly stated that the dog is healthy and there are NO ISSUES OR CONDITIONS. We made 2 claims in around 2 years, both times were denied on technical terms. We will be making official complaint on suspicion of fraud

Unfortunately I had to make a claim with them as my shih tzu Minnie had two surgeries within a week of each other. She had bladder stones removed and then had a reaction to the sutures so had to get some of her bladder removed. She was up and down between 3 different vets and all the bills were adding up. Thankfully she is back to herself! I was a bit worried having to make a claim as there were some bad reviews on here saying it took months to sort out etc. I am making this review today as I had an easy experience with petinsurance.ie in processing the claim! They were quick to respond, within 3 working days, when they needed extra information and the claim was processed within 5 working days! It was my own vets that were being slow in getting documents from!! But just want to leave this here in case someone is having to make a claim and sees the bad reviews, I've had a good experience, thankfully!!

I looked up pet insurance for my mix breed pup after seeing my sisters dog poorly and needed vet care
When I came across petinsurace I checked it out and found it covered everything and it was reasonably priced so I went ahead a purchased lifetime cover.

Absolute cowboys stay away from them. Have been paying a policy with the (premium) and discovered in the small print they won't continue covering my dogs epilepsy and won't let me upgrade. They don't care about pets and they don't care about you use another provider. Customer service was also awful stay away at all costs
