Despite several reminders about my flu jab appointment, when I arrived they told me that they only had vaccine suitable for under 50 Yr old.
I could have been told so that I didn't waste my journey

I attended for a Covid jab. On arrival I was greeted by a friendly courteous member of staff and was quickly directed to the Pharmacist, Noreen.
The purpose of the jab was explained fully and was completed successfully.
I was pleased to learn that Noreen was authorised to prescribe NHS medicines. I will definitely make this my first stop for any qualifying medication.

I had a recent problem with my nose, and the staff recommended what to use. The pharmacist prescibed the nose spray on the common ailment scheme. The treatment has helped a lot.

Went to a travel clinic. The chap who saw me was so nice and took all the details of my trip before saying that I only really needed vaccines that I should be able to get as boosters from my G.P.
This was much more honest than a guy I saw at Boots a few years ago - he sold me far more malaria tablets than I needed! I did manage to complain & get some money refunded but it was a big hassle!

I would like to sincerely thank this pharmacist for her help. She was very kind, professional, and explained everything clearly. I am truly grateful for her support and highly recommend her.

The vaccination process went smoothly. The reason I gave 4 stars was that I was asked more than once about also having my blood pressure taken at the same time. I explained I was ok and did explain I normally had my blood pressure taken at the pharmacy that I collection my prescriptions and I also have a yearly blood pressure check as part of my thyroxin level check but was still asked about having a blood pressure check.

I tried to reschedule my flu jab which I booked online and hung on the phone for 15 mins and then gave up. Why can’t you email someone or cancel/reschedule online or give people an indication of where they are in the telephone queue?
As I didn’t want to just not turn up I drove into town through rush hour. I arrived at the chemist 15 mins before my appointment time and was told my appointment should have been cancelled as they had not received any vaccine stock. No-one had bothered to notify me. First and last time I will use Pharmacy Plus!

Booked a flu jab a week in advance only to be told on the day they didn’t have any vaccine stock. It was available when I booked so why didn’t they hold one for me? Guess they don’t understand how booking and reserving works. Very poor.
