It has taken months and months …
It has taken months and months and months I still haven't received my money yet the value on my pension has fallen in value during this long process I feel I was coerced into using hub financial as the agent to get my money out as I was offered a "Hobsons Choice" either use them of face even a longer waiting time.

I made a follow up call a few days ago…
I made a follow up call a few days ago to check on the progress of my earlier enquiry. The person I spoke to was reassuring and advised that as the question referred to a policy taken out in 1998 it might take a while for it to be resolved. And, a few days later the question was resolved and the necessary paperwork arrived.
4 weeks & still not got money to pay VAT Invoice tomorrow
4 weeks ago I began the process, of drawing down, which is clearly stated on the correspondence that i could draw down my 'tax-free' lump sum, not a huge amount but I needed it for my VAT bill due tomorrow the 7th July ..... after afternoons on the phone from work & then constantly being told to use the website, which try as I may, I could not access the website but wasn't informed of this ........ what a waste of my time at work!!
So apparently my pension is sooooo old i have to transfer it to Standard Life (contrary to the letters/emails I have rceived from Phoenix) - confused yet?? So here I am having been talking to 3 different people in an hour - waiting for another person to transfer it & my VAT bill needs paying tomorrow - Keep well away from PHOENIX LIFE ....

My enquiry was dealt with in a sensitive and efficient manner addressing the matter quickly and with instant understanding. Unfortunately we have no control over the postal system in either country.

I have been waiting for over a year
I have been waiting for over a year for my pension to be sorted out . I am still waiting for information to get my tax free money . My pension advisor and Transact have been on to you last week to get the correct paperwork. I can not payoff my credit cards and get my draw down allowance until you sort things out.

More answers to phones and higher quality of receivers.
Very simple but it is unlikely to happen. Get rid of A1 wasting hours of time and hours of having to wait to speak to someone. Impossible as regards to the one to myphoenix, hours and never get an answer.
People who have been selected to answer questions do not have the experience to deal with questions in hand. The people are often from non uk people and make the conversation almost impossible to understand.

Can Phoenix Life be trusted with your Pension?
Phoenix Life out of respect owe me an explaination as to how and why they failed to switch funds requested more than 7 months ago and to this day still deny me this information. I have absolutely no confidence in them managing my pension!
