The studio itself was in fairly good condition with backline, drums and pa all working fine. Downsides are lack of ventilation, and bleed through from other rehearsals and people smoking hash outside.... Voir plus

Pirate studios first timer...
First time using Pirate studios as recommended by a friend. Only using the studio for drum practice and i was very impressed how easy it was to book. The studio was clean, comfortable and air conditioning worked great. Just down the corridor they have toilet facilities which were clean and a canteen which done the job for refreshments. I definitely will be back soon.

Bin gerade dabei meine DJ Skills zu verbessern und die Pirate Studios bieten sich da super an :) Abgesehen davon sich die Klimaanlagen manchmal echt komisch verhalten hab ich ansonsten echt nichts zu meckern ! Top Ausstattung macht immer wieder Spaß :D

shocking malpractice
Company is now asking for proof of ID which I could not give in hardcopy due to my passport being held at the renewals office. Either way I’ve booked before and the company holds my credit card details so I don’t know what the issue is. Upon request of asking them to delete my personal information was given no assurance other than to delete my account. Be cautious if you are happy to have bots keep all your personal information for potential fraud. In obvious breach of GDPR and financial services authority guidelines.

Hi Sal, thanks for leaving such a detailed review. For starters you may not have been asked to verify your ID depending on the type of room you booked. Some rooms and locations require a level 2 verification, to even book them. This is especially true for cdj rooms and other rooms with high value equipment. We require that photos be taken of both your ID and yourself at the time to insure that there is no fraud taking place. You would be surprised at how many people use photos of other peoples ID's.
As far as your credit card details, the account needs to be deleted by you, which then allows us to do a final GDPR deletion which gets you out of our system entirely, but it must first be initiated on the customer side. From there you are no longer in our booking or financial system.

Mittlerweile eine reinste Katastrophe
Mittlerweile eine reinste Katastrophe. Die Klimaanlagen defekt, die Mixer und die Player ebenfalls. An der Hotline wird man mit Promocodes vertröstet die nicht funktionieren. Wirklich traurig. Security achtet mittlerweile darauf dass kein Gesocks mehr da sind, dafür wird aber mit dem Equipment nichts gemacht.

Great Podcast-Studio
We booked a Podcast-Studio in Hamburg and we were happy with this studio. It was nice, quiet and we had great equipment for our recording. So all in all perfect conditions to record a new podcast episode. We will definitely come back here :)

Zehn Minuten vor Beginn der Buchung der…
Zehn Minuten vor Beginn der Buchung der SHOWCASE- Bühne wurde mir diese mal eben per SMS ganz lapidar gecancelt... und das Geld, immerhin fast 100 €, nicht mal zurückerstattet, sondern als "Credit" einbehalten. Super daneben und unverschämt in meinen Augen (mal abgesehen vom Orga- und Kohle Aufwand für die Generalprobe, die dort stattfinden sollte und die nun geplatzt ist). Werde bei Pirate nur noch im äußersten Notfall buchen - und damit rechnen, dass ich dann am Ende möglicherweise ohne Übungsraum dastehe...Wenn ich könnte, würde ich null Sterne geben...

In diesem Fall tun wir unser Bestes, um Sie in den gleichen Zimmertyp umzuziehen, aber wenn kein Zimmer verfügbar ist, müssen wir die Buchung stornieren.
Das Guthaben wird in diesem Fall gewährt, damit Sie eine weitere Buchung vornehmen können, sobald ein für Sie passender Zeitpunkt und ein für Sie passendes Zimmer verfügbar ist. Ich kann durchaus verstehen, dass das in diesem Fall nicht sehr hilfreich ist, da Sie das Zimmer zur Vorbereitung eines bestimmten Termins benötigten.

DJ Studio rentals in Berlin
I have booked DJ Studios at Pirate for several years now, always happy with the service, never had a problem with the equipment, or the support, which I luckily only had to contact once because I couldnt add any guests to my booking, the problem was easily and quickly resolved. Highly recommendable.

I were there a couple times now and it was overall a great experience at the dj studios. The first time I had an issue with my booking where it got cancelled twice but I got all my money back as fast as possible so that wasn’t a big problem. The dj gear is in a used condition but I think that is something that isn’t possible to change and it also prepares you for the dj gear in clubs which is sometimes not in great condition. I also like the community and the way pirate works with the community. 5/5 Stars.

Super equip, nice Akustik, easy2 handle! Preis geht auch klar…ein wenig Partybeleuchtung wäre noch cool :)
Ist zwar schade dass nicht jeder mit den Studios so umgeht wie es sein sollte, aber was will man machen. Menschen sind nun mal Menschen. Am Studio an sich gibt es nichts auszusetzen und ich bin echt froh sowas um die Ecke zu haben!

Really good for preparation
I had to prepare my Set for some gigs coming up and I had a really good experience with Pirate!
Everything worked fine and as it should.
I also learned many things about the equipment which was really nice because most clubs use the same.
