Sure feels like a scam
I thought I was using the website of Boots.com to obtain a UK compliant digital passport photo. It said ‘boots.com’ in the web site address bar. When I clicked to upload my HEIF image from my iPhone the address bar changed to pixelied.com I checked it had a security certificate https. I downloaded my supposedly compliant image after paying £6.95 by card. The site has my name, card details and card security number. The image was png. The passport office only accepts jpg and JPEG formats. I emailed the only contact available which is an email address support@ I’ve tried from three different accounts and they all get spat back as Mail
Undelivered due to server being misconfigured. I have had to cancel my card in case this is a scam site. A total nightmare. My card company wasn’t able to get an email through either. I wish I’d never carried on when ‘boots’ morphed into pixelied. Stupid me.
