Pop-A-Lock Locksmith Avis 

I needed battery service and my insurance carrier initially dispatched another company. After waiting for an 1 1/2 hours Pop-A-Lock was dispatched and arrived within 40 minutes. Shane communicated with me during the wait and was absolutely great.

Barry has twice helped us out and each time he was friendly, professional and courteous! Both calls for service was handled promptly and extremely well! Thanks for everything and will highly recommend Pop-A-Lock.

Terrible service!!!! Called and gave dispatcher my info over and over. All for her to “accidentally” put me on hold and then hang up on me TWICE!!! Dispatcher Nikki needs to be fired

I would give a negative rate if it would let me. Called and was told someone would be there in 20 minutes. Called back 35 minutes later and was told there was never a call placed for the address I provided. Requested service again and was told it would be 20 minutes. Call right back to make sure my call was put in and was told all was good. Received a text message saying someone was on the way. 35 minutes later received a phone call stating there was no one in the area that could help me. All this time I am stuck outside in 1 degree weather. Will NEVER use or recommend this company.

I would not give one star if I could have a choice.... googling their location, it was 4.4 miles from me. She said she cannot cover my area and when asked why because I was looking at a map she hung up the phone.

I called back and asked again why she could not help me, again she hung up. Extremely poor service at being best said. Do not EVER use this company!!! They will not accommodate anyone, and clearly have false advertising. Claiming to service the Kannoplis and Concord area. They do not. Even though a location is 4.4 miles away from me. Pathetic

They take forever!! Not worth the wait or money when you can just call someone with the tool. Or buy it. I have never called them cause my friend does it for a living but he's out of town. I
NEVER AGAIN FIND SOMEONE ELSE!

i have been waiting since 3 pm for their service, its now 630pm and they are no shows. called corporate office, they tried, but cant figure out what happened and cant reach tech. Im stranded.....not the kind of service you need from a locksmith

James was amazing. He was very communicative, informative, and respectable. He had a mask on for safety and was extremely kind. I will definitely be using this service (hopefully not any time soon haha) due to his great services!!!!

I was on my way to work when I got a flat tire. Pulled over to see a huge gash in my tire and was instantly upset. I called road side assistance and Gwen (the road side assistance angle) showed up. She was very polite and friendly and instantly got to work. I’m a nurse and was dressed in scrubs and told her I could help if she needed anything. She told me she had it and I could wait in the car if I wanted to or stay and chat with her, neither would bother her. While chatting I asked how long the spare would be good for (my husband and I are both nurses we work a lot and wouldn’t be able to have it fixed soon). She said “i can take your tire if you want me to, get a new one put on your rim and go to the hospital parking garage to put it back on” 😦😦😦 that was literally my face. I didn’t even know what to say! She went above and beyond! Way above and beyond!!! She turned my bad day around! She made such a difference and I want her to know! She deserves a raise! Thank you Gwen with pop-a-lock! You are an MVP for them for sure! (Ps I posted her kind act on my Facebook and people are commenting Their stories and interactions with her too! This girl rocks!)

I used pop a lock to rekey my lock when I moved in...I was very happy with them. A few months later, the key wouldn't turn so I called them back and said my lock was broken. When the serviceman came, he said they didn't work on those smart locks and charged me $65 to tell me that! Wouldn't they have had some record or questioned me first. I called Village Key and they replaced the lock & service call for $69!

Technician was very professional and patient as my grandmother w dementia is not easy to deal with. The car was not an easy car as it had sat for a while. Tiv made sure he did everything to get in the car and make a new key. Will be using them in the future.

I called when I locked my keys in the car. I gave the dispatcher the address of the location multiple times. Over and over she said that she could not find it. Then I said it is on the corner of a major highway and a state highway. She acting like I was stupid saying there are people in businesses around you ask them the address. They said the same address I already told her 4 times. Still this woman could not find it. Hire better dispatchers or at least ones that know how to work goggle maps.

Came recommended from my first choice in locksmith (they were too busy to help me), but I'm puzzled as to why. Aaron at pop a lock needs customer service training, idk why he is so short with his customers, he's condescending and frankly just didn't seem like he wanted to help me. Will be sure to avoid these guys. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere

Reasonable rates but technician could use a crash course on mannerisms, friendly customer service, and the proper attitude with customers that are paying for your service. The technician that came out tonight was so very rude on the phone and had even a worse attitude when arriving. You work for a company where customer service is important. The technician that came out tonight needs to be educated on that fact. I will never use pop-a-lock again so congrats on assuring that buddy 👍

This is the sorriest company ever , I was originally told they would arrive in 35 min , 40min passed I called the tech and he told me he really don’t feel like coming . My keys was locked in the car in a rough neighborhood. Then he said he would be there in 20 more mins so we’re at a hr now .
I tried calling the guy back after 30 and got no answer . So I called there office and the lady said the tech had came he tried calling me so did she keep in mind I had no missed calls what so ever !!! She also had a bad attitude. So I called my insurance and told them to send another company and never use that piece of s@&t company again!!!

Had Anthony come out and pop my truck open after key fob has been messing up he did a very good and quick job very highly recommended

Barry came to the house and made keys for the car on site.He came earlier than what AAA said in fact 4 hrs earlier. And got it done in no time.Price is reasonable and good work ethic.Also buy 2 fob for my car price is unbeatable.I will highly recommend them.And I am glad they are part of AAA
services.

Just had Steve from Pop-A-Lock Alford come and renew our back door lock. He did a brilliant job (the lock being 35 years old). Can thoroughly recommend him and his Company. Thank you Steve, your a star.

The worst customer service and the technicians are LAZY and NASTY as are the office reps.
HOW CAN MERCEDES USE THEIR SERVICES FOR CLIENTS??

POPALOCK IN TITUSVILLE AREA ARE PIECES OF SCUM my mother who is 62 locked her keys in her car along with her phone in 100 degree heat here in florida and she got a phone from someone to call popalock this was at 4pm at 8pm she called me (her son ) and told me she had just gotten in to her car. Their excuse was that they didn't see her when she even put where she was in the comment area they didn't even try to look for her pathetic and down right not caring attitude could of left my mom in the hospital for heat exhaustion .poor service I will never use these people again and I hope people who read this will not use them too just because of the way they treated my mother
