This was a positive experience for me.

This was a positive experience for me.
I have been trying to lose some weight and get into a healthier lifestyle this has helped me do that
I lost 6lbs on the Prolon foods.
I have lost a further 3lbs due to rethinking my eating habits.

Good product. Haphazard company.

Although I do believe the product to be very good the organisation of the company is a little haphazard. Boxes arrived that I didn’t order and the news letter keeps offering discounts which are not applicable when I go to order. Would probably put me off ordering again.

Hospitalised with gallbladder issues!

Well I ended up in hospital in a huge amount of pain with a gallstone / gallbladder issues the day after the end of my 5 day fast (the first time I've ever experienced anything like this). The doctors I spoke to warned that this can be a negative result of fasting and fasting like diets, as a result of rapid weight loss and the "shock" your body experiences with a sudden change in diet. This is especially true if you are only slightly overweight and a known risk factor with obesity. I think it's only fair to warn others what can happen - Google it! I was shocked. Needless to say this will be the last time I use this product!

Fantastic

Fantastic, science backed, easy to use, takes the headache out of cooking! I don’t feel hungry and it’s day 4. New flavours really good. Look forward to the honey/nut bar and love that this is almost all whole food i.e. not ultra-processed soups and shakes. Have done prolon 4 times now and feeling better each time - does wonders for mood, energy level and long-covid.

Great way to 'fast'

Great way to 'fast'. The new soup flavours are great (much improved). I really like opening the box for each day, as it's all made so easy to do. Feels like a treat. I do it for the health benefits, rather than weight loss. I didn't weight myself before and after, but I feel leaner afterwards. I recommend this to anyone suitable who wants to improve their health. I respect the science behind the product and value Valter Longo's research.

I'm currently on day 3 of the 5 day…

I'm currently on day 3 of the 5 day fast. Finding it so much easier than last time but I have to say the new formula for the soup is not good. I went with the original package as I really enjoyed the soup from it the first time around and now I have to say I am not looking forward to lunch or dinner really. I can't really put my finger on what it is. The best one is the tomato by a long shot. I do appreciate the new recyclable packaging. Was a bit disappointed that I didn't get a pro lon bottle this time as mine got taken from a tour bus. So I don't really have anything to consistently measure how much water I am drinking every day. (obviously I am using a jug but I can't take that outside with me). Anyway that is just a small gripe. I took the other star off because I ordered the breakfast bars pack as well and it took over a month to get delivered but I think that was down to EVRI and not ProLon. Still was frustrating though.

That’s great I must have missed that on ordering - will get it for next time. Yes I emailed info and heard nothing back. Then the box miraculously appeared on my door step two days later with no email of delivery from Evri. V strange.

We would like to underline that our Nutrition Bars are based on the Fasting Mimicking Technology, so they can be taken after 12 hours of fasting, in order to properly nourish the body without kicking it out of a fasting state until the next meal. Otherwise, it could be evaluated as a healthy snack to be included into a personalized nutritional plan, based on the subject's needs.

I really didn’t feel a difference after…

I really didn’t feel a difference after the 5 days. Truly once it was over I felt the exact same. Helps with relationship with food but I felt so sick and bad at work on so little calories and was constantly starving. For the cost, and eating so little and the food so nutritionally deficient I didn’t see the point. Won’t be doing this again.

This was my second time using the…

This was my second time using the Prolon 5 day FMD. The first time I did all five days. This time I only made it to day four. I felt terrible on day four. Couldn’t stomach anymore packet soups.
