Poor Quality Bat and Disappointing Customer Service
Very disappointed with Prophacy Cricket. I bought a bat for around 2000 kr and after only 4 matches plus light indoor practice with a soft/light ball, the bat completely split (into two pieces) and became unusable in less than a year.
I contacted customer service with photos, expecting some support, but they refused to replace, repair, or refund it and only replied that the warranty period was over. A bat at this price should last much longer with such limited use.
Really poor experience with both the product quality and customer service.

We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, but we’d like to clarify the situation for transparency.
As soon as we received your email, our team responded in full within 2 hours and carefully reviewed the photos and details you provided. Unfortunately, your bat was outside of the manufacturer’s warranty period, which limits the options we can formally offer in terms of replacement or refund.
That said, we didn’t leave things there. As a gesture of goodwill, we offered several potential solutions to try and help resolve the situation, despite the product being out of warranty. These were intended to be fair and supportive given the circumstances.
We do, however, feel that your expectations went beyond what is reasonable for a product outside of its warranty coverage. Additionally, the tone of the correspondence included unprofessional threats of negative reviews and social media posts if your demands were not met, which made it difficult to reach a constructive resolution.
We always aim to treat our customers fairly and respond quickly, and we believe we did so in this case. We’re still open to finding a reasonable way forward if you’d like to revisit the options previously offered.

Great bat refurb
Had my 10 year old new balance bat refurbished and received it back today. Looks really great with the Prophecy stickers and smooth blade.
Feels like I have a new bat again. Look forward to using it in winter nets after Christmas!
