Generally good service

Easy to navigate the website and order confirmation came through immediately. Parts were shipped within 24 hours so a pretty good experience overall.

We are sorry to hear your delivery was delayed, unbeknown to us it was held at the Hub for a day so instead of being delivered next day on the 1st Feb it was actually delivered on the 2nd Feb so I do apologise it took 2 days, unfortunately once the shipment leaves Protool we have very little control over the parcel.

Also we are sorry to hear you think the delivery cost was excessive, we have lowered the minimum spend to only £30.00 which entitles the customer to next day free delivery, which as your parcel was under this value the delivery charge is automatically applied at £7.50, again our hands are tied with the cost of this due to the courier charges.

Again apologies you were not completely satisfied on this occasion.

Ordered a turning tool L/Hand showing…

Ordered a turning tool L/Hand showing in stock, for immediate dispatch. So ordered after the welcome e-mail I received a not in stock your order will be delayed.
Left it for a couple of days customer services replied saying another week unless you want an alternative that we have in stock. Dispatched and received all ok.
Kellie was a great help.

Customer Service as it should be.

Ordered a small metric tap to clear out threads on a bespoke 1986 race bicycle. It arrived very promptly and I then realised it wasn’t the flat ended tap which was needed to clear a blind hole. Contacted Customer Services who investigated and despite the fact that it was probably due to my ordering mistake the replacement was provided without charge. Amazing Customer Service. Such a shame that not all Companies have Customer Services to this standard.

Not next day. Goods not idea. Disinterest.

I bought a a cutter with next day delivery. It arrived late. When I enquired about when it would arrive I was told they would investigate and implied the postage maybe refunded. Oddly I then got charged twice for delivery (was corrected by accounts). I never got a refund for postage. No huge issue.
I understand next day services are not always next day and there policy is not to issue refunds for postage.

However the cutter arrived with something on the shaft. Sort of plastic blob on a small section. It was hard to remove and wouldn't come of with solvents.

I phoned about this but they seemed disinterested.

So yea not too happy with the service or the products.

I know you have been in direct contact with our team who have addressed these issues with you directly and I am sorry you feel these have not been resolved to your full satisfaction. It is always our intention to make sure our customers are full satisfied, and any issues fully resolved.

LATE DELIVERY - As previously explained, with regards to the delivery arriving late there was an accident on the local motorway and the driver was unable to make the connection to the hub which resulted in everybody’s orders being delayed. I am sure you appreciate that these are exceptional circumstances beyond both our control and the couriers, with all the best will in the world I am sure you will agree due to the reason for the delay that next day delivery was not possible in this instance. Our courier worked very hard to resolve the lateness of our parcels and I can see your parcel did reach you at 11.35am on the next available working day, I am sure you understand why we would not offer a refund on carriage in this instance, we don’t have a policy not to refund carriage we simply deal with each case on its merit.

DELIVERY CHARGE - As you paid for your order in advance I can see you were not actually charged twice for delivery, but you are quite correct, your invoice did indeed show an additional delivery charge, this was generated purely in error but was resolved immediately when you reported this to us and we thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Our colleague did indeed take on board your concerns over the “plastic blob” on the tool holder, after seeing the photograph you sent over to us we believed it to be cutting paste, we advised that this should be easy to scrape off but that if you had any further concerns and were not able to remove it to please come back to us and let us know, when you didn’t come back to us we assumed all was good and it had all come off. Unfortunately, as we were not aware there was still an issue we could obviously not further assist you. Please feel free to reach out to our team if you still need assistance.

Please be assured that customer satisfaction is always our top priority and we always want our customers to have a positive buying experience with us. I am sorry you feel we let you down on this occasion but please always be assured of our best intentions.
