I’m sharing my experience in case other Colorado consumers are seeing the same issue.
On January 18, 2026 I attended the Show Me Reptiles event at The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland, Colorado. The event advertised free parking, but attendees were instructed to enter their vehicle information through the ParkWhiz system.
I followed the instructions and received a valid ParkWhiz reservation confirmation.
Two days later I received a “Notice of Non-Compliance” from Parking Revenue Recovery Services Inc. claiming that parking had not been paid and demanding a $55 fee.
I immediately submitted a dispute through the website listed in the notice. The dispute system provided no case number, confirmation email, or way to track the submission.
Months later the alleged fee was escalated to a collection notice from an attorney.
I have documentation showing:
• the ParkWhiz reservation confirmation
• the violation notice
• dispute submissions
I have now formally disputed the debt and filed complaints with Colorado consumer protection agencies.
If other attendees from this event or location experienced similar notices, it would be helpful to know how widespread this issue may be.
These people are frauds and steal your money. I parked in orlando and showed the receipt. At the time of parking, I tried to extend my time and the site would not allow it. So we left the restaurant and just decided to leave but because the time had just expired they charged $97. Even after sending a dispute with evidence they still denied it.
Complete scam. They charged me 104$ when I didn't even park in the lot. Then another 104$ WHEN I PAID TO BE IN THE LOT AND ALL THE SPOTS WERE TAKEN. And now they are literally refusing to even respond to my messages!
I paid to park here as a gym member. I was told by numerous groups they didn’t pay. A few weeks later I’m getting charged a $98 fine for staying a little longer past my time. I asked the groups who did NOT pay if anyone else had been changed or fined and nobody but myself was fined. At the end of the day it’s better to not pay for this pointless parking when they will just scam you with of an insane fine. Never again.
Speculative enforcement, no proof. Paid for 3 hours, but PRRS fined me based only on entry/exit timestamps. No photographic evidence or signage provided. Refused written dispute. Filed complaints with BBB and Texas AG. Don’t let them sucker you into paying.
They never have anyone attending their lots! Avoid parking. My fee was $100 and I was there for a charity event. Screw them
This is the absolutely worst company to ever do business in the State of Texas. They are complete crooks. Do not ever park in the parking lots that they manage. I parked in one at 611 N Bishop Avenue, Dallas, TX. I registered my car using their QR code. I used my credit card. Paid and was never sent a receipt after my payment so now I don’t have evidence that I paid. I should have taken a screenshot, but I didn’t think to do so at the time. I thought I could trust this company. They are complete crooks. They sent me a $97 bill which is 4 times the amount of parking. If you park in one of the lots, you better take your own pictures and video to show that you paid. Complete crooks and complete corporate greed!
Avoid any PRRS parking lot at all cost. This company has excessive and even predatory fines if you drive in the lot and pull out or are late getting back to your car. They are unreasonable even when offering to pay for the extra time if you are late. They use it as a way to steal money from patrons. Horrible company and a horrible reputation. I’d give them negative stars if I could.
Horrible horrible. This lot was unattended. There was no way to pay for parking here. The sign on the back of the building at the parking said Texas de Brazil so we assumed it was their parking. There was no place to buy a ticket to park either. They sent me a bill for $87 for one hour 10 minutes at an unattended parking lot.
