Trademark scammers
I own a registered trademark with the USPTO, they claimed my trademark was about to expire and to send them money. I reported them to the FTC, which is the agency you should report this too. They have nothing to do with the USPTO and are scammers.
they are lowest of the lows
they are lowest of the lows, nobody picks up the phone when we tried to call them, they tried to scam hard earn money from the small business might not have the knowledge or resources to find out the norm of trademark registration, shame on them
I was sent a fraudulent letter…
I was sent a fraudulent letter demanding money. I contacted the real USPTO. They confirmed it wasn't from them. The USPTO also stated I didn't have to renew my trademark because trademarks are forever as long as it is in use.
Scammers
Scammers. Their outer envelope is addressed from the "Patent & Trademark Office" with "IMPORTANT - OPEN IMMEDIATELY" in bold red letters. Opening it, you see "Pending Trademark Cancellation" at the top of a very official looking letter with a warning "Your trademark is about to expire" with an expiration date just a couple weeks away. Our service mark isn't due for renewal for years. This is a totally deceptive scam. The government should shut down people like this.
Beware of this scam.

This company preys on small businesses that own trademarks. They will send you correspondence in the mail saying that your trademark is about to expire and be cancelled. Firstly, it isn't - it's just a way for them to get money out of you. Secondly, the document looks official yet they have a .com website.
NO GOVERNMENT DOCUMENT WILL HAVE A .COM WEBSITE.
