Bought a Diamond Engagement ring in 2015 and one of the claws had slightly bent. I rang the head office and explained the situation and they were really helpful and asked me to either post the ring or make an appointment due to the cost of the ring i went to their Birmingham branch and met Lauren who was really friendly and so helpful.
She said she could sort it and even re sized the ring as it had got a little loose over the years. The ring has just turned up on the date she said it would and looks amazing. All of this was done FOC .
The service and helpfulness has been a joy, when buying over the internet you always worry but i would recommend anyone to give these people a go.

Essentially, I described the design of the engagement ring I wanted, which was drawn up on CAD and then 3D printed, so we could make sure it looked balanced. I also visited the showroom to check the actual diamond I had selected.

The end result was fantastic and the quality of the ring lived up to my expectations and more.

I recently purchased an engagement ring from this diamond jeweler, and while there were some positives, the overall experience left much to be desired.

On the positive side, their online portal made it easy to find a great diamond at a very competitive price. The communication throughout the process was reasonably timely, which I appreciated. However, the negatives significantly outweighed these positives.

1.The CAD design of the ring provided no essential information—ring thickness, type of ring, or grams of gold used. This lack of detail made it difficult to understand what I was actually paying for. And since the ring was being made in Birmingham for some reason there was no real opportunity to "design" it.

2.Although my engagement ring was supposed to be custom, I believe I’ve seen the exact same design on their social media. The salesperson did mention they had a similar ring, but I specifically requested unique details for my design. When the ring arrived, it looked identical to their standard designs, yet I was charged a premium for a "custom" job.

3.During the design process, I requested two specific details—claw prongs and a size L ring, as we had already taken measurements. Neither of these was delivered. The final result had round prongs and was their standard size M. While they quickly addressed the prong issue before delivery, they assured me it wouldn’t affect the proportions of the ring. Unfortunately, the prongs now look smaller and out of proportion with the stone. As for the size, I had to go through the inconvenience of resizing the ring.

In summary, this jeweler is not bad, but there’s a clear lack of attention to detail, and everything seems to be done to a mediocre standard. For simple, straightforward purchases, they might do a great job, and they are certainly a good source for diamonds. However, when it comes to custom jewelry design and delivering on agreed specifications, their workshop has serious limitations. If you’re looking for something truly unique and meticulously crafted, you might want to look elsewhere.

I approached Paul and his team with some design ideas in mind for my engagement ring and needed help realising this design and working out the details. Paul was really thorough and patient in his approach, making sure my ideas came together, and every detail was thought about, down to the sub-mm diameters of the diamonds used to get the right balance for both the design and for my finger size. I felt no pressure at any stage, and the team were quick to get back to me with design changes to realise my vision. They ended up producing a truly stunning and high quality ring that exceeded my expectations - I can’t stop looking at. I highly recommend Quality Diamonds and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Won't take responsibility saying it's how I 'feel' & not bad workmanship. I've found an issue also on band but refuse 2 comment if my 11.5k diamond is stable! Won't do anything about it until I tell my Fiancé who will be absolutely broken. They have ruined our engagement and for what? A few quid of gold.
Very fragile band. Very thin band doesn't support an 11.5k, 1.3 carat round diamond. Painful & tight (this should be size 'N' but bad fit).
I've lost weight since visiting their office so can only assume this is not my size or because it's such a ridiculously thin band, it makes it so sore to wear. My Fiancé struggled so much to get it onto my finger (cold on the day which makes the finger size smaller). Band barely visible. Band 'bespoke' knife-edge completely lost because it's so thin you can hardly see what shape it is, let alone the fact it is rose gold. Diamond is top heavy and just 'lost.' It's ridiculous this band was ever considered. The band will warp. It isn't practical. It isn't fit for purpose. I tried to drive my manual car yesterday & had to pull over & take it off because of the pain changing gears. Can't wear it for long as it hurts. No refund as it is a 'bespoke' ring. Don't inspect and clean annually for life as other stores do. Only give a one-off clean/inspect after 12 months.
So upset! My Fiancé doesn't know as I don't want to upset him but this ring isn't right so I will have to come up with a plan when I've had it a while to get the band changed & it'll probably cost me another 1k, and I'll get less than £100 scrap for this. I stated at the design stage I thought it sounded too little metal at 3.2g (as a novice) and was told that 'this type of design has a standard width of 2mm, and is 'definitely not too flimsy/dainty with a depth of 1.7mm.' IT DEFINITELY IS TOO FLIMSY AND DAINTY. I queried as my old engagement ring band was 3.5g of 18k yellow gold (not including the setting) and was told it was fine. IT ABSOLUTELY
ISN'T. WHY DIDN'T YOU LISTEN? This is suppose to be 'bespoke?' Surely if I yet again voice that I don't want anything thin, at what stage should I have been asked if I want it thicker? Shouldn't I have been asked how much gold I wanted? The CAD design doesn't allow you sadly to see what it truly looks like. That is only something you can see when you have it on as a finished product. Over and over I've stated I don't have a creative bone in my body and have no concept of how to imagine what the finished product would look like. Sadly you deal with London after you've seen Lauren & this I believe is where it completely breaks down. I am 100% sure if Lauren oversaw from beginning to end, I would be sat here now with tears of joy remarking on what a beautiful piece of jewellery I have. Instead I'm left with what I believe is a hideous looking ring. Four people that I've shown it to in the last 24 hours have remarked exactly the same. The band is so thin & silly. It just is & why anyone from start to finish think this would be an appropriate setting when I've stated so many times how thin and flimsy their silver mock-ups were (not sure of mm as didn't measure them)! My stunning diamond is just sat there looking 'undressed.' It is such a shame. From the offset it was absolutely apparent my expectations were high. With that in mind, every single email at every crucial stage should have been listened to as they are the experts, and not me. I didn't have any concept whatsoever but they would. After all, they make so many rings a day this mistake should never have happened. Their first quote for the 3.2g of metal was £1200.00. I decided absolutely not! My partner then took over and reduced it to £900.00 (I got £100 off the diamond). I believe if we'd have stuck to the
£1200.00, the ring would have been so much better. My thoughts are that they've taken the reduced amount into account and therefore took a gram of metal away. That extra gram would have made all the
difference. It would have looked stunning with an approximate size maybe ? 2.5mm/3mm band. Obviously now I've received it and fully understood how it looks, the dimensions are so teeny, tiny small.
The size band they've used would be appropriate for a young lady who specifically specifies a 'thin and dainty' band, or for a stone in my opinion not more than .75 carat to equal out the band/diamond ratio.
This will need redesigning and hopefully with someone who will LISTEN at design stage and hear
what the customer is saying and offer an alternative/feedback on their comments and not give a 'well it is the design' remark as surely if I'm paying for a 'bespoke' ring, shouldn't I have a say in how much gold's used, & it be made to my spec? Just couldn't have known how it would have looked until seen.

A late review due to a family bereavement…. I am delighted with my marquise engagement ring, bought to replace a 40 year old engagement ring now we have more money to spend! Excellent service, the ring surpassed my expectations and after sales were very prompt and helpful. I will revisit this store.

After much research and with a suspicious attitude towards online shopping, I bought a solitaire from Quality Diamond. A fantastic adventure throughout. Where to start? Let's start with the information: I had barely a clue about gemstones. Quality Diamonds gives you a comprehensive guide on how to qualify a diamond to find the stone you are looking for for your loved one(s). The website is incredibly informative and allows you to 'play around' until you find 'your stone'. The highly skilled team at Quality Diamonds understand the emotional side of buying a ring, the importance of the meaning behind it. They are extremely helpful, extremely supportive and no effort seems too high to make the customer feel comfortable. And last but not least, the price, which is up to 50% cheaper than in the local shop. All in all - a fantastic company.

After researching a number of sites I settled on Quality Diamonds as their reputation was very good. I was not disappointed.
I ordered emerald cut diamond ear rings for my partner. I really liked being able to choose the diamonds. I was contacted by Paul who suggested I change one of the chosen diamonds as the measurements were a little different and suggested a more expensive diamond which he gave to me at the original price quoted.
The earrings are magnificent, such a sparkle!

The company could not have been better to deal with. I ordered my diamond in the evening, and received a reply to a question after eight at night.
My delivery was earlier than expected. It was well packaged, and I was given a choice of dates to ensure that I would be in.
My package was complete with all documents, authenticity and beautifully presented.
And best of all, when I took it to the jewellers who was going to set it in a ring for me, he had to really search to find the inclusion. He was extremely impressed with my stone.
