Rapid Adventures Avis 

I advise you to stay away from this website. At first, they will say all the right things, but later you will see that their actions do not match their words. They are giving me a hard time for sharing my opinion on Trustpilot.

It was really nice, even with all the issues with the water you guys still manged to take us to the adventure thank you so much.
Even the guides were very friendly awesome experience.

Able to challenge ourselves always within a safe environment. Guides/instructors were great, helpful, supportive and made sure we stayed safe but also had lots of fun. It did however, seem to take quite a long time to get through some parts of the activities due to the large group size we had.

This activity agency from Sri Lanka unfortunately spoiled a great vacation for me. I booked an activity through them and paid in advance, but when the weather turned dangerous—with heavy rain, thick fog, and slippery conditions—the agency refused to cancel or offer a reasonable refund.

I contacted them in good time to cancel or find an alternative, but they were completely inflexible. They insisted on their terms and conditions, which state that only they can cancel an activity, leaving the customer with no say whatsoever. They offered alternatives that didn't fit my itinerary at all, and when I suggested other options from their own website, they either ignored me or gave misleading information. For example, they claimed boat tours weren't available during my travel dates, yet I easily found another provider doing the same tours at the same time—so that was clearly not true.

After that, they went radio silent. No willingness to compromise, no refund, no empathy. They saved on accommodation and labor costs since their guide never had to go out, but they kept my money anyway. It cost me a lot of stress during what should have been a relaxing vacation.

I realize that if the activity goes ahead, the quality might be fine. But if anything goes wrong—like bad weather, which is common in Sri Lanka—their stubbornness and money-first attitude become painfully clear. In Europe, no reputable company would run a hike in conditions like these, and 75% of other tour operators at the site turned their customers around that day.

Bottom line: If everything goes smoothly, maybe you'll have a good time. But if you run into any problem, don't expect them to be customer-oriented, flexible, or honest. I'm now out of pocket and left with a bad taste from what should have been a wonderful trip. Better to stay away from this agency.

Everything was very clear from the website, we chose the rafting and canyoning day package which was excellent value.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and our guides were the best - very clear instructions and made sure we got heaps of photos and videos to help remember our experience. We also had lunch at the venue which was a delicious Sri Lankan rice and curry. Thank you! We will come again

Extremely disorganized! We did a couple of tours/activities with them and always the same story: tour guides where good but the company was all over the place in terms of punctuality, communication/delay in getting back to, letting us know what we had to bring etc etc. I would not use them again

Very good experience, and cost efficient

The rafting experience was great because this is a beautiful part of the world. The rafting was exhilarating as expected but our river guide was experienced, calm and kept us safe.
A highlight was the amazing scenery as we floated past the locals playing in the river and the beautiful jungle. The river and shoreline clean too.
We had a swim and floated along and it was very chill.

We loved our stay with Rapid Adventures. The abseiling was great. Rafting was enjoyable. Food was delicious.

I had a wonderful experience with Rapid Adventure. I tried both water rafting and canyoning, and everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. The team was professional, friendly, and ensured safety throughout the activities. The pick-up and drop-off service was smooth, making the whole process stress-free. Highly recommend Rapid Adventure for an unforgettable outdoor experience.

We booked a 5 day fishing package for 5 adults through Rapid adventures. The communication from start to end, including packing list and assistance with Border check in, was excellent and assisted us greatly. We were given a good nights rest in clean and ample accommodation after travelling and set off on our 4 days on the river targeting yellow fish. The 3 Nama guides transported the bulk of our stuff and treated us to a proper off the grid adventure. Seeing to our every need from excellent food to outdoor toilet facilities, setting up lunch stops and setting up our evening tents. The guides were absolutely awesome. This was an unforgettable experience for all 5 of us. We fished a pristine Orange river, with many many cathes for the album, was absolutely awesome and an amazing experience. Would love to thank Brendan and his mom for their friendly and welcoming manner and for treating us to an unforgettable experience. I will truly recommend Rapid Aventures, go wander with them.......

We booked a day out in Kitulgala with rafting and canyoning. It was out first time doing this but the guides explained everything we needed to know. It takes about 3 hours. We could change in a room at the activity center. Questions via e-mail were answered quickly. Our teenage boys were very happy with the activity.

It was a very Nice experience. Everything was good and friendly people.
