I’m very happy that I found out about your program. My son loves the classes, the books and the teachers! Teachers are awesome! He just finished third semester and we signed him up for summer session. And he jumped in reading from a level D to J in a very short time, you guys do a great job!!

My grandson has enjoyed this class. His reading has improved and I hope it will continue as we plan to enroll him in this reading program again. The teachers are the best and are very knowledgeable about there job and willing to assist in extra reading help. I wish class sizes was smaller so there could be more time for reading orally.

Where to begin?! I enrolled my son in the 8 week virtual class for 4 year olds and begining kindergarten. I was anxious about it as my son has a very difficult time adjusting to remote learning. Oh my, did I get such a surprise! The teacher is very knowledgeable and skilled in his craft. They also have a way of really engaging with each student, recognizing each of them for their participation, and keeping them motivated throughout the class. It's a perfect balance of fun and activities conducive to learning. As for the online lessons, they are presented as fun and games for the students while educating them. I think it's a big deal when a program like this can keep a child of this age focused and excited to learn. I had the privilege of watching my son simply blossom, not only as a reader, but as a student overall. Now for customer service. It amazed me that a program of this size was so immediately attentive. In addition to that, there was such understanding and genuine care. I even received a follow up phone call the next day just to see that all was well. They gave my son a great learning experience, but it doesn't stop there. As a parent I was given support and ways to better help my son advance his skills. We are certainly going to enroll again and (if it's not obvious already) I highly recommend this program to anyone. It's been a tough road during the pandemic and I had reservations about spending that much knowing my son isn't great with virtual learning. I can honestly say it was worth every penny and then some. A heartfelt thank you to the teacher and everyone that made this program possible.

I have 12 year old triplets and after several months of online learning they seemed to have lost their love or learning... I signed them up for the study prep to help them get ready for Middle school this past summer and it has made a world of difference!

If I could do anything over in my own education it would have been to learn how to study at a younger age! This course gave my kids a foundation that will last a lifetime!

Beyond that in this pandemic education world, IRD revitalized their love of reading as well as learning. I will be forever greatful and you have made a customer for life!!!

Small classroom format was helpful for class participation. My son really enjoyed the books and discussing the questions (i.e. learning critical thinking skills). This is our second lesson and are looking forward to more.

My daughter loves reading class! She has taken several of the classes and the Improvement is remarkable. She started off as a non-reader and now can recognize sight words with more confidence. We absolutely love this program!

Very disappointed ... especially when you try hard to help your child and customer service is not sympathetic with how you feel . I will never again have my kid in this program. First time was fine but God have mercy if you have a complain... They don't care. Yes they call you to let you know that you received an email letting you know that they will be off and the class is cancelled. OK no problem. When that class which did't take place will take place? Oh, yeah I was reminded that last week children had to read 2 books... and they talked about it. Pretty much they covered they bases. Shame on you! You were quick to take the money but not the responsibilities.

My son reads well but distance learning due to COVID-19 damaged his motivation. Reading a book for pleasure was suddenly boring. Although it will take time to undo the damage of months of screens, this program has provided my son high interest books and fun, upbeat, supportive teachers who are inspiring him to keep reading.

The virtual classes kept my child excited about learning and the book selection was great too. My daughter truly increased her reading level and comprehension for the new school year.

I was very excited to attend this program with my son and daughter as they entered first grade.This program is not what I expected it’s really just showing parents how to teach their own kids. The class is a hour and thirty min long once a week and the rest of the week the parent has to work with the child which is not a problem unless you have kids like mine. They didn’t want to read the book because they said it was to long they gave us a website to go on for more learning but it’s not helpful because instead of reading words it’s more reading pictures. My son who got to attend the program twice still has low reading and was held back a grade, as a parent it’s my fault as well but I am not the one to force a kid to read it should be a fun happy experience. I spent 600$ for both my kids and all it showed was for me to teach them not The reading program.

For my kid was so exciting to have this program because in my house everybody speak spanish so he really needs this skills to have a strong comprehension of the English leaguage. thank you so much for this kind of program.

My son was enrolled in the 5th grade reading program. Due to Covid, he did the program online. He enjoyed the sessions and the books they read. We chose to sign him up to help him with his comprehension and also to get a better grasp on his abilities as he is newly home-schooled. He loved the online discussions and it seemed to have sparked more of an interest in him to truly understand what he is reading.

If there is any area this program could improve in, it would be the writing component. It focuses mostly on adding details and better verbiage, which is great. However, there is little room for interaction or feedback from the writing coaches as it is suited for short response writing. Maybe this was our experience because the program we signed up for was shorter (about 6 weeks). It just seemed it was condensed into this short time frame. However, I would do it again; maybe this time, sign him up for a longer program (8 weeks).

Overall, we enjoyed everything and did appreciate the great feedback our son received from the writing coaches. I just wish the program was a little longer.

My son really loved the live class and the teacher was wonderful! He also enjoyed the online reading practice between classes! The books chosen for the class were really good and my son was excited to read them each week. Great program!

My daughter enjoyed the class ,and at the end of the class she even asked for a continuation of this reading program , and ask for something more challenging. since she’s a mediocre student, I am very happy to see these signs of eager to learn
