WARMING SCAM - I downloaded the app at the discounted price just to try out what it could do. Since it was not for me, I cancelled the next payment and received the confirmation that nothing else would be charged. Today, the monthly payment was taken from my bank account!!! I have send a complaint to the support but given all the negative reviews, not much hope.

Criminal and fraudulent behaviour with regard to unauthorized billing and cancellation but criminal complaints are going to be lodged and the national prosecutor will open an investigation.

If I could attach photos I would. They know what they are doing as evidenced by other reviewers. On 19 September 2026, in accordance with their hard to find terms and conditions, I emailed them my cancellation as per clause 4 in writing during the termination period. This was acknowledged in writing by them on 22 September 2026 stating that the “subscription” was cancelled. “You will no longer be charged.” Then at 5am on 26 Sep they send a receipt for 25 dollar charge and renewal of subscription with the alleged order ID.
They may respond and say they care but that’s a lie. They use AI bots and don’t provide contact details but my bank will deal with that. And a complaint to the regulator is pending. Finally, I intend to report them to Apple as their app is a con.

Scam, this is an utter scam, I signed up for the month for the service 9.99 I then cancelled straight away so I had the month free. They then took another 29.99 out of my account for a furniture service which I didn’t request. I contacted customer services which said nothing they could do. Be aware.

Although I unsubscribed buy sending an email as per their instructed way to cancel the subscription immediately minutes after downloading and finding the app not matching your expectation, they will keep on charging u without your approval, which against the law. You will send an email to explain they will keep in replying back and offering you a discount just not to proceed with the refund of the fraud payment.

App is bad and wanted to unsubscribe after 5 minutes. Then realised then have no subscription method other then sending the email. It’s is not linked to my Apple Pay as I thought . They are scammer. Please report to your banks so they can be flagged and presented from scamming others

There was supposed to be a free trail but I was still charged. The cancellation of subscription is also extremely tedious. Stated that verification code was sent to my email but didn’t receive anything. An email sent was not responded as well. Please assist asap as I do not want to be charged

I Downloaded the app with a trial period of 7 days and they charged my USD 6.99 it said I can discontinue anytime I want.
The app was really bad, i did not use it 5minutes and disconnected. Then i canceled the next day and received a cancellation confirmation. However, on the 7th day they charged me for USD 24.99, saying this was for the monthly planz i have written to them and they claim that even I discontinued my subsctiption, it does not discontinue it from the monthly subscription which is totally FRAUD-do NOT buy this app! Gangsterz stealing your money

However, on the 7th day they have charged me for USD 24.99, i have written to them and they claim that even I discontinued my subsctiption, it does not discontinue it from the monthly subscription which is just absurd. This app is not good as they claim at all.

It's misleading when you sign up for the app. After about 4 days you are charged for a similar named app, after you think you have cancelled it.

I strongly recommend staying away from Renovio.

I cancelled my Renovio subscription, and I received a confirmation email from Renovio on September 10, 2026, explicitly stating that my subscription had been cancelled and that I would no longer be charged.

Despite this, I was still charged.

When I contacted customer support and requested a refund, instead of simply refunding the charge, they offered me a 25% discount / $5 refund and encouraged me to continue using the app. I have repeatedly explained that I do not want to use the service and want a full refund for the charge made after I cancelled.

What makes this even more concerning is that there appear to be multiple separate subscriptions/upgrades associated with the service, and cancelling one does not necessarily cancel the others. This was not clear to me when I signed up.

Looking at the other recent Trustpilot reviews, I am clearly not the only customer experiencing unexpected charges, cancellation problems and difficulties getting a full refund.

I don’t want a discount. I don’t want another free month. I want the full amount charged after my cancellation refunded and all subscriptions completely cancelled.

Very disappointing experience and, based on my experience and the number of similar recent reviews, I would not recommend Renovio.

Terrible scam. Signed up for trial. Product did not meet expectations at all. Ended subscription. Then a few days after they charge me anyway. turns out they have added a subscription for 2 products - not clear information on this at all!!! stay way!!

This site is a total scam. Nothing works, no way to unsubscribe or cancel billing

This company is 100% fraudulent. I signed up for a 3 day trial and cancelled within an hour as the product did not meet my needs. They were prompt and replied confirming my cancellation then they continued to take a fee from my credit card for a further period at the end of the 3 day trial and they are not offering to refund me in full for their mistake. Beware of this company as this is simply not in accordance with their own terms

Extrem intransparent – mehrere Abbuchungsversuche nach nur ca. 15 Minuten Nutzung

Ich kann vor diesem Anbieter nur ausdrücklich warnen.

Ich habe Renovio lediglich ca. 15 Minuten ausprobiert und sehr schnell festgestellt, dass ich die Anwendung nicht weiter nutzen möchte. Unmittelbar danach wollte ich kündigen bzw. widerrufen.

Das eigentliche Problem begann jedoch erst dann: Eine klare und unkomplizierte Möglichkeit zur Kündigung sowie vernünftige Kontaktmöglichkeiten zum Anbieter sind extrem schwer zu finden. Ich habe letztlich wesentlich mehr Zeit damit verbracht herauszufinden, wie ich dieses Abonnement beenden und den Anbieter kontaktieren kann, als mit der eigentlichen Nutzung der App.

Besonders irritierend: Bei der Suche nach einer Kündigung stößt man im Internet sogar auf Seiten, die eine Kündigung gegen zusätzliche Bezahlung anbieten. Für mich als Kundin ist der gesamte Vorgang vollkommen intransparent und äußerst kundenunfreundlich.

Noch problematischer sind die Zahlungsversuche. Auf meiner Wise-Karte wurden unter „RENOVIO RENOVIO“* mehrere unterschiedliche Beträge angezeigt:

19,99 USD – Zahlungsversuch
weitere 19,99 USD – Zahlungsversuch
9,99 USD – weiterer Vorgang

Mindestens eine der 19,99-USD-Zahlungen wurde nur deshalb abgelehnt, weil auf dem betreffenden Konto nicht genügend Guthaben vorhanden war. Weitere Beträge wurden zunächst als ausstehend angezeigt. Die entsprechenden Vorgänge sind bei mir dokumentiert.

Ich fordere Renovio daher auf, sämtliche mit meiner E-Mail-Adresse verbundenen Abonnements unverzüglich zu kündigen, alle noch ausstehenden Belastungen zu stoppen und schriftlich zu bestätigen, dass keine weiteren Abbuchungsversuche erfolgen werden.

Sollten bereits Beträge endgültig belastet worden sein, fordere ich deren vollständige Rückerstattung.

Sollte Renovio die Angelegenheit nicht umgehend klären, werde ich die dokumentierten Zahlungsvorgänge meinem Zahlungsdienstleister vorlegen und die Angelegenheit erforderlichenfalls meinem Rechtsanwalt übergeben.

Nach meiner bisherigen Erfahrung kann ich Renovio aufgrund des äußerst intransparenten Kündigungsprozesses und der Zahlungsversuche nicht empfehlen.

Update folgt, sobald Renovio reagiert und die Angelegenheit vollständig geklärt ist.

I paid $19 for 8 months and i downloaded my sketch and nothing happened. Now the app doesn’t even know me and it keeps trying to charge again. Either the worst technical glitch or a complete scam. I’ll have to dispute it on my credit card.

First they are telling you that you have a week free period and after that you need to pay monthly subscription 6.93$. Immediately after you accept that, they skip free period and charge you with 6.93$. You can send report to them but they will offer you discounts and refund 1.73$ of 6.93$ they took you and if you continue to ask whole refund they will offer you another discount but never full amount.
EDIT: after all conversations, they refunded me the whole amount

What a terrible app - and so misleading. I signed up for the ONE OFF (clearly stated ONE OFF) fee for 4 days use to test it out and it automatically started a subscription after 4 days. Also, the app is completely useless. All it does is changes colours for a room with fixed palettes, and add useless accessories base on fixed themes. It is NOTHING like their ads. There is nothing smart about changing up a schematic and taking out the whole kitchen so there is NO kitchen in the entire house. Useless.
