Worst ever rent a car. No response and no service. They are cheating in the rent. I request all please do not take rent a car from them. You will suffer like anything by paying high rental.

It has now over a month and I am begging for my deposit. I have never ever seen such a disappointing rent a car service. Really bad

‏ They fail to honor any of their agreements, and the quality of the cars is extremely poor. The car didn’t even last a month before the battery failed, and it took them more than two days to come and fix it.

I rent a car for 14 days at 40 aed per day, and paid 1000 aed deposit, when I claimed the refund after 30 days from returning the car, to my big surprise the accountant deducted 350 aed for an extra day instead of 40 aed and 350 aed for car wash while I returned the car clean and 350 aed for car pick up while I was told it would cost 50 aed at the time of the booking.
And when I tried to contact them, nobody answers.

When I calling for refund money that time not receiving the call, after many time msg, calling for refund money then they are replaying and deduct all money.
I took the car that time told us pick and drop free but refund time he took 350 dhs for pickup charges and car wash charges is Only 35 dhs he has deduct 350 dhs,
I have returned the car neat and clean but he has deduct my deposit money because I haven't given bill Adnoc or epco or Emarat washing bill.
When you taking the car no any term condition but when you returning that time showing term and conditions and deducting all money.

I wish I could give them zero star. Hidden fees. Rude customer service. Aggressive manager. Liars. They give cheap promotion just to get hold on your 1000 aed deposit and they will charge you unbelievable fees like 290 aed day for very poor old Nissan sunny for forgetting to call for extension. Had to wait 40 mind for any of their rude employees to come and collect the car. Worst experience and still going on.

Given a car with cigarette smell and now not replacing it and not even taking it back.. I have put a complaint in DED.. never ever rent from them or Houston rent a car company.

One of the worst rent a car company. First of all they gave me a car without fuel which I couldn’t drive until petrol pump, secondly the head lights were not working n nobody was interested to replace the car. I would never go to them again

The car I got was very beaten up and did not start again after parking. (Battery issues)
I canceled the rental agreement and requested to pick up the car and a full refund. It took them almost two days to pickup the car and I am still waiting for them to refund my money and release the deposit. They keep stalling you through messages and don’t respond to emails. I submitted a complaint to the DET (Consumer Rights in Dubai) and hope I can get my money back.

Vary bad experiance.first thing car was not in good condition and after delivery they told you have to come to center and change the car. No information given at the time of delivery and when I asked about refund my security then they are sending term and condition screenshot which they took sign without explaining at the time of delivery.. car washing charges outside around 50 AED but they charged me for dirty car AED 350 which is not my fault because they collected car 2 days after end date finished that time car was already dirty, intentionally they came after 2 days. This is fraud company and they are making money. Vary bad experiance third class service. They are not even eligible for any star for fraud contract which they took sign from me without explaing anything and risk my life with car that rear focus light was not in working condition and left tyre bubbling sound.. totaly unfair money that i have paid and risked my life

I rented a car from Houston Rent a Car after seeing their AED 699 monthly offer on Dubizzle. Before taking the vehicle, I specifically confirmed the offer details with their team, including 4,000 km for one month and free pickup/delivery. I was also informed that the cleaning charge would be only AED 35.
Unfortunately, after returning the vehicle, the situation was completely different.
They asked for proof regarding the 4,000 km allowance, and I was charged/demanded approximately AED 350 for cleaning and another AED 350 for vehicle pickup, even though I had clearly been informed beforehand that pickup was free and the cleaning charge was AED 35.
Most importantly, my AED 1,000 security deposit was deducted, which I strongly disagree with.
I also questioned the different ter ok lolms in their receipt/clause book before accepting the car. Their representative assured me that the promotional offer advertised on Dubizzle would apply. However, after returning the car, different charges and conditions were presented.
My advice to anyone looking for a rental car in the UAE: please think twice before choosing this company. Don't be attracted only by the low advertised monthly price. Get every offer, mileage limit, pickup/delivery condition, cleaning fee and deposit deduction policy clearly written and confirmed before taking the car.
I have kept screenshots of the advertisement and my conversations with their team and intend to raise the matter with the relevant authorities.
One more thing I noticed while checking the reviews: there are many 5-star reviews, while some customers have reported negative experiences. I cannot comment on the authenticity of other reviews, but based on my own experience, I would personally not recommend this company.

They advertise the car at a cheap price, but once you contact them, they ask you to leave the car at their location and then charge AED 350 for pickup and charging.

This is completely misleading. The advertised price does not reflect the actual cost, and these additional charges are only revealed later. In my opinion, this is a misleading practice designed to make customers pay much more than the advertised amount.

People should be careful and confirm all pickup, charging, delivery, and additional fees upfront before dealing with them.

Do not rent from Moosa Rent a Car unless you enjoy chasing your own money for over a month.

I rented a Geely and returned it 5 days early — clean, undamaged, barely driven, parked at my home for most of the rental. My AED 1,000 security deposit should have come back within 30 days. Instead: total silence. No response to follow-ups, no explanation, nothing.

The only reason they responded at all was because I told them I was filing a formal complaint with Dubai Consumer Rights. Only then — 37 days after I returned the car — did their “accounts team” suddenly produce a deduction sheet: AED 350 for “car pickup” (a charge never mentioned to me at booking or handover), AED 350 for “car dirty” (the car was clean — this word never came up in person, it just appeared on paperwork afterward), plus VAT. Out of AED 1,000, they tried to hand back AED 123.20.

This is not a one-off. Search this company on Trustpilot and Tripadvisor and you’ll find dozens of near-identical stories — silence after return, then sudden made-up “cleaning” or “admin” charges the moment you push back or mention the authorities. That pattern, plus what happened to me, is exactly why I’m warning people here.

I’ve filed a full complaint with Dubai Consumer Rights (DET) with receipts, contract, and the complete WhatsApp evidence trail, and I’d urge anyone dealing with this company to do the same rather than accept whatever they offer.

Bottom line: if you value your deposit, rent elsewhere. If you must use them, video the car in full detail — timestamped, every angle — at both pickup and return, and get every single fee confirmed in writing before you hand over a dirham.

The company is located in Al Quoz 3, Warehouse 59, Street 6 and Equity metro 46M9+483-al qouz 3- Based on the information and experience shared with us, the location appears to be a very small office within a vehicle repair/warehouse facility, rather than a conventional car rental office.

There are also serious concerns regarding the return of customer deposits. Customers who have paid a deposit and are waiting for a refund have reportedly experienced difficulties contacting the company, including unanswered calls to the accounts department, receptionist, and other staff.

Therefore, I strongly recommend that you exercise extreme caution before renting a vehicle or paying any deposit to this company. If you already have an outstanding deposit that has not been returned, .
