REP Provisions is a direct-to-consumer meat delivery company. We raise grass-fed and grass-finished beef, soy and corn free pork and lamb. We also provide no-soy pasture-raised chicken. Hi Kayla, I’m so sorry to hear you aren’t happy with this delivery. As stated in the email we sent to you, your order was shipped in two boxes since it could not all fit into one box. We shipped both of those boxes on the same day. Unfortunately, once the boxes leave our warehouse, we have no control over them during transit. It looks like your boxes got separated in transit. Therefore, they were delivered one day apart. We wished we could control that from happening, but unfortunately we cannot. We are so sorry you didn’t receive them at the same time. The package protection is an optional service that we offer to purchase in case of delays causing the products to be ruined or lost packages. If you choose the package protection, you will be covered in full in case you encounter one of these situations. Unfortunately, because we ship perishables, our carriers release liability even when it’s their fault. This is why we had to implement this new package protection. We truly do appreciate you for the support that you have given our small family farms. It means the world to us!🙏🏻

This company has always been my GO TO for meats, or really anything they sell❗️That's because when Dad first started making the century old wood, cutting boards, there was a problem with one that I bought and they shipped me another right away as the first one was being shipped back to them. Packaged well and frozen
I was happy to get our package and to see how well packed it was with the insulation and dry ice. Everything came extremely cold. So far the meat has been great. I would cut the steaks a hair thicker though :)

Good flavor but horrible value
Good flavor but horrible value on the NY Strips. My second shipment of 10oz steaks ($25 per steak) once again came way under once you cut off the massive fat portion. These three steaks weighed 6.8, 8.0, and 8.8oz. So just for me the cost per dinner was $37. Stick to the primal ground beef which is fantastic and avoid the other cuts.

As I mentioned before, as noted on the paper we placed inside your box, as well as our website, we do ask to reach out to us with photos anytime there is an issue so that we can properly resolve a potential problem. As stated on our website regarding the steaks:

We try our hardest for consistency but these are part of the challenges of raising animals regeneratively and not conventionally. Conventional beef will almost always fit into a perfect mold each time, same size, shape, consistency, but for us that is nearly impossible. Each beef we deliver is grass fed and finished from the day it’s born to when it is harvested and this sometimes creates inconsistent sizes in the primal cuts amongst animals and may occasionally affect appearance, weight and thickness of individual steak cuts. But we do encourage reaching out to us with photos so that we can get a better understanding of what you received. It’s the only way we can understand if we sent something that we shouldn’t have. It’s also important so we can address it with our processor. Again, I’m very sorry about that Brandon. We truly do appreciate the support for our small family farms and regenerative agriculture. 🙏🏻

Hi Holly, thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m so sorry our ground beef wasn’t what you were expecting. We typically receive wonderful feedback on it, so we’re very sorry it wasn’t the experience you were hoping for.
Our 90/10 blend is very lean, and because our beef is 100% grass fed and grass finished, its flavor and texture can differ from beef that is grass fed and finished on grain. It can also overcook easily, so using a gentler heat cooking slow and watching the cooking time closely can help keep it tender and juicy. You might be happier with our 80/20 blend.
Regarding your steaks, grass finished steaks do have their challenges when cooking the perfect steak. Since we don’t feed any grain, consistency is difficult. It’s extremely difficult to make every beef finish exactly the same each time and it will vary from beef to beef due to genetic differences or seasonal differences in grass species they are grazing at the time. So although it’s the healthiest way to eat beef, and even though you may have had grass finished beef before, one grass finished beef may not always be as tender as the next. One way that can help maximize the tenderness of our steaks is by following our prep and cooking tips.
