FRAUDULENT SUBSCRIPTION with NO WAY TO CONTACT RIBBON

I purchased the Ribbon Kit there was no mention of a subscription and come to find out there are different choices for subscription of which none was given during the purchase. There is no Customer Service phone number and no address listed on their website. This situation screams FRAUD.

Hidden fees :(

Like everyone else is saying … They hide the required monthly fee. Not a real person in support — pre-generated replies. It makes sense why they don’t have real people in support as i can see after buying so many people complain and feel cheated by this but they’re still doing it.

Had to file with the credit card company for a refund because you can’t even return it and you can’t use it without paying the monthly subscription.

They have a $5 per month plan which to me is reasonable and I would pay that but they auto sign you up for a $20 / month plan. Honestly I would even pay the $20 IF they were up front about it. Nobody likes having the wool pulled over their eyes though and so I practice I refuse to support companies who do use tricky methods on customers.

Easy affordable testing with fast results

After receiving my Ribbon test kit I followed the directions and completed my first test. I was surprised as to how easy it was and how fast I received the results. Having the convenience of testing at home for me gives piece of mind without the hassle of making doctor visits and shelling out big dollars with the ability to download the test results. I can print them out and share the with my doctor if the test reveal areas that are abnormal.

I purchased a Ribbon Health Kit. Subscription disclosed only in order summary, not clearly at checkout

I purchased a Ribbon Health Kit for $89, expecting a one-time purchase based on the product description and pricing. On their pricing page, it only speaks to number of test kits. During checkout, the focus was on the kit price and total.

Only in the order summary was there small text stating that the Ribbon Web App is “Free for 30 days then $19.99 monthly.” There was no clear checkbox, acknowledgment, or explicit opt-in confirming that I was agreeing to a recurring subscription.

The subscription fee was easy to miss and not presented prominently as a required, ongoing charge at the point of purchase. I did not realize I had agreed to a monthly subscription until after the transaction.

If a purchase includes recurring billing, that should be clearly and unmistakably disclosed with affirmative consent, not embedded in secondary text within the order summary.

Everyone needs to know about this test!

I am a 67-year-old female. I bought this test mainly to watch my liver. I took my first test on December 30 and it said I had a UTI. I had absolutely no symptoms so I kind of dismissed it as maybe this just really isn’t very good. I tested two weeks later, and it showed that my leukocytes had gone up 50% in two weeks. I made an appointment with my doctor the next day and got on antibiotics. I never would have known I had an infection if it wasn’t for this test. It was very nice when I finished my antibiotics to be able to go back and test to see whether the infection was gone. It showed I no longer had an infection, but there was blood in my urine. I tested one week later and still blood but no change. I went to the doctor today, and there was blood detected and they have sent my urine out for a culture. Everyone needs to know about this test!

Peace of mind is invaluable

After a long hospitalization, this summer, as a result of Rhabdomyelosis that strained my kidneys, almost to the point of dialysis, I have become extremely vigilant about my numbers. I am very happy to have the ribbon urine test, as it gives me peace of mind, before my next bloodwork. The procedure is very simple, and results are immediate. There is a virtual doctor available to answer any questions that arise. I highly recommend this product!

I wasn't feeling great and before being…

I wasn't feeling great and before being able to get in to see my doctor, I saw the add for the Ribbon Check up and gave it a try. Shipping was fast and easy, and the procedure was clear and easy to follow.

The wait time wasn't much to get the results, just 2 minutes and super informative and easy to understand.

It put my mind at ease and dropped my worry stress level way down, and actually started feeling better right away. It must have been a mental thing! But I'm grateful just the same for the quick information on my health.

I AM NOW A HOSTAGE WITH NO WAY OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased a testing kit on 12/28/25 (order #243526). I did not want to continue
with recurring shipments of the product from the very beginning, so on 12/30/25, I emailed the company
at the email address they provided to tell them this, but on 1/28/26, they charged me another $19.99
for a repeat order, a recurring order for a subscription I told them I did not want from the start!!!

I emailed them to let them know the issue and I still have not heard from the company so I can get my refund for the transaction of the $19.99 on my card
and to cancel the upcoming the order shipment and any other recurring shipments they may have scheduled in their system.

This is just a crappy business tactic and they should not be in business!! I don't care what kind of product they offer. They make people feel like they have been taken hostage!
And what's with the absence of communication with their customers??? I have gotten absolutely NO RESPONSES from them besides an automated response from a third party handling their "reviews" department, saying they were happy I put up a review, even though it was not a good one and offered me another "deal" if I put up more stuff for them. I just want my money back and for them to LET ME GO!!!!

I am completely happy with Ribbon. It is so easy to use. Especially for the technology challenged! I was worried I wouldn't be able to actually figure out getting the results but it was a snap! I love that you can ask questions and get answers. So far totally happy with Ribbon.
