Richard Hughes Golf Avis

I am a PGA Professional - coming out of the pandemic, I had completely lost my game after playing at a high standard. I came to Richard to learn about and use the Force Plates. I have now been working with Richard for almost 2 years, the progress I have made is top class and I’m now playing the best golf of my career. I highly recommend Richard for lesson if you are serious about getting better. Thank you 👍🏻.

For more than a year now, I've been regularly attending coaching sessions with Richard and wholeheartedly recommend him to golfers at any level. Richard's expertise in the golf swing and various elements of the game is evident. Each session is fruitful, providing me with a clear plan for improvement. His coaching studio is top-notch, equipped with tour-proven technology and various training aids to maximize your learning experience. Beyond being skilled, Richard is friendly and easy to talk to, making the process both enjoyable and beneficial.

I've been having lessons off Richard for nearly 18 months now. They are always fantastic. He tailors the lesson to suit your needs and takes the time to understand what will benefit you. His coaching methods are insightful and informative. He makes the use of all the amazing technology he has at his disposal in his "dojo", this combined with his knowledge and experience make it fantastic. I am really enjoying Richard guiding me on my golf journey and can't wait to master what he teaches me before booking in for my next lesson. Thanks for all your help!!!

The facility was excellent prior to the recent lockdown, but it is now even better after further investment, including putting greens and more technology in the already high tech teaching bay. One consistent is Richards coaching skills and enthusiasm.

First class coach and teaching facilities. Fully commited to improving your game and explains the technical side of things clearly in language I understand! Fully reccomended.

My son has been working with Richard for a year or so - and what a year it's been! Richard quickly identified a crucial body movement/tendency that required improvement and has focused on that one thing. Keeping things clear, simple and enjoyable he has sought to challenge, discuss and listen - helping my son to understand his swing and how to improve it. He has a veritable tour bag of techniques and uses high tech kit to enhance the learning process (from his very well equipped studio). Really looking forward to carrying on the journey and watching him help my son achieve his golfing ambitions.

Rich is a brilliant coach who has continued to develop himself over the last few years. I worked with him as a junior many years ago and came back to his teaching about 2 years ago and him, the facilities he's created and the way he teaches keeps evolving. He teaches with technology where necessary and is brilliant at keeping things simple. I was stuck and playing bad golf until I went back to Rich 2 years ago, now I can't wait for the next lesson and he has brought my game on tremendously.

I'd recommend Rich to anyone looking to improve their game, a top, top coach and a great person too.

Richard’s knowledge is outstanding in so many areas of playing and learning golf. Regardless of your goals, Richard presents impactful information, in a clear and concise manor, that allows you to take meaningful action with instant results. Richard is at the forefront of using technology to support his coaching and through his vision, the Dojo (coaching studio) is a space where the art and science of golf truly meet. Thanks for sharing your awesomeness Rich

After being a golf professional for a number of years I needed a better understanding of my game, Richard has given me that and with that a better understanding of the golf swing itself it’s not only improved my golf but me as a professional also! Been with Richard over two years now and look forward to working with him for many more. Would highly recommend to any golfer.

Superb coach, was stuck in a rut for last few seasons and now I finally have proper understanding of my old faults and how to fix them, freed me up to just go and play and enjoying golf again. Had 2 lessons and gone from a 5 to a 2 handicap. Well worth a visit!

Really excellent facilities and coaching.

Richard was absolutely top notch.. explained things thoroughly and made an immediate difference to my swing and distance. Can't wait to get out on the course to test it out and back for more improvement

I’ve been a golf professional for 12 years and have taken lessons from a number of coaches but can comfortably say my lessons with Rich have exceeded them all. My game has improved immensely thanks to Rich’s ability to explain not only the causes of bad shots but create a clear path of how we can solve them. I have, and will continue to, recommend Rich’s services to fellow golfers with confidence.

I’ve been having lessons with Richard for 15 months now and my game has improved a lot during this time. I’ve dropped a few shots and feeling much more confident with all areas of my game and looking forwards to working on getting into single figures next year which I know will be possible working with Richard. Suited to all levels of golfer with a variety of technology and props to help with the training, highly recommended.

I’ve been working in my game with Richard for nearly 4 years now. Having regular coaching sessions with Richard has transformed my game from being a 20 hcp to single figures in the first 3 years. Richard is a superb teacher, he finds ways to explain theory which are easy to understand and then to further practice away from the studio. The teaching studio is one of the best in the country he has invested in the most up to date technology to help demonstrate and explain faults and ways to improve. Can’t fault him, great human being too 👍

I’ve been having lessons from Richard for many years and have always found his standard of coaching to be excellent! He’s very skilled in explaining concepts in a “user friendly” way so it is easy to understand! He uses the latest and best technology to help you understand all of the finer details of your golf swing! He’s coached me from a handicap of 40, as a junior, all the way down to 1.5 and there is still massive room for improvement and he always pushes you to improve and push boundaries! 100% recommend!

I have been having regular coaching sessions with Richard for over a year and would recommend him to golfers of all standards. As a coach it is clear that Richard has deep knowledge of the golf swing and various aspects of the game. Coaching sessions are always productive and I’m always left with a clear idea of what to work on in order to progress.
Richards coaching studio is first class, he uses “Tour” proven technology and has a number of training aides at his disposal- all designed to help you get most out of your session.
Richard is approachable and friendly, not only will he improve your golf you’ll have fun while doing it.

I have been working with Rich for a couple of years now and he has helped me no end in terms of my game and understanding of my swing. His passion for coaching is clear to see and he is always furthering his own knowledge and studio equipment to try and provide a better experience and help you get better!

I have been having lessons with Rich for nearly 4 years now. We have had an amazing journey together helping me go from a 12 handicap to PGA professional. The level of service is amazing, from complementary coffee in the depths of winter and water in the summer. Having access to Tour level analysis with the aftercare to match has been one of the reasons I have achieved so many golfing goals

Great teaching facilities and first class coaching. Always make you feel welcome.
