Richard Hughes Golf Avis

I was a struggling 17 handicapper and loosing my passion with golf and Richard was my last chance saloon.
Since May 2020 I’ve probably had 4/5 lessons and my game has transformed for the better, my playing handicap is now 10 and I’m back enjoying the game.
Richard made learning easy breaking down each part of swing and not over complicating things.
I’m now aiming to get down to single figures with Richards help.
Highly recommended, thanks again Richard.

I’ve had lessons with Richard for many years since I was a junior. The lessons are very informative and provide me with the information to help me improve. Would recommend to anyone looking for top quality golf lessons.

I have been having lessons for a few years with Richard and have always enjoyed working with him. He has massively improved my game. He is innovative and patient. Top man and a top coach.

Once again another fantastic lesson, I have bee working with Richard for a few years now and will continue with him because he has used technology to help me understand my swing and was to improve
Thanks Richard and I wish you all the best for Christmas and the new year

Richard is a fantastic coach and I have been working with him now for about 3 years. He has improved my game dramatically and reduced my handicap from 24 to 14. His video analysis and comments are detailed without being hard to understand and visiting him once a month is always a pleasure and a great help to my game. Would recommend to everybody.

Richard arrived late, finished our lesson early, and after reaching out numerous times to get a video summary of our lesson has completely ignored me, hope others receive a better experience than this.

UPDATE: Upon arrival, I informed the team I had forgotten my voucher and said I was happy to pay full price. It was kind of Richard to honor the voucher, however, that has now become an excuse in the reply below to justify the poor experience received, I would've rather rescheduled if I had known I would be treated differently.

Another really enjoyable lesson. It was my second one with Richard after starting to try and improve my golf this year. He is rebuilding my golf swing, stance and helping increase my confidence. Richard is a great coach; he explains what I am doing and gives me clear objectives to practice and improve, delivering in a way that helps me understand, but also help you stay engaged throughout the session. Looking forward to putting in to practice what I have learnt and seeing my game continue to improve! Thanks Richard

Excellent again, in one lesson Richard seemed to put 20-30 yards on my 7 iron.

I've just returned from my first lesson and found Richard very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable from the off. I hit a few balls and then we reviewed my swing on the 2 large screens frame by frame to check my posture and we were able to pick out a couple of exercises for me to practice to improve my swing length. As a beginner I feel Richard will be able to coach me to whatever level I want to get to and will certainly be booking more lessons.

Richard is a great coach for all abilities and ages. My children had their first coaching with him many years ago and the basics he taught them will stay with them forever. He’s recently been helping me completely remodel my swing and he’s done it with immense patience and good humour. He’s moved with the times and now uses technology to great effect. He’s built the golf centre from an abandoned golf range into the fabulous facility it is today. Highly recommended !!!

Really good follow up lesson as I had slipped back to my old swing, must practice more. Thanks Richard.

Richard has coached me for a few years now. He is excellent at analysing your swing and correcting your errors. He keeps the lessons interesting and never works on too much in one session. Top coach and a top man.

An excellent golf professional. I was impressed with his empathy and simple techniques to bring about improvement.

He has simply re-invigorated my love for the game which I had when I was much younger.

Great coach regardless of your ability. Highly recommended.

Had a few lessons now my ball striking has got better hitting better irons and woods.
