Some participants were unprepared which…
Some participants were unprepared which negatively impacted everyone. There were a lot of mobility issues which also negatively impacted the group as a whole.
There was not enough information given about how the trip would be conducted. Friends and family members never saw each other because they were on a different bus. This was not made clear.

The trip included everything one would want to experience in Europe. The meals, hotels, and tour guides were also a good choice.

Natalie our tour guide was knowledgable and attended to minute details.The 12 days maximized to include so many amazing attractions. Highly recommend the tour.

A definite bucket list tour but must be able to endure lotsssssss of walking!!!!
There were many operational disappointments with the tour which included lack of communication of pertinent info from ritz rep (Olga) and the tour organizer (grace)….
Many of us had never been out of the country before and communication of pertinent info was only done when initiated by the traveler….
It took days once we arrived in europe to even know who ‘Grace’ was! She could have made herself more visible….
Many questions asked of Olga were pushed off to Grace who ghosted us!
This trip involved an EXTENSIVE Amt of walking and his disclosure should b shared in the tour description!
Overall the you itself was a chance of a lifetime!!!

Poor planning for the excursions
Poor planning for the excursions. The time was too tight to enjoy the sights. Too many people were booked to feel comfortable when checking into the hotels. At one time we had to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor because the hotel only had 2 elevators and all tours were trying to check in. We spent a lot of time traveling on the bus and I was very disappointed that the bus driver was charging us for WATER!!! This was disturbing to me because we we told to give a mandatory tip and the tip instructions were mailed to my home… This was poor customer service from Ritz Tours. I also didn’t appreciate being booked in a room with double bed’s considering my wife and I never slept apart in 40ys. My wife and I vacation at least 2 times a year planning our trips. We decided to go with a tour vacation and we will never do the tour trips again. The tour sites were beautiful, our tour guide Natalie was great, but the tour organization, hotel booking and planning out the excursions timeline was poor.

Too much walking
Too much walking, you need to have mini vans to transport where the large buses are not allowed in city limits.
There needs to be more food choices or food selections at the dinners

Trip of a Lifetime
It was my trip of a lifetime. I think the tour guide (Lee), did an outstanding job. The other tour guide in Paris talked too much and too long. I was happy to see the arrangements made for those who had medical problems walking. I think they should have been told that a lot of walking would be involved before they went on the trip.

Our First European Tour
Our first European Tour; I had read the itinerary and talked with Company Representative; so was somewhat prepared. A lot of walking was required - that is okay; our destinations were very walkable cities; wish we had more free afternoons to walk and explore on our own; am an Elder, but pace did not bother me. I will not choose this type of tour next time because (1) it was too large (100 people is too many) if we had proceeded with our own bus, it would have been much easier since every bus had their own tour guide; (2) we waited in the airport 5 hours to “wait” for other travelers who were late; this put us on a tour scheduled to leave at 10-11 am at 3 pm; too long for anyone to wait for anyone; when I contemplated other flights, Company Rep expressly told me if I arrived after the 10 am time, I would miss the tour - okay. So, based on that info, in my opinion and to my disappointment, we should not have to hold the majority of the travel group for those that are late; plus if there was time to relax and enjoy the site, that was ruined because we did not have time; (4) with the number of individuals with mobility issues, there should have been more alternate means of transport if needed; (5) maybe because of the aforementioned events, our afternoons to explore on our own were truncated to 2 hours or less, much less time than I thought we should have had (except for first destination). I admit traveling can take you out of your comfort zone; and you take it, adapt and continue or you don’t and it’s not a pleasurable trip. In the future, and for my travel pleasure, I will choose a trip with fewer destinations and thereby have a longer time to really enjoy the sites. Overall, I really enjoyed myself; I enjoyed the sites; I enjoyed meeting the people in the countries and my bus mates. An outstanding mention goes to our Tour Guide Liming Pang; she was knowledgeable, personable, professional and helped us navigate the cities. She looked out for us; made sure she kept us within her view (which was not easy); and let us explore if she was assured we could handle it. Would I travel with Ritz again? Definitely - the more I experience, the more I learn, the better I adapt.

Enjoyed every tour taken but had no idea that so much walking was involved. I would have loved the opportunity to refresh myself with a shower before going on tours. A magnificent experience.

I went on a 12 days trip to Europe and…
I went on a 12 days trip to Europe and it was a bit much. I'm not knocking Ritz Tour because up to the trip time they did wonderful. I would say do not book a trip with almost 100 people. It left no time to enjoy the place. It was rushed. Maybe take into consideration the age of the folks taking the trip. The tour guides were wonderful; very knowledgeable. I did get to see all the main attractions and they were beautiful.

Wonderful experience
Ritz Tours is an excellent company to tour with. They are both professional and friendly.
Natalie was a phenomenal tour guide. The best tour guide I have ever witnessed. We had a wonderful experience in Europe. Only one thing, WAY too much walking. A lot of seniors go on your tours and this should be a consideration. I suggest omitting a few sights so that we don’t feel like we are rushing to and fro for 12 days.
I would definitely refer my friends to the tour but warn them about the walking.

Our family had an amazing time in Japan…
Our family had an amazing time in Japan under Ritz Tour arrangement. The hotel locations are very close to shopping mall and subway that made everything so much easier. The lunch and dinner were all very gourmet which had a variety of authentic Japanese cuisine experiences. The itinerary with the Shinkensan was my top reason to pick this tour which fitted well with the schedule and my two boys love it. All other sight seeings in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka were very informative with the well prepared patient tour guide, Hiro. Our return flight was cancelled unexpectedly couple hours before we left the hotel. Ritz Tour manager Lilian in US (weekend in US) and local tour guide went above and beyond to help us situated. It was truly a blessing! Not to mention the Ritz Tour Agent, Olga was so patient to address all our questions promptly before the trip. We will definitely recommend to any growing busy family with a peace of mind to enjoy a vacation. Two thumbs up!

My daughter and I went on a wonderful private tour of Bali
My daughter and I went on a wonderful private tour of Bali and Singapore in May. Our guide, Annie and driver, Wyn, picked us up at the airport and then again each day at the hotel and took us sightseeing. The hotels were lovely 4 and 5 star hotels. We went to many temples and palaces in Ubud then drove to Nusa Dua famous temples and stayed at the Hotel Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua where they had beautiful pools and the beach. We flew to Singapore where Jeffrey picked us up and took us on a full day of sightseeing including Marina Bay Sands, temples , Mosques and museums. We had plenty of free time another day for shopping and other tours such as a beautiful nighttime River Cruise to see the lights on the huge buildings and having a Singapore Sling at the famous Raffles Hotel.

Nathan our tour manager and our bus driver Domenic were excellent. Also, you folks do an excellent job of planning the itinerary. You did the same with our Japan trip we took in 2018. We definitely will use Ritz for a future trip. Thank you!

Ritz Tours are so professional and friendly. I’ve used them for Greece and Bali. I’ll be using again when I go to China 2024. I’ve referred many of my friends to the tours.

Overall a great experience our guide in Bangkok was Alice and she was outstanding!! The Hyatt was beyond expectations as was the hotel in Phuket-I would not send people to the one in Chiang Mei, it really is subpar of your brand. Also our guide, cant remember his name was awful-please do not use again- One more thing when in Bangkok one buffet is okay but 3 too many-do a cooking class or a luncheon in someone's home a much more richer experience

Tour guides for each country were friendly, reliable, very knowledgeable and really made this a great experience. Our tour leader Nathan did an amazing job as a multi-lingual tour guide, we got way more out of the trip than if we’d not had a multi-lingual tour guide. Would absolutely go on another joint Ritz tours/Peony tour in the future!
