Excellent service from Dominic Sellar. His professional experience is second to none. I was charged by police with dangerous driving that was going to land me to 2 years ban and a loss of my licence. As a new driver, my case was really bad. I got myself into a difficult position with my statement to the police partly because of my ignorant of legal matters. Excellent service throughout this stressful experience, Dominic kept me updated regularly, cant thank him enough, I faced a driving ban, Dominic got it reduced to 5 points and a relatively small fine! I was unfairly charged with driving my wife's new car without insurance, however, she had told me it was insured. It happened during stressful times. Also, I had six points from speed cameras that were from three years ago. I was going to loose my license for six months. But Dominic managed too fight my case and win, as a result I was admonished, saving my license. I really recommend Dominic.

In my case i was facing a charge of dangerous driving with a strong possibility of losing my licence. This was later reduced tp careless driving and after a hard fought court case on the day of the trial, Dominic managed to have what would have been a ban reducrd to 5 points and a fine. I got in touch with Dominic Sellar after acquiring 12 point on my licence in a short space of time and facing another 6 being added on top of that. After some quick online research, I realised there was a chance I could avoid a driving ban by putting forward a case of “exceptional hardship”.

I got in touch with Dominic and he helped me understand how the court hears and deals with these cases and how we could put forward a solid argument against a mandatory driving ban.

After a few phone calls and emails I knew what evidence I needed to show to strengthen my case.

I was very happy and relieved to receive a positive outcome after the hearing. The court accepted my plea of exceptional hardship should I lose my licence. After a brief hearing I was able to keep my driving licence meaning minimum disruption to my day to day life.

Dominic saved my licence

I can never thank Dominic enough for what he did. I was charged with careless driving on the higher end and as a probationary driver, would face revocation (i.e. licence taken and restart everything again). Without going into details, with all the evidence, all lawyers I contacted told me it was a very real possibility. Dominic however, was very calm, reassuring, and thought there was a chance to mitigate the punishment. He explained everything and was contactable at all times. He simplified and took care of everything. On the day, 7pts (which would be revocation) and £450, was reduced to 5pts and £300. The judge made a point of stating this. So without Dominic, my licence was as good as gone. He ultimately saved my licence and livelihood. He's a fantastic solicitor, and more than that, a brilliant person.
