Nothing was too much trouble and the explorer xl is awesome.

We have been looking to buy a roof tent for a while before choosing roof bunk. The customer service is excellent and Pete is really helpful and knowledgeable about the product.
We chose to have it fitted and the whole process was explained to us throughout, showing us how best to fit it and remove it.
Great nights sleep and loads of room within the XL.
The price is great too!

The pull out awning i purchased is a quality made bit of kit, easy to use and easy to clean when required.
Attaching the awning to the roof rack is easy and easy enough to remove the awning when not in use for a while. Quite easily used on other vehicles with suitable roof bars.

10/10 for the XL Roof Bunk. We had been searching for some time to make sure we was getting exactly what we needed for a family of 4 and a 6”6 husband. We search all types of the same products for the dimensions, quality and price. Then when we saw Roof Bunk the pros to this out weighed all the others. The style, the quality and the price ment we could purchase the extras so we got the thermal liner and the annex which was a fab idea when going in March for our first off grid trip.
Once we purchased there was an option to have it demonstrated so we chose that. When we arrived Pete was there with our Roof Bunk ready to attach to our truck. Pete was so friendly and gave us loads of information about how it was made and different options of where to go. Once he had got it in place he then gave us a full demonstration of how to use it set it all up as if we was in the field and also provided us with YouTube tutorials if we needed. We was so grateful for that since we was using it the same day off grid. When we got to our destination, and after being pulling out of the mud by the farmer, it took us literally 10 minutes! I was so impressed. No fighting or stressing, just 10 minutes. Both of us doing our bit and we could then just sit and chill without having the hours of set up for a normal tent and fall outs. We’ve had so many people asking us and all I can say is it’s great. We love it and it give us so much freedom to go on adventures. We get to stay by lakes and go paddle boarding with the kids or in fields with beautiful scenery and walks everywhere.

We’ve just purchased the roofbunk explorer XL and from the moment we ordered, we’ve been impressed. From the reviews, YouTube videos to the quick response from Pete with a calendar to book in, to arriving there and him fitting it for us! He showed us how to put it up and how to put it away. He really is fabulous. We all (me and 3 kids) got straight and had a lie down! It’s so comfortable and huge! We are so looking forward to many adventures in this roofbunk

Met these guys at camperjam. We’ve spoke about roof tents and we just loved the design of RoofBunk. We have the explorer soft shell and it’s really spacious. We love that the steps are under the enclosure and not exposed. We got excited and ordered the accessories too, the insulator for winter is a game changer.
It’s very easy and quick to assemble and take down. We love just packing up and going wild camping in it. Even in the Gail force winds it is very robust.
The team is very helpful and will always answer any questions very promptly.

Setup and Takedown:
Forget wrestling with complicated poles and instructions. This tent is incredibly easy to set up and take down, even solo! We opted for the free fitting and demonstration at the warehouse, which was a fantastic service. Pete was incredibly helpful and answered all our questions, making us feel confident and prepared for our first outing.
Comfort and Space:
With two kids in tow, space is always a premium. The Roof Bunk Explorer XL comfortably sleeps all four of us with room to spare. The mattress is surprisingly comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep for everyone. We even weathered a heavy downpour and stayed perfectly dry and cozy inside.

Brilliant company with the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Product is top notch, really good quality, easy to set up and so cosy and comfortable. We were debating between this and another well known brand, and are so pleased we went with Roofbunk.
