We are so pleased we found Royvon Playhouse in Bridgend.
Our Boston Terrier Mabel loved her training sessions with Alize. The training has been so valuable to us and we would highly recommend Alize as a trainer, she has such expertise and a special understanding of dogs.
Mabel can’t wait to get through the door when she arrives, the staff are always so great with her. The extra enrichment that dogs receive whilst in their care makes their day care and boarding services stand out from the rest.
We have booked two nights of boarding in June and Alize has tailored Mabel’s stay to her individual needs to ensure that she enjoys her time there.

Good people, great knowledge
Everything makes our experience great! Romeo's knowledge is second to none, he knows how to deal with every situation, Royvon take care of you and your dog, they are so conversational, so welcoming, always have treats (and poo bags) on hand...they make the whole experience so stress free.
We started with training and because of our confidence with Romeo and Royvon, Yuki stays there if we go on holiday and when we're away we regularly receive videos which again is just a super nice touch.

First time away from home
First time for my nervous boy who is not very sociable with other people. Although he only spent a few hours in your company he seemed his happy self at pick up time. I was happy to see a written update of his progress and photos of him outside playing with a ball. I’m sure I won’t be so apprehensive the next time he comes to stay. Many thanks J Watkins

Mali absolutely adores coming to the…
Mali absolutely adores coming to the playhouse the moment she's comes through the door she is smiling wants to play and shows her affection by jumping on the counter ready for what ever comes her way her confidence has grown she started really nervous and now it's like her second home i have taken her to two previous places where she climbed of a six foot fence and escaped and the a ate sofa because she anxious and bored
The second place didn't want to deal with her anxiety and said they couldn't handle her which really upset me because both places said they have had and handled malinois before
I brought her to Royvon and the staff were extremely knowledgeable about her breed and listened too concerns about the escaping and how intelligent she is (its terrifying how intelligent she is) but they reassured me they could handle her and help with her confidence the new found confidence even she's at home

Fabulous for dogs
My 2 dogs stayed there for 10 days and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. First time leaving them for such a long time and the staff gave us an update for the 1st day( they don’t normally do that) with pictures and an amazing description of what how they were and what they were doing along with pictures, we had updates from them every day and the pictures they took of our dogs were amazing to see as we could see how much they were enjoying themselves(have now bought them a pool).Springers have so much energy and they spent so much time with the 2 of them giving them plenty of exercise, I think the dogs were glad to come home for a rest. The staff are amazing and so friendly it is just a fantastic place for dogs

Brilliant staff!
Jude has been a frequent visitor for over two years anything from half day "play days" to residential but recently he was in for his longest ever stay.
Thankfully, he loves the place and adores the staff. He is big and bouncy and they are amazingly good with him. He only has to see members of staff and his tail starts wagging!
Because it was a longer stay than normal, we were a bit concerned but the daily reports were a total reassurance and it was lovely to see photos of him enjoying himself,

My dog Griff was so reactive to other…
My dog Griff was so reactive to other dogs , but since having some boarding and training he is much better. I can walk him where other dogs are and he is much calmer. Still not there yet but will be in no time at all. Griffs loves going there and spending time with the staff. I wouldn't send him anywhere else, I have tried many dog trainers and no one comes close to Alize and her staff at RoyVon Brynmenyn, I am so happy that I found this place, because I know he is safe there when I go away.

Our dog spent a week at Royvon Merthyr
Our dog spent a week at Royvon Merthyr. The staff were wonderful. On arrival she met with Steven. Her room wasn’t ready and Steven spent time playing with her. We had daily updates and photos. She looked happy in every one. She had an hour’s woodland walk each morning and an hour’s play every afternoon. When we picked her up she was running from us to Steven. It was obvious that she was happy there.

It's such a pleasure to write this review. We were going on holiday and the kennels our labrador Lola was familiar with were closed. We were so fortunate Royvon could accommodate us. Booking residential training while we were away was the best decision we could have made considering Lola’s turning 4 soon. The staff/trainers were fantastic from day 1. Having regular updates, pictures and videos only confirmed Lola was having a fantastic time. I was so happy to see my girl. I could tell Lola was a bit sad on her last day and saying goodbye to her trainer Anna. I was also pleased to get a 'handover', tips and advice to continue training.
