Visited the Nantwich store and the man that helped me was so helpful, I tried lots of trainers. The ones I chose were a light colour so he showed me the colours he could order. I chose a navy pair. Got a phone call six days later to say they had arrived but a different colour had been sent, because the ones I wanted weren’t available. I was sent a photo of them but wasn’t keen on that colour and I said I would like a refund so on the Sunday I went back to the store for the refund which is 40 mins away from my home and encountered a very rude member of staff called Jordana. She said the right colour had been ordered now and they would be in in a few days. I said Ive managed to order them from another company and her words were ‘ouch’. But no one had informed me that the right ones had been ordered. She said she had been too busy to phone me. When I went into the shop there was only one customer there and another two members of staff standing around.
Every time I tried to talk she cut me off. She was even rude to another member of staff who tried to help me.
Such a shame that what started off as such a good experience was spoilt by this one person.
She said she didn’t know I was coming in for a refund but I’d told the man on the phone I would be in at the weekend to get my money back, maybe the staff need to communicate with each other more

After a rocky start to my running journey with another local shop who misdiagnosed my gait, I tried out running bear and was not disappointed.

Huge shoutout to Sophie, Jordanna and Matt at the Alderley Edge store for working with me to find the right pair of shoes to suit my feet.

After a couple of different pairs and some lengthy troubleshooting over time we managed to work out exactly what I needed to stop me getting blisters and running comfortably over distance.

I couldn't recommend them any higher, absolutely gold standard when it comes to running expertise/knowledge and finding the right solution for you.

Purchased men’s 2 xu joggers. Great material comfortable and well made. Leg length is about 1 inch short!

Akkeal was super nice and was able to do a gait analysis for me even though it was mega busy. He was able to find me 3 pairs of shoes within 5 minutes that suited my running style. He even gifted me 15% off as it was my first proper pair of running shoes. Will definitely be heading back soon for more supplies even though it is a long drive to the shop.

I continue to shop for my socks at RUNNING BEAR because of several reasons:
The staff, should I ever ring, are always friendly and do not rush my calls.
I feel like a valued repeat customer.
The running socks I swear by are always in stock in my size and in a range of quirky colours.
The prices and deals in my opinion are value for money.
Delivery through my letter box is prompt.
I have never received damaged goods or goods I am not 100% satisfied with.

I met a lovely running club member at Nantwich who also works in store at Alderley Edge. I cannot thank her enough for her sales advice and help to join the running club around Cheshire.

Great and amazing quality of brands and products. A few of which I purchased and look forward to.wearing in the next month when it gets warmer outdoors. I look forward to seeing her and others out running and instore as well.

Brilliant shop, Staff very friendly and knowledgeable, they ordered my running shows and phoned me a couple of days later to say they had arrived, also coffee shop is the place to meet friends and fellow runners.
