The initial contact with Rustic Borneo was excellent. Fast, detailed and tailored to what we wanted. When we arrived we were greeted by our private driver and all the trips we booked onto surpassed our expectations. All the guides were passionate and knowledgable. However, as the trip went on we did feel some of the standards slip and the hotels and restaurants we visited weren't what we felt were unto the standard or price we had paid. It was a shame as it all started so well but it did dip at the end.

My Husband and I spent our Honeymoon in Borneo utilising Rustic Borneo's Travel itinerary. We had an amazing time! Every aspect of our trip was seamless, and extremely prompt. All the staff that we encountered were extremely polite, professional and helpful.

We had one day on our trip that didn't go quite to plan, but Rustic Borneo changed our travel plans immediately with no hassle.

We rate the operating standard of Rustic Borneo extremely highly and we are hoping to be back in Borneo utilising their expertise again in the near future. Definitely a 5/5!!

Det eneste, der var ved at gå galt, og som jeg orienterede Peter om i telefonen fra Kuala Lumpur var, at Rejseeksperten, der stod for de lande flyvninger, ikke havde orienteret os om, at afrejsetidspunktet fra Kbh til Singapore var skudt en god time frem, så hvis vi ikke ved et tilfælde selv havde opdaget det, kunne vi være kommet for sent til maskinen.

Our experience with the booking personnel, and the personnel at our holiday destinations were a real pleasure from start to finish. Everything was clear, on time, and worked like clockwork. The recommended destinations and visits were amazing and moving from one location to another was flawless!

Vi havde 3,5 uge i KK, helt fantastisk tur, Rustic Borneo, stod for det hele og det spillede hele vejen igennem, vi var bla. på en helt vild flodtur (kinabatagan Wetlands Resort) og så det vilde dyreliv.

Great company. Really helpful before our trip and everything worked well from the moment we landed. Great guides and prompt efficient transfers. Helped us to enjoy northern Borneo's wildlife and hospitality.

Vi köpte nio dagars resan "Danum Valley, Sköldpaddor & Djurliv" och den var fantastisk. All logistik fungerade perfekt, vi blev upphämtade vid de tider som var sagt och de boenden som var bokade var mycket bra, det var väl bara Selingan som var lite spartanskt, men det gick inte att bo bättre där. De guider som vi kom i kontakt med var kunniga och trevliga och en fördel var att vi var max 4 personer på en guide. Allt fungerade till perfekt, så vi kan verkligen rekommendera att anlita Rustic Borneo Travel.

From the very get go this company was amazing. Nothing was to hard for them to organise or alter to our liking. They responded extremely promptly to any of my e mails. Me and my best friend had absolutely amazing time. All the accomodations were so much better than we thought. The price was very good if not cheaper than it would be if we booked it ourselves. We were scared that we will be stuck in big groups or people touring with them, however that was not the case. We were driven everywhere privately. All our tours and attractions were just for us plus a guide. All of the guides spoke great english and were just such amazing people with a whole lot of knowlege.

I cannot thank you guys enough. I traveled a lot and this was definately my best holiday for the best price. I am and will recommend you to absolutely everybody and even though i know how to operate in the country, i am positive that i will be booking through you next time as well. Once again thank you Rustic Borneo and thank you Joe for being such an amazing person helping us with every detail.

Jeg faldt tilfældigt over Rustic Borneo Travel, da jeg begyndte at forberede vores tur til Borneo. Fik altid hurtige svar på mine mange spørgsmål og det var en stor lettelse at korrespondancen kunne foregå på dansk. Er meget tilfreds med at vi lod firmaet tilrettelægge vores 3 uger på den fantastiske ø for ALT klappede perfekt og vi kan ikke sætte en finger på noget. Vil til enhver tid anbefale Rustic Borneo på det varmeste 👍

We had made our own reservation at a dive resort, and rustic borneo created a custom safari package around our dive arrangements, with perfect accommodation, transportation, and the best guides we have ever had.

Joe organised a great itinerary for us meeting all our requirements. Everything ran smoothly from transport to hotel and trip bookings. The accommodation suggested by Joe was perfect in terms of location and facilities. The companies selected by Joe to deliver our requested activities were well organised and excellent. We would recommend Rustic Borneo to anyone looking for a tailor made trip to Malaysia.

Everything was very well organized and planned. All connections were on time and efficient. We particularly loved Lankayan Island!

Absolutely fabulous - not to be missed. The lodges were all good and the cruises in the Kinabatangan River were interesting and exciting with all the wildlife we saw including 6 species of hornbills, orang-utans, and numerous monkeys. The accommodation and meals at Danum Valley were first class as was all of our tour guides.

Rustic Borneo were very accommodating with how we wanted to plan our holiday and flexible with our itinerary. The information provided was very clear, overall we were extremely happy with our tour. Would highly recommend the two guides that were allocated to us. Rusli and Kenneth were both extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and a lot of fun. They were the "extra cream" that contributed to it being a wonderful fun holiday

Alt fungerede. Guiderne er meget dygtige og med baggrund i lokalområdet. De er tilmed engagerede og kun ude på at videregive de bedste oplevelser.
Hele firmaet er meget serviceminded, ikke mindst kontoret i Kota kinabalu.

Vi var 2 familier på ialt 8 personer, der rejste til Malaysia og Borneo. Først 3 dage på egen hånd i Kuala Lumpur, derefter 2 dage i Borneo Nature Lodge samt afslutningsvis 6 dage Shangrila Rasa Ria i Kota Kinabalu.
Alt var perfekt tilrettelagt, guider i Lodgen (især Adrian) var bare fantastiske. Vi har absolut intet at klage over.
