Impressively efficient
Recently signed up to make some sizeable foreign currency exchanges for business. It was very easy to set up an account, extremely easy to use and remarkably fast in processing the exchange and paying out the proceeds.

Fast, efficient, helpful, and a good rate.
After a little messing about registering, because of my VPN, the registration was easy and my first transfer took just a few minutes. Next day the VPN was resolved too. For me this is exactly what I wanted - a fast unobtrusive trading system.

Learning from a mistake
The measure of any business is how they DO / OR DO NOT resolve problems.
They "misplaced" a £15 K Payment from us, never arrived with our supplier, got stuck in THEIR banking.
Customer care is about sorting out issues, when you do not have issues it is called "providing the service you advertise" It does not matter how many transactions go smoothly it is how your sort out the ones that do not.
After lengthy discussion I feel they have learnt something here and hopefully no one else will have this type of problem.

Lawrence, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Rutland FX and it’s banking partners have an obligation to follow the rules and guidance of the Financial Conduct Authority. As a result on some occasions payments meet the criteria to be held for additional screening. The current regulations and the sensitive nature of the screening process mean that we are limited in what information we can share however once the screening process is complete your funds will either be dispatched to the beneficiary as you originally instructed or returned to your bank account. We can only apologise that it is taking longer than you expect. Once we have an update regarding your payment, we will contact you immediately.

Spammers
This company has spammed our company for years... no idea where they got our details from, but the spam is sent to "guessed" email addresses using full names from our Companies House entries. We wondered whether they would ever stop but they continue unabated... today's email is re-forwarding their spam from April for example.
Having worked in the City myself for 2 decades I'm surprised any self-respecting FX broker has to rely on spamming potential customers using unverified personal data, either scraped from Companies House or bought from a third party, presumably that's not an FCA-approved method of communicating?
EDIT: After I posted the above review, Rutland asked for more details - I provided their sender's name and email address (their own email domain, not a third party marketing company), and my company name. Rutland ignored this and immediately complained to Trustpilot and asked for the review to be removed despite it being accurate and genuine. I provided evidence and Trustpilot verified the review as genuine.
As for Rutland's comments below - I'm not clicking on any link in a spam email, that's a great way to get a virus. I already did complain to the sender email about their spam and it was ignored. This review remains a firm 1*!!
