To be honest it is with regret that I have to give it one star. But feel I do not have any choice due to the very poor customer service.

I had 6 windows and a door fitted at the beginning of July. At the time I would have given 4 stars, but delayed reviewing as one of the panes of glass was cracked (hence the loss of one star). However from there it went down hill.

It only took only 4 weeks for all the windows and a door to be manufactured and installed. BUT it then took multiple E-mails and phone calls, and over 4 weeks just to get the one pane of glass repaired. Whilst the time wasn't an issue, the fact I had to keep chasing it up, and I kept getting told someone will sort it out and contact myself, and no one did, suggested someone (customer service or management) had no idea what good customer service was all about.

I doesn't stop there, It has now taken multiple phone calls / E-mails and 14 weeks, and I still do not have a receipt for the money paid, and no Certass certificate.

It has got to the stage that Safeglaze are forcing me to seek advice from Trading Standards and possibly go to Small claims court, just to get what should be a VERY simple thing which should have taken them about 2 minutes to sort out / post off to me.

Hence I can only give one star to a company which refuses to complete the most basic of tasks.

My advice. Do not pay them until everything is completed. and you get a receipt off the installers, even if one pays over the phone, by credit card.

Absolutely appalling from start to finish - The surveyor was the only knowledgeable person I have had contact with.
I have with held payment until the daylight either side of my patio doors disappears and I can actually open and close my windows which were poorly fitted and some even with the handles upside down and with faulty mechanisms. The outside of my once lovely stone work now is decorated with green filling foam and what architrave they did put up has lasted 2 weeks in the rain and fallen off. And don't start me on Data Protection........ saving that one for later.

We rang up for a quote someone come out was very helpful and knew about the materials he then gave us a price and said he will book a surveyor to come out to the house, the surveyor then come out and all of a sudden 800 pound was added on due to scaffolding and lintel which we mentioned in the quote we would need and it was added on. We then cancelled our order due to them adding money on we have now been waiting 3 months for our deposit back. We received an email yesterday stating we will receive it today still don’t have it so we rang up again to be told they will pass it on!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

From start to finish SafeGlaze UK have been a fantastic company to deal with. The guy that came and did the initial quote was professional and knew the product well, he was friendly and not pushy at all, there was no hard sell. I received all of the information quickly and a time scale and plan of what was going to happen. The scaffolding arrived on time and was put up effectively and without disruption. The installation team turned up on time on the day that I expected, the two guys that fitted my windows were friendly, worked really, really hard and installed my windows without any issues. I am delighted with the windows, they have totally transformed my house, I have already recommended SafeGlaze UK to one of my friends. Brilliant windows, brilliant company to work with and excellent after sales. I would certainly recommend them to fit your new double glazing, a great product, windows that will not cost you the earth, brilliant quality and excellent finance package.

Was given a quote for 6 new windows that we was really happy with. Was told they fit from the inside so no need for scaffolding around the house so we booked and was told it would be about 4 weeks for fitting. We then got a phone call about 4 weeks later saying the surveyor had picked up that we needed scaffolding and there would be an extra charge of £1200 then when I said we couldn’t just find another £1200 and that it was ridiculous they gave me attitude, cancelled the order then told me there is no reason for me to contact them again.

Pushy, pushy, pushy. Don't let them in your house. Big mistake.

Just had someone at my door trying to sell double glazing as they were working up the street. Didn't introduce himself or the company or anything, just asked if I owned the house or was it council as soon as I opened the door. Apparently there is a government scheme to fund A rated windows, which is a total lie (I've checked, this stopped years ago). Told him we weren't looking to upgrade our windows but he wouldn't take no for an answer. He said our windows weren't A rated, which I have no idea how he would know this without looking? He asked when my husband would be home (excuse me??) and he would call back later. I asked for a leaflet, was told they don't have any, I said I would check the website out when we were ready to update our windows, was told there isn't a website (again, I've checked, there is a website...). He asked if we were looking to update our windows, I said we weren't, he asked why. Then asked if we couldn't afford it, at which point when I said we could not he was off. I found the "sales rep" to be extremely rude and aggressive, and used lies to try make a sale. I would not trust this company based on the experience today, given the aggressive and lie-filled sales tactics used.

Ordered a new front door in june with expected fit 1st week of august. waiting several weeks for an acknowledgement of order and further weeks for a fit date. After leaving messages and emails with no reply the sales consultant Finally got us a fit date and am slot for last week in august and confirmation in post. Waited in as expected between 8-10 am. nothing called and eventually got through to be told it had been changed to pm and i should have been told, they would be withme 1pm latest. now having to call in work and take time off. 1pm came, no one. called again and emailed , they are on route and will call with eta. no calls 3pm, call again nothing they can do told to sit and wait they would get the depot to call me... still no calls 4.30 they arrive. with the wrong door. they would fit this one, if we liked it we could have it discounted or they would return to replace with the correct one. No thumb turn either. and the square glass sections are all wonky. new door would ordered. emailed again.n/a. within the first few days the handle is really loose. no calls no emails in reply. 2 weeks later no contact, again sales guy got someone to call us. door would be 1 week and they would arrange for change over, we stated it would have to a saturday, no problem. 2 weeks no contact. called last week to say door ready and they would be out monday. we work!!!!!! managed to arrange for this to be possible and would require a call 30 min before hand. they arrived without calling so were not able to fit and returned later after calling first. all changed, fitter left. lock loose the glass is wonky, the door is wonky.? damage to the door. sent email! next day get a call to be told we refused payment. Not at all, payment not requested. however with the issues we think need resolving first. told to email pics, in meantime the lock spinning and unable to get out of house. resolved by neighbors using the key from the outside. emailed, no call. receive an email saying we should have answered their call (1 missed from a private number) get a call the next day, an engineer would be out wednesday and they have a picture of damage (but we had not supplied one)!!!! We work!! we could however do wednesday (yesterday) after 3.30. they turn up at 2.45, i made them wait as i had to collect daughter from school. lock adjusted he said it is meant to spin im not stupid it was loose and spinning freely which is not right. they have filled and painted the damaged areas. my new door is no longer new.. and told that the door will need to be taken off and the frame adjusted. but will have to come back next week, another day off work. this morning i leave the house, thumb turn feels excellent. shut the door behind me. put the keys in and spin, spin, spin. i returned from the school run worried it wasnt shut properly. tyring again but recorded it. emailed this and was called to say that jingling of my key could have caused the damage. the keys dont touch the door and i am in no way forceful. the lock is not working and was previously doing this inside. Very rude and impolite. sick of the whole thing wish i went somewhere else. Ridiculously appalling customer service from beginning to end

i have been waiting over 2 weeks for my door to be completed it came without the thumb turn? and no plate to cover the locking mechanism in or out, some one came to do but sent wrong plates or the lock, thumb turn was fitted so no longer in a fire trap. there was damage done to the right of the door and they tried to fix with a coupe of tacks, tiles broken in w c retiled as man said he can do, but all uneven and also mastic on my carpet by the door. I have rang so many times without being able to make contact finally got through yesterday no one in dept said il be home after 4 pm if they can ring me , did they what a joke bad customer service I was going to do windows but no way now

We were really impressed with the service and quality of the product.
They came when they said they would and carried out the work efficiently, clearing all the rubbish away when finished.
Workman was polite and friendly and the standard of workmanship was excellent. We are confident that we will use this company again for our next replacement windows.

After reviewing other companies Safeglaze was 1 of 2 companies to respond to our needs ad we chose Safeglaze after some research, we found them to be informative and helpful, and when our door was due to be fitted the fitter was polite, curtious, and helpful to our questions, totally happy with our new door and a few positive comments from neighbours, any future replacement doubleglazing Safeglaze would be our first phone call,

Must say very impressed with Safeglaze from start to finish straight talking from the salesman Jack, the surveyor who got the measurements spot on to the fitter who arrived on time as arranged fitted the door made sure everything was working and cleaned up before he left.
Would recommend this company if you need windows or doors fitting.

The lads arrived early then the scaffolding was put up quickly they worked all day and just go on with the job. I have 2 massive dogs and the lads were a bit apprehensive at first; but were OK once they got to know them. The lads put dust sheets down and worked all day into the early evening until the job was done. Very good workmanship and very friendly couldn't ask for a better couple of lads to work on our house. The windows and door look lovely really pleased with the job and quality.
