Con artists with a bad product, avoid.
The platform does not include real job titles, only a short list of generic titles. While they made it clear that you could only search by these generic job titles, it was not made clear that they did not include this most basic information in the download. The training person was not sure but reassured me that I could simply cancel if they weren't there. When I confirmed that Salesgenie was missing one of the most important pieces of contact data, they charged me for one month for the 5 names I downloaded. Very deceptive practices and insisting on sticking you with a bill for 2 min of use shows that this is a scam company.

Initially, it was frustrating. I tried to call the toll free number on the website. The number was not “in order.” I utilized the chat and eventually connected with someone who called me. It was perfection from there. Our list was reasonable and our rep was great!

I had an extremely disappointing…
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Data Axle. The biggest issue was that the length of the agreement was not transparent. I did not realize I was committing to a nine-month contract, and I believe that kind of term should be disclosed clearly and prominently.
On top of that, the cancellation process is unnecessarily difficult. A company should be transparent about its contract terms and make it easy for customers to cancel when appropriate. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Data Axle.

Great customer service. Anita, Mark and Jeremy are fantastic. They're always quick to respond and been very helpful to our technical team. We evaluated several of their competitors, and the customer service was better and at least 3x quicker than the closest one.

No Job Titles are Available in SalesGenie.
As amazing as it sounds, Salesgenie does not contain any job titles. They roll all titles into about 15 general categories (CEO, VP, Manager, etc.) and that's it. So if you are trying to target a specific job title, you are out of luck. And they hide this from you. I tried a demo with 5 names, but you adownload them to see if you get real job titles. You have to sign up to download, and once you discover the flaw, you are on the hook for the first month...no refunds. So don't waste the $150 - $200, find a platform that includes job titles!

Not Worth the Investment
Our experience with Salesgenie (Data Axle) has been very disappointing.
We subscribed because we needed reliable homeowner contact information for our cold-calling campaigns. Unfortunately, many of the records we received didn't include a phone number at all. Of the records that did have phone numbers, a large number were disconnected, invalid, or simply did not work. This resulted in our team spending countless hours calling numbers that led nowhere.
We contacted customer support multiple times, and one of our team members requested credits for several unusable lead lists. While they explained that some phone numbers were located in different columns and later introduced a cell-phone-only option, the overall quality of the data still did not meet our expectations.
It was also difficult to get in touch with our account manager. Getting responses often took longer than expected, making it frustrating to resolve issues or get the support we needed.
When we decided to cancel the service because it wasn't working for our business, we were informed that we still owed money on a date we were not expecting. We believed we had fulfilled our commitment, so the billing and cancellation process was confusing and frustrating.
Overall, we paid for a service that did not deliver the quality of data we were promised. Between the missing phone numbers, the large number of invalid contacts, the difficulty reaching our account manager, and the challenges with canceling the subscription, our experience was extremely disappointing.
Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this service to businesses that rely on accurate, high-quality contact data and responsive customer support
