This is the worst palletways delivery…

This is the worst palletways delivery company on earth
Staff at sittingbourne rude and unprofessional. The driver refused to put two pallets on my drive which was 3 foot from his tail lift using an electric pallet truck due to health and safety but was happy to block a public footpath instead.
Palletways you need to ditch this company I for one will never use this company again

Entering a residential area

Entering a residential area, the driver bypassed a keep left bollard by taking the right side of a pedestrian refuge island, shaving off a mere five seconds from his journey. With schoolchildren potentially around, this could have led to a disaster. I reached out to Salvatori to report the incident but, unfortunately, haven't heard back from them.

Great service

Delivered when they said it would be delivered. Very nice driver, Ben. Went above and beyond due to awkward pallet. Appreciate the service!

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless. Repeated atttempts to deliver to the wrong postcode despite being contacted by the sender to correct their system. Fobbed off with excuses. Deliveries missed. This company represents everything prehistoric about the logistics trade and a complete unwillingness to move with the times. Avoid.

Dreadful, dreadful company

No less than THREE missed delivery appointments, no courtesy call to say we're unable to make it today and these were booked in for a specific, agreed date - I simply will not use this firm again, or any retailer who uses them as final delivery operator - this isn't the first time we've had these issues with Salvatori so enough is enough - DO NOT USE!!!

Dangerous, inconsiderate driver…

Driver ignored a keep left bollard coming into a housing estate. He went to the right of a pedestrian refuge island, saving himself all of 5 seconds. This is when the kids are off school & could have been catastrophic. I've reported it to Salvatori, but alas, received no acknowledgement.

Two poor deliveries, one missed collection

Two deliveries, both reflective of the company's incompetence and general inability to accept accountability.

On both occasions the items took an inordinate amount of time to unload (1hr+ for 2-3 pallets), were partially damaged, and seemingly met with an intransigence on the part of the driver (who barely seem to understand physics and how they should use a hydraulic pallet truck). Ultimately it required our invention to get the goods offloaded from the truck.

A subsequent collection - agreed over the phone with the driver - has failed to materialise. Both driver and depot aren't responding to calls and we now have expensive products sat exposed on our drive during bad weather; based upon other reviews I expect Salvatori will also fail to acknowledge any liability for damaged returned goods as a consequence of their no-show.

Awful service, awful company.

Missed delivery and lack of culpability

The delivery was booked for 26/10 and confirmed by email.
At the end of the day (26th) we called the depot to find out why there hadn't been a delivery - an non descriptive excuse of an "Agency driver" was given.
We were given an undertaking to get delivery early next day as we explained that tradesmen were booked to start 27/10 and would charge for their time regardless of the materials not being on site.
Called early 27/10 to be told that it was in fact the last delivery of the day (27th) and therefore probably at back of the lorry.
No apologies, no acceptance that their error was causing angst and significant cost.
Avoid using them as it's clear that they do not care about improving.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Great communication. We are a sister E-commerce company of Salvatori and use internally to deliver pallets to our customers. We are a genuine customer of Salvatori through the Palletways partnership. We can't fault the service, our items are large and bulky, with customers often in really difficult delivery areas & our customers are always happy. If there are ever any issues we are informed along with our customers.

LOST £1000 worth of goods, they were paid to transport

Paid to ship goods back in August 2018. Now January 2019 and they are offering to pay out under half of the value that was shipped!

Claim that they "Lost" and entire pallet - I suspect that the goods were stolen and that the directors and owners are aware it's happening and don't care!

The value of the goods shipped was £1000. I paid for additional insurance cover and I am still getting screwed over!

To this day not a penny has been paid to us.

Awful service and attitude.
