Auto-renew to a full 12 month contract
Disgusting business practise as I didn't even get a email towards the end of the term to allow sufficient (or any) time to cancel.
So now my son is not attending and I'm forced to carry on paying until October.
Couple this in with coaches that arrive late on a fairly consistent basis and there is no way I could ever recommend them any more.
A fair and reasonable way to work after a long contract has finished is to move to a rolling monthly contract, not another full 12 month contract.
Yes, it's in their terms and conditions but I was never reminded at the time it was coming to an end which is a reasonable request.

We always aim to be as clear and transparent as possible when it comes to how our memberships work. As outlined in our terms, all 12-month plans automatically renew unless we receive at least one month’s notice to cancel prior to the renewal date.
This system is in place to ensure continuity for your child, avoiding any disruption to their learning and progress, and to secure their place in what are often fully booked classes. Auto-renewal is a standard practice across many children’s activities and sports programmes, particularly those with structured, term-based curriculums.
When you initially joined Samba Soccer Schools, your membership was set up over the phone with a member of our team, who fully explained both the auto-renewal terms and the cancellation policy before completing the sign-up. The full terms and conditions were also clearly outlined in the confirmation email you received at the start of your membership. At no point during your time with us did you request to receive a reminder before your renewal date.
You contacted us earlier this month to request a cancellation, and at that point, your membership was already 8 months into a renewed 12-month term. The reason you gave did not fall under the exceptional circumstances outlined in our policy, which meant your membership would typically need to continue until October.
However, after you explained that you were unaware of the renewal, we reviewed your case and offered a goodwill gesture, reducing your remaining membership from four months to two. You accepted this resolution before posting your review, so the suggestion that you were “forced to carry on paying until October” is misleading.
We also want to acknowledge and say thank you for attending classes with us for over 20 months, which we hope reflects that your family valued and enjoyed the experience for a significant period of time.
You also mentioned concerns about punctuality in your review. We're genuinely sorry to hear you experienced this. We always aim to deliver sessions to the highest standard and take feedback like this seriously.
While we wish it had been brought to our attention sooner so we could have addressed it promptly, we will now be looking into this to ensure everything is running as expected at your venue.
We remain committed to supporting our members and doing what we can to be fair and reasonable in our approach. While we respect your decision to leave a public review, we believe it’s also important to reflect the full context of the situation, particularly when a resolution had already been reached in private.

Fantastic football coaching
Fantastic football coaching, team respect, spirit and encouragement, as well as helping with skills needed on and off the pitch. Our grandson is not naturally skilled, but Coach Ali always shows encouragement and is great with all the kids

Samba soccer review
My three children have been coming to samba soccer for nearly a year and look forward to going every week, they are continually learning new skills that they work on at home outside of training. Not only that, they have learnt the importance of teamwork.
Their coach, Coach T is great with the kids, keeping the kids engaged and focused but still able to have fun with them which they love.
Would definitely recommend
