Island Vacations of Sanibel & Captiva Avis 

The service provided by Island Vacations was wonderful. Very responsive to any concerns and repairs needed were handled same day.....light bulbs, garbage disposal replaced when was leaking into base cabinet. Helpful with local information.

The condo owner needs to make repairs to the lanai sliding doors as we had no use of one of the 2 doors during our entire 4 week stay. Given that the rate has been increased 23% for 2023 there needs to be upgrades to the bathrooms, bedding, furniture and other furnishings. Such an increase is not warranted given the ongoing condition of the unit. Unit is showing its wear and tear.

The HOA needs to paint the propane tanks or otherwise hide them......these tanks are directly outside the lanai and unsightly from the porch area.

Overall this is a very nice location and provides an enjoyable place for a Sanibel visit. Would be exceptional with a few updates and repairs.

The staff at Island Vacations are all very friendly. They called to see if everything was ok with the property and if we needed anything. I’m sure they would have been very responsive if we had any problems.

Island Vacations was very efficient and expedient with check-in, check-out and the one concern we had. They were also very friendly and welcoming.

We have been coming to Sanibel for over 40 years, and this is the best rental company we have used. Sorry to see some new expenses (cleaning) appear, but I guess that is the result of Covid.

Another great time on Sanibel. Best beach to walk right outside. Great shelling , soft sand and dolphins. Quiet condo complex with nice walk around lagoon.

The office staff was completely responsive to all our requests! In a very timely manner.

Place wAs very nice Only issues were laundry in dryer when we arrived and broken drawer in master bedroom dresser.Door key stuck on each use Minor issues but that’s why it’s 4 star

The condo was nice and clean when we arrived and the cleaners we there promptly when we left. We had no issues with the condo during our stay so we didn’t have to contact the office. However, when I dropped the keys back to the office at the end of our stay they we very friendly and professional.

We have rented from Island Vacations-Sanibel for a number of years. They are very conscientious, friendly, & always available. We are always very pleased with them.

We have been renting from Island vacation for years and have enjoyed the rental process. The staff is always helpful and does their best to meet our needs. Will continue to rent and look forward to extending our vacation within the next few years.

We had a great time. Our condo is exactly what we usually get when in Sanibel. The aspects that are vital for us are: having a lanai, location, and my hubby requires really good wifi.

Our condo was clean and beautiful. It had everything we needed with only one exception. It took time to find out that the beach chairs were in a different location other than the condo. Once we located them, I realized there were not any really good beach chairs, so I went and bought one. My only suggestion would be a couple of newer beach chairs would be fabulous.

The folks at Island vacations were wonderful. I only called them twice, and they got me an answer right away. I love knowing that they are right there on the island with us, just in case. I already re-booked with them for next year because the service was so great.

Have used Island Vacations for over 10 years. Have never had an issue that was not solved quickly. A quality staff that are a pleasure to do business with.

We rented our condo for two weeks and advise 3 times that the living room tv would not work. when we called the phone number in your manual, we were questioned as to why we were calling her personal number.

The staff at Island Vacations is so helpful and check to see that everything is
what we expected.
Also, if there is any work to be done to the condo they let you know in advance so there are no surprises.
We have used Island Vacations for many years and will continue to do so in the future.
They make staying on Sanibel a pleasure. No hassle renewing your stay for the following year, either. You roll your deposit over and you have 1st choice on the condo. ( after the owner, of course). Cudos Island Vacations!

We had to cancel a week this year due to health, island Vacations rented the unit within one day, and we received a check covering most of our rental costs. Thank you so much, Island Vacations. We had no other issues this year, but when we did, the staff of Island Vacations treated us very well.
