Island Vacations of Sanibel & Captiva Avis 

Friendly and quick customer service. We managed to lock ourselves out of the condo on night 2 and someone from Island Vacations was able to not only take our call (on a Sunday night) but send someone with an extra set of keys within 30mins. This was exceptional and shows Island Vacations dedication to their customers. Thank you!

When arriving to Sanibel we were greeted so politely at the office and helped to get checked in and on our way to the condo. Every interaction so pleasant. The condo exceeded our expectations of comfort and cleanliness. We will no doubt return and reserve with island vacations in the future.

Great view, everything we needed and wanted. Clean. The grounds were fabulous. Master bedroom could use a new bed. Definitely a great visit.

Our family has booked through Island Vacations multiple times. We have never been disappointed with the care and assistance they have given us. Their staff is the best I have dealt with by far. You will not be disappointed in renting through them.

I had a great time with my two adult daughters and sister on this well needed vacation. The condo was spacious and stocked with everything we needed. The community was quiet. We enjoyed the beach and pool which were just a short walk away from the condo. The bikes, beach chairs, umbrella and wagon were a plus for our days at the beach. We would stay at this condo again.

My sisters and I have spent several visits to Pointe Santo D24 over the years, but this is the first year with the new management. It was a little less convenient to have to stop by the rental office to pick up our keycode, as compared to exchanging that information electronically with the previous management company.

Condo could use some minor updating.View was the best. The upper end unit is bright and cheery as u get window light on 3 sides. View is the best. These units are so very close to the beach, i.e.best of the condos we've seen.

The experience was very good. Easy check in and out. The condo was clean and comfortable.

Tried to give feedback to share with owner of the unit and immediately got excuses/reasons why things hadn’t been done. Customers don’t care about excuses/reasons. Representative didn’t seem to welcome the feedback, so I gave up and left.

I received the following reply from Sanibel Island Vacations:
“ While we appreciate you trying to let future guests know about your experience, we ask that you share the full story as to not confuse others. Our team received your request for assistance on May 9th and sent one of our team members over to help you work the TV in the back bedroom within an hour of being notified you were having difficulty. Had you shared your other concerns while with us, we would have gladly worked to resolve them during your stay. We did share your comments on other items with the owner and they are working to bring the unit up to par. We hope you will visit us again in the future! Please let us know if we can help you.”

My comments were not made to “future guests” but to Sanibel Island Vacations staff with no other customers in the office. My intent was not to complain but to provide feedback so the unit owner would understand how renters might feel about things in the unit that either might provide a safety hazard or might contribute to additional wear and tear on the unit. As an owner of rental home properties (not vacation rentals), I feel like I have some knowledge about things that renters encounter. As Sanibel Island Vacations requested, here’s the full story so as not to confuse others. The refrigerator door may have a broken closing cam because every time you open the door it whacks into the counter top, the plywood in the sleeper sofa makes it practically impossible to open the sleeper and the cracked tile/uneven tile throughout the unit poses a tripping hazard. I was on vacation and didn’t want to plan my time around repair or service people in the unit. For me, the TV problem was an immediate issue and Sanibel Island Vacations responded appropriately. The issues I tried to share with the staff, as I was checking out, seemed to be longer-term solutions that the owner could be made aware of. I was in the unit during ‘low season’ so the owner may consider repairing before next ‘snowbird’ season starts.

Staff extremely friendly even willing to go beyond expectations.

The condo was beautiful and very clean. Reserving and communication was great. We had a great time in Sanibel.

We were happy with our stay at Pointe Santo in May 2022; were glad to visit Sanibel our old beach friend! The condo was just as advertised with comfy sofa and chairs,adequate kitchen, clean and neat with a good bed. Decor was beach oriented and tasteful.
Enjoyed the pool, beach and the island sites. Restaurants were very good except for Chee Burger which we did not like at all. The fries were greasy and the burger was tasteless.
Just a note: master bath shower is showing some mold growth along the bottom of the shower enclosure and on the tiles. Could use a thorough bleaching and cleaning.

Everything was perfect! Island Rentals was very helpful and accommodating. The condo was clean and nice.. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Everything was great, as expected. In fact, we reserved the same unit for the same week next year!

The staff at Island Vacations is top notch. They were available to answer all of our questions and concerns. This was our second experience at Loggerhead Cay, and we have signed on for a third next year.

Loved the proximity to the beach and the smallness of the compound. The girls at Island Vacations were very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. Would definitely be my choice of properties if I’m lucky enough to get to come back! Would like to see the office in Clamshell B be reverted to a bedroom.

Air conditioner went out and upon notification someone was sent and the problem fixed within a few hours. Very friendly staff.

The home at 210 Daniel drive was lovely and exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood was beautiful and very convenient to the beach, shopping and near everything that we wanted to bike ride to. The community pool was lovely. The house was modern, clean, spacious and met all of our needs. The staff at Island Vacations was always very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

I Have been a customer of Island vacations on multiple Sanibel Vacations. Making the reservation is simple, I always receive a confirmation e-mail. upon arrival, the staff is always friendly. I have checked in after hours and picking up the keys is easy. I have also checked out early and that was very easy also. everyone I spoke with during my stay was professional and helpful.
