Satsuma Loans Avis 

I took a £900.00 loan at the end of December 17 and made 4 payments of £149.00. Therefore I paid them nearly £600.00 but the settlement figure was £847.00, which means I only 'paid' £53.00 off the capital. I would have expected a lower settlement figure. I never missed a payment nor was I late.
Also given wrong information about a refund. I was told that the difference between settlement and balance (which is amount that was paid to them by 3rd party who consolidated loan) would be paid back to me. They lied. Managers only paid lip service to apologies to me and complaint made, but I don't expect them to actually do anything about it.
I will never use these people again, and if you are thinking of them - Think twice.

Worst company ever. Time wasters. And a shambles really. A week I was emailing them sending docs getting emails from satsuma ID to then be rejected its just time wasting. I'm glad I never got accepted only time in my whole life I'm glad of rejection. Seriously they would be a nightmare to deal with. Also they say no statements required just proof off income via payslips etc. Email says please send statement once we get this the money will be on its way. Remember your loan is approved. Ahhhhhh haha haha a load of balls

I applied for a loan last Friday and now it's is the following Friday still waiting from then to sort a very little simple correction on my date of birth as well as either approve or decline me

Recently applied for a loan, took 6 days, in which I was asked to send 2 wage slips. Then got declined! Which then shot my credit rating to rock bottom essentially blocking me trying another company. Very poor. I should have known better from provident.

Absolutely awful. Be warned if you take out a loan, unless you settle the day of your next payment your then charged a full months interest in advance. So one day after I paid £200 I was charged a full months interest to settle. Unless it’s a last resort stay well clear.

Awful company - I cannot recommend them to anyone. You pay them on time without fail and they refuse to accept you for another loan. Also their processing time is the slowest in the UK they take forever

Just did a 'smart check' on their site which clearly states that no credit check will be carried out. Once I submitted, the response I got was:

'We're really sorry, we can't offer you a loan right now

We use a credit reference agency (!!) to help us make our decisions and we can't offer you a loan based on the information they've given us.'

Just blatant liars - not to be trusted

Bunch of sharks.........avoid at all costs. They waste your time by accepting you for a loan, then ask you for payslips which exactly tally the information originally provided, and then they say documents arent clear enough, so i send more which were spot on clear. I get the same response. I eventually was declined after initially being accepted. I am thankful i was declined after reading the horror stories about this disgrace of a company.

Peice of crap company 10 minute money is bollox well once you waited the 4 days why its pendin after that its 10 minutes and interest is over the top do yourself a favour go with someone else anyone else in fact a loan shark is what satsuma is

Still waiting on a small loan. Docs sent still nothing 2days now pathetic.... I highly recommend sunny loans

Called today to settle 10 months early on a year long loan and ended up paying 200 pounds extra on top for the next 28 days interest, wasn't made entirely clear and asked reason why after had paid whereupon was explained but by then had paid so just told that was how they operated.

Had 2 loans off them in last 12 months, 1 for 500 and 1 for 1000. Paid both off early. Needed another loan to make ends meet and was asked for payslip which I immediately provided, was then declined with no reason given. Awful way to treat loyal customers and will never try using them again.

Worst company every the charged me £200 for 24 days as and early settlement on top of my loan, i call the first time and they hung up the second wasnt much help she couldnt even give me a breakdow over the phone !

Please dont get a loan from these cowboys the should be shut down

DO NOT USE SATSUMA LOANS !! Warning to you all. Awful service. Communication is the worst I've ever experienced. They will ignore all emails and messages. Customer service is appalling. Any questions or complaints you may have are ignored. They will mess you about with payments. The worst I've ever had to deal with.

I had already been a customer of this ridiculous organisation and was treated like dirt although I had never missed a payment and completed previous loans early, so now I have completed another loan six months early and they have given me an early settlement figure of less than £50.00. Do yourselves a favour people - if you need a loan, go somewhere else because Satsuma will bleed you dry - worst company ever, especially if you make payments on time !!

A joke was approved asked for proof of income which I sent then proof of i'd which I sent checked they had received it and they had I was told someone would ring within 24 hrs they didn't rang everyday for an update got no response eventually after 9 days I have given up and it's still saying application approved they are a joke!!!!!

took £1000 over 12 months with a total cost of £1992
after 2 monthly payments of £166 i got my hands on some money and called them to ask for an early settlement amount...they told me i had to pay £1100... w t f??

the cost of the credit was 992 over 12 months and i paid almost half in just 3 months???

now i've been trying to call them to get my interest back but they don't pick up the phones they tell me they will call me back....it's been 3 days...
