I joined the wine club to save money…
I joined the wine club to save money with a view to ordering wine at Christmas. I received a code for £20 that I had saved up but the point was that I could spend all the money together! Emailed and not received a response. They have £40 of mine and I've no way of redeeming it. Maybe not a lot to some people but it is to me. Thank goodness I cancelled my direct debit and didn't lose any more.

Similar situation to the other recent reviews. Bit disappointed as I spent over £100 and the wine arrived broken (obviously not the companies fault BUT I've lost that money now). I emailed Savage vines FOUR TIMES, and Dm'd and did an online form - no reply. I also have about £40 in store credits from the last few months so I have cancelled my subscription. They appear to still be taking orders on their site - so feel that whatever is happening to their business, is not being well managed and communicated - I'm upset to have wasted almost £150 and to have had no reply.

I think they must have gone bust but can find no information. I've had a subscription for 2 years. All well until July when had two inferior bottles, then August two identical bottles arrived. I've tried all the ways I know to contact them, all unsuccessful. But there's nothing on their website which looks as if they're trading normally. So what's going on? And of course I've paid for a whole year...
Gift subscription code not being validated
We've been given a subscription as a gift and the website doesn't appear to be accepting the code. It comes up with an error message saying there is an issue and try again later. I've tried contacting the company by email and phone and there is no reply. This then led me to search for reviews on the company and, based on all the negative comments here, I can only assume this company is having major issues. I would steer well clear!!
No customer service
Ordered 12 bottles of wine, only received 6.
Created a ticket (#94710) - they say they'll respond in 24h, it's been weeks. Tried ringing, can't get through. Wouldn't be an issue if they'd sort it but they just ignore you.
Great product if you ever receive it
As with other reviews my subscription has not been fulfilled despite trying to contact them via their website and leaving messages on their answerphone, nothing! Can someone from Savage Vines respond with what's happening?
Be wary of this company at present
The service and wines were good until the company changed and downsized a few months ago. Since then the money credit I had with it has vanished, and it still hasn't been returned to me after weeks of asking for it.
Cancelled!
I’ve just cancelled my subscription as my last order wasn’t fulfilled despite the payment having been taken. No response to numerous calls and emails, so after 4 years of supporting this company, I’m out! I doubt I’ll get a refund so I’m very, very disappointed. Don’t order from this company as there are obviously issues.

I cannot believe how dreadful this company is! I bought a voucher as a gift for someone to get wine 5 days ago and she never got it. I contacted Savage Vines in many forms (email, x, linkedIn, phone, everywhere!)

Never received order, had to claim money through Paypal
Placed two orders on the 13th of September, one for a bottle of a wine and a corkscrew and the other for a subscription.
Delivery dates for both orders were the 17th and 18th of September. Those dates came and passed. I emailed the company the end of that week but no reply. I raised a support ticket on their website on the 23rd and even though they say they reply in 24 hours it's 12th of October now without a reply.
I tried phoning but no one picks up, and I have sent other emails also with no reply.
In the end I have raised disputes with Paypal in order to get my money back and the seller did not even reply to those.
The company behind this is THE WINE PROPHETS LIMITED (Company number 10676425). From their micro company accounts from March 2023 they had only three employees. The lead guy is Kyle Paskett, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's the only one left after all the recent complaints of staffing issues.
Terrible company would never use again.

deliveries don't turn up but payments taken! emailed and no responses even though states will get replies within 24 hours! phone number doesn't work! excuse after excuse when you finally do get a reply. do not use this company they are terrible and do not deliver or respond. they just steal!
No delivery and no communication.
Unfortunately, it would seem that THE WINE PROPHETS LIMITED (Company Number 10676425), the company behind Savage Vines, is having difficulties. I, like most other recent reviews, have not received my most recent order and find it impossible to contact Savage Vines. If this is the case, it is sad as the original business idea was refreshing and in the past I have received my orders, most recently in May. That said, I find it highly problematic if a company collects subscription money without a realistic plan to deliver any goods.
Update: I have now received the order.
Absolutely shocking service
Absolutely shocking service. Used to be very good but lately it’s diabolical. Taken two payments from me and delivered nothing. No answer to issues raised online and calls go straight to voicemail. July you said it was a staffing issue and now I see you’re saying it’s a website issue. Rubbish.
Service horrendous - what’s going on?
I have been a customer for a few years & initially was very happy with the wine & the service & I actually joined the wine. However the service in last few months has been horrendous. I am currently trying to place an order to use up the funds I have built up in my account however when I come to checkout there is no option for me to use my credit.
I have tried ringing & left messages & emailed but no response. What is going on - has this company gone out of business- it’s very distressing & annoying.

Poor performance and uncontactable
Deliveries have continued to get more and more delayed over the last 6 months. Although the wine is good the service from Savage Vines has become shocking.
Also the website functionality to update a shipping address is broken meaning it is currently impossible to move a subscription. Savage Vines are also not responding to any messages or support tickets.

Unable to contact this company emails and telephone calls not answered. They do not phone back either. I would like to know if they have ceased trading and, if so, when.
I have cancelled my subscription and would advise all other subscribers to follow suit
Update: I have finally had a reply. The cases will be sent next week. He still blames staff issues for the delay. I will not be renewing the subscription.

Hopeless delivery and communication
I was given a 6 month subscription as part of a retirement gift. Wines have been unusual but ok, but the delivery has got worse and worse. My last delivery was due in mid July. At the end of July I had a note to say delivery was expected and I was given a tracking number for the courier. nearly a month later the courier is saying they haven't received the consignment from the supplier. Attempts to contact the supplier get no reply

Incredibly poor service
Bought a 6 month subscription for my wife. The first 2 months were great, then the 3rd month, money taken from my account but no delivery. After a lot of chasing, eventually we received the delivery several weeks late. Hoping this was a one-off, I kept the subscription going and again this month, money has been taken from my account, no delivery, and not responding to emails. I will be contacting my bank to recover the money and block savage vines from taking any more payments. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Didn"t receive goods
Didn"t receive goods, left voicemail, sent texts and received no replies. Luckily I purchased using Paypal so reported an issue to them and received a refund immediately. The 2 stars are for Paypal and I would advise all customers of Savage Vines to pay this way to protect themselves.

My son bought me a six month subscription for Father’s Day. The first two bottles arrived and were very good but I’ve received nothing since mid June. Have emailed three times without response and tried phoning five times with just an answer machine. The wine was fine but very disappointed with the failure to fulfil the subscription.
Sad to have to tell my son that his kind present has failed and having to ask him to seek a refund through his credit card company.
