I have subscribed to their monthly wine delivery and am never disappointed. The selection is varied, from smaller, unusual vineyards. Most of them are biological wines which is a nice touch. A great way to get in touch with wines you'd otherwise never get to know.

Love the podcast that goes along with the bottles that you receive monthly, really interesting to have the tasting notes so you learn more about different wines. No problem with delivery or payment, good communication.

29 Jun update: My recipients have finally received their replacement gift box and are rather excited about it. Everything is there this time (SIX bottles and all the supplementary materials). It's been a long old road since the original order in April and I feel a little bruised from it all but it does seem to have been a one off for the seller as everyone else seems to report positive experiences. Thanks to Kyle for getting it all sorted.
15 Jun update: Had some positive correspondence with seller, who says they will re-supply the gift with this month's dispatches. It's quiet at the moment but will update further in due course.
05 Jun update: Unfortunately, I’ve still had no response from the seller, despite seeing them respond to a number of other reviews either side of my own. This is both frustrating and really quite upsetting. The seller says they are a one-person business so if they packed our gift box themselves, it’s unclear how the order was dispatched so incomplete. As another reviewer has said, it’s a difficult time for many and I agree, but to be continually ignored by a seller over two weeks on from delivery is rather poor customer service. It seems those subscribing to Savage Vines are receiving a good experience, which is great for them. Unfortunately, my experience as a one-off customer has been anything but.
02 Jun: Ordered the 'Six Bottle Wine Gift Box' as a gift one month before needed. It was supposed to include (copied from webpage): 6 wines from independent family run vineyards, a wine map showing where they’re from, tasting notes incl. food pairing suggestions and a podcast talking through each wine. The box arrived just on time after having to chase the order. However, it contained only 5/6 bottles and none of the supplementary materials advertised. I contacted the seller immediately via email (telephone was unanswered) but no response. Multiple unanswered emails, calls and a Tweet later, I've still heard nothing and it's now almost two weeks since delivery. Incredibly disappointed and would not recommend, sorry.

UPDATE: Response received 12 days on. Still ignored my request to cancel with goods being sent late (a bottleshop order outside of the subscription mentioned was an intended gift). Was pressured to remove this review which is always concerning. Honestly, I’d avoid - irregardless of reasoning provided, it’s not difficult to communicate or respond to emails.

1/10. They advertise a pretty swift service including bottles to order outside of subscription (even during COVID). Literally taken my money and heard nothing over 8 days.

Also ignored two emails to cancel so 0 wine, zero communication, zero chance of a recommendation.

Unique and delicious wines, fast delivery and great customer service from Kyle. What more could you want!
