Had a great experience purchasing a bottle as a gift for a client's birthday. I had mistakenly not listed a "Note" in the section (I thought it's a note for the delivery driver). I immediately emailed Kyle, the owner, via the website, asking if it's too late to add on a short message. He answered within two hours (even though it was already later in the evening in the UK), and confirmed that he's added my message, as well as delivery info. The client received the bottle and message promptly, and was very impressed. Very satisfied, will be using them again!

Kyle always surprises us with a good selection of wines. Good value as well!

Kyle's service at Savage Vines was incredible. He took a seemingly complicated task and made it effortless. We were able to personalise the gifts and send out over 400 bottles of incredible wine. All of our clients sent back rave reviews of the wines and were delighted. All orders arrived on time and in perfect condition. I couldn't have wished to deal with a nicer person or have such a good solution. If you want to deal with someone who really cares about his wines. My experience with Savage Vines has been disappointing! I ordered the wrong gift card, which I was told couldn't be changed over so instead I had to buy another one and was told I would be refunded for the first purchase. I am still yet to be refunded from the 27th November!!! I have emailed and called numerous times & it still hasnt been sorted. The delay in getting back to customers is awful. I have previously used this company for many gifts but will now be re-thinking this due to me recent experience with them

I contacted savage wines before christmas 2020 regarding a case of 6 German wines from my son who lives in Rotterdam. The wine arrived on time but I do not like dry wines from Germany, I contacted savage wines and spoke to a young lady who told me that she would speak to the boss and get back to me, NO such luck I have not heard a peep, we will not be buying anymore from savage wines as I do not like bad sevice as well as dry wines. I ordered two wine deliveries from Spain where I live, to my two daughters in different UK locations. After some confusion, probably caused by my “finger trouble” in sorting billing address from deliver addresses, Kyle was able to sort it out for me and delivered the next day. Good service.

We asked Kyle at Savage Vines to help us send a Christmas gift of wine to selected customers. Kyle is extremely knowledgeable about wine and provided us with excellent advise, as well as ensuring that our order was despatched promptly. I have no hesitation in recommending Savage Vines.

Awful wine, if it arrives on time that is.

I am writing this review with a heavy heart after having extremely high hopes for a wine subscription that would likely introduce me to wines I would never have been aware of otherwise. I signed up for the savage vines subscription just in time to recieve my first case going into December. Savage was unable to dispatch the case due to disruptions with DPD. They failed to communicate this to me until I called in to complain that I had recieved no communications regarding my delivery, they then sent me an email stating that I would recieve the wine a week later. It is now a week later. As it stands I have failed to recieve a single form of communication from Savage regarding the delivery of mys ubscription. when I called in it took them over an hour to locate my package and finally communicate to me that once again, I would not be recieving it at the alotted time. Seeing as it is lockdown and I thoroughly enjoy cooking I tend to schedule my weekends around the meals I cook, this is now the second weekend I will not have a suprise wine pairing even though I had fully planned for it. Savage has offered me zero consolation aside from a couple of apologies and an explanation that DPD is backed up which seems a bit odd considering I ordered a gift from a a samll one owner shop in liverpool to my home in essex last week, and it was delivered to me in 3 days. The level of service with this company is absolutely atrocious and I have now asked them to cancel the delivery altogether. I will go choose my own wine from Majestic, as I know that if I do it that way, I will most likely end up actually posessing it at some point.

Bought the subscription for my dad for fathers day and he loved all the wine! The only thing that could have been improved was if the wine came with the leaflets explaining a bit about them as my dad didn't like having to go on his phone haha.

Service was always really good as well - definitely recommend.

My wife bought me a three month subscription, it’s such a brilliant present. Every bottle has been excellent, which I have never seen anywhere before. I’ve learnt a lot from just three months of being introduced to unique and contrasting wines, I don’t think I’ll buy from a supermarket again. Every month a box arrives with a brief summary of each wine, but, there is also a link for a personal and in-depth explanation of the grape and regions of each wine brilliantly described by Kyle, who runs the company. I’ve always wanted to have a better knowledge of wine but I’ve never known where to begin, this has been a perfect introduction.

Gave a 3 month subscription as a gift to family members and three months later got one back from them. Two very happy separate lots of customers.
Communications over email very good (Director even answered an email from Spain when on holiday) and deliveries always came on time. Really appreciated the information about the wine itself and we definitely improved our palette as well as knowledge. Now about to join monthly :>)

I have had my own bar and restaurant, which was listed in the BA onboard magazine, and believe I know a little about food and wine. I have now had 4 months' of delivery from Savage Vines. It is fantastic stuff. Get some ordered and see why you shouldn't bother with the supermarket mass made stuff!!!!

I was given a three month gift subscription for my birthday. I was looking forward to some good wines, however these were the worst wines I have had in a long time, tasteless, I have had better £6 bottles from my local supermarket. And yes I did do some research on them. Tasting notes were few and far between and did not always match the wine I received.

Ordered monthly deliveries for my mum for her birthday but couldn't select her birthday as the first delivery day (had the option of a few days in the last week of the month). I really wanted it to be delivered by her birthday (which was in 5 days so not a lot of time to organise) and emailed them to ask if this was possible. Kyle (the founder I think) replied very quickly to let me know that they could absolutely do this and I've just received an email letting me know it'll be delivered 2 days before her birthday! Thank you so much Kyle for your help, it's been a pleasure interacting with this company who have been very friendly and helpful all the way through! :)

I had used savagevines, last year as a gift for my dad's birthday and who doesn't like wine delivered on time to there door by surprise 🍷😂 The quality of wine was far superior to what you can find in the shops and what my dad's taste was used to. So I got a very happy phone call on the day of delivery ☺️ I did I 3month service at the time and disappointment soon became clear after the deliverys stopped, due to the package ending. So a year later a reached out to the hench honcho Kyle, and we have now connected with a monthly rolling subscription for my dad which I would definitely recommend, and I am sure he would if he could use the internet 😂 Thanks for your help and the team you have at savagevines. I will be down at Christmas hopefully to get a taste of the quality your serve myself 🙂 10/10, keep up the good work and growth!

I am super happy with the service I've received from Savage Vines. I was having difficulty processing my payment from Bermuda for a wine subscription gift for my brother's 40th birthday. I emailed Savage Vines to see what they could do on short notice and Kyle contacted me immediately - in under 30 minutes my payment was taken, purchase confirmed and my brother will receive his gift on his birthday!
