We first contacted SBW Law regarding a Secure Deposit case. Unfortunately, the process took much longer than we had expected, and for quite some time we felt there was little progress. This caused us stress and disappointment, as we had hoped for a quicker resolution.

I would have no hesitation to highly recommend SBW Law. We had a first class, professional experience. My son and his housemates had issues with the landlord of their university rental house. Their deposit was not protected correctly and he also refused to return their deposit for no reason at all. I filed a tenancy deposit compensation claim against a former landlord who attempted to evict me with just two weeks' notice, simply because she was travelling abroad during my final month and wanted to re-let the room before leaving. This was a clear breach of our contract and UK tenancy law. Through my own research, I discovered not only had she failed to issue the legally required Section 21 notice, but that such a notice would have been invalid anyway, as tenancy deposit protection is a legal prerequisite for serving it.
