Not all is well in the world of casting which is why I appreciate Selfcast and their underlying philosophy of decency and propriety. I love this casting app Selfcast, and I find it easy and trustworthy when finding jobs as an actor in the movie/commercial-industry. The only thing that needs improvement is better matchmaking/search options.

Jeg benytter app'en fra Selfcast, og jeg har fået flere af de jobs, som jeg har ansøgt. Der er altid styr på processen fra ansøgning til optagelse, og jeg kan derfor varmt anbefale Selfcast. Jeg kan nemt følge med i min status på de forskellige jobs, som jeg har ansøgt i app'en, hvilket jeg ser som et stort plus. Det er også muligt at ansøge jobs i udlandet, hvilket jeg ikke har set hos andre castingbureauer.

Selfcast is a great platform for actors

I've had a great experience using Selfcast. I tend to apply to roles on various casting sites and selfcast has been consistent and good at communicating on the growth of their app.

For actors who enjoy applying on their laptop, it may take a bit to get used to applying in their app but it is worth it. I've booked over 4 jobs and have noticed that casting agents use them.

And of course booking jobs as an actor is based on auditions and your materials, so one needs to make sure that they have a strong profile on selfcast.

However, the Selfcast team is great at encouraging models and actors to improve their photos, add professional videos, and even host photo events to help actors get new images.

As actors/models, there is always a fear or question about sites and whether something is legit. Selfcast is legitimate and is a decent platform to work towards getting booked for jobs. Of course, booking still depends on the work we as actors put in :-).

Er ikke prisen det værd og de er der ikke.

Samme opgaver som hos andre bureauer. Der er intet kundeservice. Lidt for smart, hyped og posh markedsføring omkring dette bureau som ikke lever op til deres garantier omkring, at der er mange opgaver. Blev booket til en opgave som afmeldte aftenen før og jeg fik ikke betaling selv om jeg havde reserveret en hel dag. Der er ikke nok opgaver til og flere af dem befinder sig i udlandet.

Dit svar herunder til mig nytter intet. Jeg har mødt mindst 50 andre modeller ude på opgaver der deler samme holdning. At du ikke er der for at give os opgaver, men for at tjene penge på os. Desværre.

Regarding your specific case of a cancellation, while we empathize with the frustration that comes from last-minute changes, we must clarify that payment for a cancelled booking depends on the terms agreed upon between the client and the talent. If the client did not offer compensation for a cancellation, this would be a contractual matter specific to that job, and not a reflection of Selfcast’s policies.

Fusk og bedrag.

Jeg ved ikke, hvor folke bag selfcast, men jeg kan ikke anbefal at søge job til dine børn gennem denne webside. Min søn var ude som statist og får afvide, at lønnen er 500 kr. Vi brugt en hel dag og derefter får afvide, at det er selfcast der står for lønnen. Jeg skriver til Maria, der er bag selfcast som på mail fortælle mig, at produktion sende gavekort afsted og skal kontakt hende efter et par dage, hvis ikke vi har fået noget. Da vi stadig ikke har modtaget noget skriver jeg til Maria igen som svare, der kan gå op til en mdr før de udbetaler løn. Produktion svare igen, at det er selfcast der skal stå for lønnen og jeg skriver igen til Maria, der nu bare er hold op med at svare. Så mit råd er find et andet casting site til jeres børn, fordi det er en meget mærkelig måde at drive forretning ved ikke at udbetale løn for det stykke arbejde, vi melde os til.

Været medlem i 2+ måneder men med Android kan man ikke uploade hverken billeder eller videoer så derfor kan jeg selvfølgelig ikke få jobs. Det virker ikke til at der bliver fixet. Jeg synes at jeg burde få de to måneder refunderet siden jeg ikke har kunne bruge abonnementet...
