I really like this floor lamp because it is sturdy but doesn’t take up much space. Previously, I had a lamp with a self-assembled stand in 3 sections and the joints became very wobbly. My Serious Readers lamp looks built to last (which is necessary as they are an investment) and the light is good. We also bought two table lamps from the same company several years ago.

Hi John. I'm So glad you like it. 3 stars is a lower than average score for us so I was wondering what we needed to have done to score more highly? All ideas welcome. Thanks. Alex (Pratt) Founder
I have looked at these lamps over the years but couldn’t justify the cost. However, after having completed cataract surgery and seeing the big reductions in the Summer sale, I decided to treat myself. Couldn’t be more pleased with the performance, no sore eyes and a well made and stable lamp. As the winter approaches with lower light indoors I can look forward to many happy hours reading.

Great. Thanks for sharing. The light fidelity and ability to adjust the light to suit what you are doing should make a big difference. All the best. Alex (Pratt) Founder
