If you are trying to grow a YouTube channel this is a great step by step course that offers everything from instruction on editing and thumbnails to what makes a good video to business strategy. I made videos for a long time and was not successful. With the direction of Daniel, On Shane’s team, (who is beyond a pleasure to work with), just this week I uploaded a video that has gone to 265k views in two days. Before that my videos were under 100 views each. It’s an investment but worth it if you are trying to actually make it on YouTube.

The community is great, the content is great and the coaches are all experienced and nice to work with. No sleazy vibes here, just helpful info. Shout out to Daniel S for his weekly business masterclasses; these go beyond just the YT monetization aspect. Thank you Daniel!

The content is packed full of actionable steps. I am impressed with the information and how it is different from the "usuall content". Shane has a way of explaining how to make youtube sucessfull by showing examples and using metaphores. A great way of teaching so it sticks with you.

I've had an amazing experience in the Content Growth Engine VIP program. I go to live weekly sessions on strategy and video editing to learn and discuss specifics I'm seeing, watch course recordings in my own time, and have 1:1 coaching calls with Jimmy. He's been spot on helping me create attention grabbing titles, thumbnails, and intros with a strong hook. I love the focus on moving into action quickly, knowing that progress comes from doing and iterating. I'm excited that one of my videos has 29X the number of views compared to subscribers and still growing.

Five cheers for Jimmy Marshall, my CGE coach who makes scaling the significant learning curve for a non-techie person like myself much easier. His compassionate motivation and strong knowledge of the content and industry are stellar. The information and motivation from the CGE program is impressive, be prepared to dedicate time and energy and you will get your money's worth.

Jimmy Marshall's editing classes at Shane Hummus' coaching program have brought my skills up from ZERO to where I can edit a vid in under 10 minutes and make it look professional. The method they teach and the personalized teaching are invaluable.

I decided to go all-in on being my own boss, but was frustrated that I was putting in a lot of effort but getting little traction. Not only do I get a solid plan with CGE, I am part of a community and get advice from coaches who have actually made it on YouTube. I am now on track to do this full time.

Just having direction on how to get started means a lot. This team has a lot of heart and truly will do their best to get people going. The only thing I'd do differently is on me. I'd learn the tools first before signing up because learning what software to use followed by how to use the software took up too much valuable time that could have been used in learning how to craft a product.

I so appreciate my coach Tina. She is so knowledgeable and helpful. During my time in the program I have encountered a lot of distraction, Tina doesn't make me feel bad about life happening and she is so willing to make adjustment. The content is pretty easy to understand and follow. I haven't been able to dedicate the amount of time I wish I could but working with my coach and following the program; I still believe I'll be successful.

I'd have to say that Jimmy was incredibly helpful. He knew exactly where I was at in the CGE process; he knew exactly I how to 'game-plan' moving forward; also, Jimmy help me think through 'call to actions' and 'offer' ideas and strategies as well as what needs to be accomplished to get there. I look forward to my next call with Jimmy.

I’m still in the beginning stages of CGE, and I'm sure I'll be adding to this review or leaving a second one once I’m in the zone. So far, the Courses, tools and tips shared from member to member, the masterclasses, and personal support I’ve experienced have been invaluable.

The coaches/experts available to us have provided more than enough proof that I will be successful, as long as I do my part. Everyone on the CGE team, including Shane, knows each of us individually, at least a little. They clearly want us each to succeed, and they will do everything they can to help us reach and exceed our goals.

I recently attended my second YouTube business masterclass with Daniel Smylie, and the content he taught in each was well crafted, enlightning useful, and simple enough to begin executing on immediately.

I’ve also attended a few of Murray Frost’s masterclasses, which each showcased his diverse experience and knowledge in several branches of the YouTube space.

I’m just about to record and post my first video to my new channel, and although I’ve had to start at a slower pace than I’d like, that pace is about to accelerate rapidly.

If you can’t tell, I’m super excited, I’m motivated, and I’m so glad I decided to become part of this special community. The community is inspiring to be working alongside and I’ll be a part of CGE for as long as it exists, even after my time in the official program ends.

When I watch content about how to grow on YouTube from similar channels on the platform, one that is incredibly popular and does have a lot of good advice and proven methods, although they are incredibly enthusiastic and seem to give valuable information for free, before I joined the CGE community, those channels actually made me feel LESS capable of making any kind of difference in the community I am here to help.

Shane is by no means gatekeeping, but he and his team have worked hard, and put in so many hours to create tools and support systems that are unique to CGE, that they deserve to be compensated very well for the information inside the program. It goes so far beyond algorithm, keywords, trends and everything else easily found with nothing more than a little time and research.

Before joining CGE, that other advice felt so noisy and general that I started to actually feel LESS capable of bringing value to the specific group of people that I care about through the YT platform.

I’d still be dreaming and not taking action if it weren’t for the team at CGE. Nothing even comes close.

I joined Content Growth Engine approximately 6 months ago. I had been running my YouTube Channel for 2 years with modest success before joining CGE. In just the past six months I have experienced a significant growth in my subscribers and my viewership has significantly increased. I attribute much of that to Tina Leder, my personal success coach. With her guidance I greatly improved my channel, created a blueprint for continued success, went from having the most views on a single video of about 9,500 to having at least one video attract over 100,000 views. Before joining, I felt overwhelmed trying to figure out how to build a YouTube business on my own. Even though I'm in the early lessons, I’ve already gained clarity and a step‑by‑step plan that feels doable. The coaches have been supportive and genuinely motivating.

Before I started CGE I was not aware of how to optimize YouTube videos for growing a channel. I also would overthink the process of creating content and spend way too much time on a single video. Four months later I am able to batch up to eight videos at a time and schedule them out in a way that frees my time for the next x number of weeks. The coaches are very helpful and direct on how to improve. I am looking forward to the analytics reflecting the improvement I have made.

I’m finishing the 6‑month Shane Hummus Content Growth Engine program and it delivered exactly what it promised. I went from a complete YouTube beginner to a solid intermediate creator with a working system.

The program offers a large amount of up‑to‑date training, live sessions, and coaching. There’s more material than one person can get through, and it’s all practical.

I put in the hours and made real progress: 100 long‑form videos and a full sales funnel built from scratch — lead magnet, landing page, and digital product. If someone is ready to do the work and take YouTube seriously, this is a strong program.

The step by step training that is provided is excellent. Each step builds on the prior module, and positions the Youtube steps from a different angle than the 'same old' education often presented elsewhere. The training is especially good for those with a business to promote.
I like the contact from the coaches, and the encouragement. I would love to see where you can pick how much contact or follow up you require from a coach, eg monthly check ins (self driven and already quite skilled), or fortnightly (quite new with YT and need regular contact).
The CGE community is positive, encouraging and also very generous in offering their own skills to help other members. Or to give their expert opinions. This is a bonus I was not expecting and it is great to be a part of a supportive like-minded community.
