Joined last August on a supposedly fixed tariff then they increase the tariff from April 1st so don't believe the fixed tariff they can increase it at any time

Recently switched over after electric Ireland left the market. It’s only been a month and I’m spending less than half of what I’d normally pay. I did have issues getting the online account activated but every email and query was dealt with promptly and the issue was resolved quickly. Very efficient service and as cheap as you’ll get

I first came across Share Energy at the Balmoral Show at a very opportune time for me. My then-energy-supplier had just informed me that they were getting out of the domestic market so when I met the guys at their stand, I was happy to listen.
I must say, I was quickly caught up in the representatives' enthusiasm for their product as well as their openness and friendliness. It was the Share part of their message that caught my attention. In an age of energy companies putting profit before people, I was so impressed that a company would be prepared to give back half their profits to their customers that I was straightaway hooked on the idea and I am happy to wait for them to be in profit to get my share.
I have never looked back, especially since downloading their app to my phone. It makes everything so easy to keep track of, from submitting readings to checking my consumption and billing. Easy peasy, as my kids would say.
So thank you for coming along when you did, Share Energy. I applaud your philosophy and would happily award top marks for your service.

The switching experience was pathetic, I've had a closing bill from Power NI based on some weird estimates sent to them by Share and the bill is TRIPLE my expenditure obvious from my 20+ year history with Power NI

Recently switched to Share Energy from Click Energy. Switching process was a breeze and really liking the design of their bills. Can tell someone took time to lay it out so it can be understood by a normal human being! Also love being able to use the Share app to submit my monthly meter readings. Not really sure about the 50:50 profit sharing, or how it works, but the unit price is cheaper than Click who were the cheapest on the market.

I joined Share Energy and had 11 successful referrals, all of which were confirmed by email from Share Energy. However, after waiting over 5 weeks, I still hadn’t received the referral rewards.
I contacted Share Energy for an update and was told that someone would get back to me, but it’s now been several weeks since and I’ve heard nothing further.
It’s really disappointing, as I initially thought their referral scheme was a great idea and the service itself has been fantastic — but the lack of communication and follow-through has made the experience quite frustrating. Hopefully this can be resolved soon, but at the moment, I can’t recommend Share Energy based on my experience.

I recently changed my electricity provider from Power NI to Share Energy. They were very helpful and polite when I was switching over. The team are very friendly and professional and answered any questions I had with ease. I have had no issues with my electricity and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

As a small charity we were delighted to save on our energy bills with Share Energy - signing up was straightforward and the staff I dealt with were helpful and knowledgeable. We can already see a saving in our electricity bills, with budgets so tight this is helpful!

So signed up with Share energy recently for my elderly Mum. I got my Sister who lives near to do the switchover and put in the 4 digit code. The code didn’t go in numerous times so the operator tried to blame my Sister ( she has an honours degree in pure maths ). My Sister said the staff were patronising as and she eventually left it and rang back only to get someone tell her to try again and the code went into the keypad straight away. So I called them and spoke to a nice girl who then put me through to a so called manager called Sean who was defensive as from the start. Basically didn’t say it but blamed it on her for not inputting it correctly. Not a nice fella to deal with at all. I told him I’d be leaving on my own home account and my Mothers as his tone and customer service was unacceptable. Joke of a company.
Edit: So after receiving a call from Grace ref the poor customer service , my faith is somewhat been renewed in Share Energy. I felt it was a genuine apolagy on behalf of the company and I have decided to stay as a customer on both accounts. Hopefully the manager Sean can learn from this ! Its only thanks to Grace that I have made my decision to stay. Thanks
