Never had an issue when ordering from the clubs store. My only snag is they don’t offer the women’s super league badge for the women team player shirts? Why? Its the same team, just different leagues... Voir plus

If only you could give zero stars

Pretty disappointed to read the other reviews of people having the same issues with AVFC.

Ordered item 28th jan, with a delivery date of 11/02/21. On 15/02/21 I contacted the club to see where the parcel was as it was four days late. They responded on 16/02/21 to say it had now been dispatched and would be delivered by Hermes. Contacted Hermes who informed me they were yet to receive the parcel and were unable to give an accurate delivery date.

Poor showing from the online shop, not only is there nothing available if you are smaller than XXL, they downright lie to you about your order. Season ticket holder, pumped enough money in from my side but can’t even get an honest answer. Oh well. At least I paid a delivery fee 😂😂

Ordered an Item on Dec 11

Ordered an Item on Dec 11, 2020, with an international delivery; at the checkout the delivery date was Dec 23, on Dec 30 the package isn't arrived yet, & the customer service told me that the delivery does not have a tracking service

Beware of postage costs - particularly when returning items!

I ordered three T shirts from the online store. Unfortunate I didn't like them so I decided to return them. The Villa Park Shop refused to take them back - apparently they carry different stock and 'it's policy not to accept online purchases'. So I used the online returns process. I received the T shirts refund just before Christmas. However I paid £4.95 postage in the first instance and £4.90 to return the items. This postage money was not refunded. I won't buy anything else from the website if I feel there is any chance I will want to return it.

Christmas grinch .

Its ashame that i am writing a bad review on aston villa as they are my number one club #UTV.... this star rating should be 0 just like the service being provided !!! Ive paid £30 for my aston villa sweatshirt as i always get a xmas jumper every year .. no problems in the past untill now .. i ordered my xmas sweater sunday 13/12/20 were now on monday 21/12/20 no sighn of this ever arriving in time for it’s purpose... i cant track the order as it still says processing even to this day .... i rang a number and spoke to somebody regarding the issue and gave them my order number etc.... he couldnt tell me no information what so ever ??!! If its been picked..... if its out for delivery ..... has it gone missing ...... the only thing he did tell me was i cant track the order due to the delivery service they use ?? And if i havent heard nothing by tuesday 22/12/20 to call them back . Dont know if there’s any point in this as you cant even give me information anyway ... how villa can not provide this information is shocking i know the xmas sweater was in stock when ordering and paying for it as my email confirms this ... but if you was to try now you wouldnt be able to find them on the shop site or even order and pay for stuff they they havent got .... i travelled 69 miles to go the villa shop to buy my sons xmas jumper as i was expecting adults xmas stuff to be in the villa shop aswell but it was just the kids and very few numbers of them jumpers hanging on the rail anyway !!! Let alone this year ive spent not far from £400 in the villa shop this year since the launch of our home and away tops and kids tops aswell ... so id expect there delivery service to be on point this time of the year as its not as if they cant afford a decent courier company as the price tags on there stuff are still getting higher through the year and its kappa for crying out loud !!! Ive not even recieved soo much as a email or call to explain this much longer delivery of a sweatshirt...and its absaloutely disgusting that when you do ring they dont know any information to provide you with ... yet they should know everything thats happening ...just seems they cba with any customers regardless wether your a villa supporter or just someone buyimg for someone else ... its all about taking everyones money and providing a service that doesnt come in to affect untill next year when everythink goes quite.. and no doubt villa colleagues will do there job and reply to everyones review as they havent for 12years !!!! So anybody thinking of ordering from villa store i just wouldnt ...save yourself the stress and trying to trackdown your own item with them ... even tho they should be telling you of any delays etc.... anyway #UTV hopefully top 6 finish this year 🤞

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. I ordered a shirt and a hat on 28th Nov and it still has not even shipped despite the predicted delivery date on my confirmation email stating 3rd Dec. I tried to use the Live Chat function on the website on numerous occasions but was told that all operative were busy. I then eventually found a number to call someone who was very disinterested and unhelpful. She told me that one of my items was out of stock and that I would have to wait indefinitely until it came back into stock. Why not state on the website when I purchased the item it was out of stock? She told me they could not send both items separately (I got the impression that AVFC just didn't want to pay for postage twice) and the only way to receive anything in time for christmas was to cancel half my order. She couldn't tell me when my order would arrive or arrange an email to let me know when my item had come back into stock. So I'm now in exactly the same position as I was three weeks ago when I first completed an order. No help whatsoever.

What a terrible online shop to deal with. I ordered a pair of socks, the order was confirmed & the money left my account, the date of delivery went by so after another week l contacted them on their chat line & asked them where my order was only to be told that the socks where no longer in stock, why did they take my money & when were they going to tell me they were out of stock. The chat line didn't have an answer for this & said they would refund my money so it will be interesting to see how long a refund takes.

I ordered some shin pads from the website - no size, age etc specified on the product page, so assumed it fits all.

What comes is a children's shin pads.

No where the website says they're children's at all. I spoke to Paul on the online chat who was not willing to help, rude and quite frankly, didn't seem to care.

I was told that 'cover all bases' means children's. In what WORLD does this mean children's? Can someone enlighten me?

I now have to PAY for return delivery (yes, they don't pay for their own mistakes). Unbelievable.

Considering the shop is an income stream since fans can't pay for the matches, you'd think they'd treat customers with a little more respect.

AVOID.

I was supplied a female shirt instead of the male one that was ordered. When I sent it back they refused a refund as I couldn't supply the tracking number. I'd lost it as it had taken them weeks to process the refund. They have a captive audience and realise they can treat you poorly and you'll come back anyway. Really disappointing. UTV!

Sent me a very poor quality top for £77 with a big bubble on the bag if the number 10 and would not replace it. Save your money and don’t buy from them. Aldi charged me £7 postage when it was meant to be free delivery. Disingenuous company who don’t care about fans.

Rewards card NOT refunded

Still have not been refunded the £35 what was left on my rewards card. Sent about 5 emails now only to receive pathetic excuses, I will not be spending another penny on the club until I'm refunded. Absolute discrace been a support my whole life.

Not bad at all

I used to love the interface and general layout of the site and shop, as well as the variety of products (i expected worse), which is why i'm giving it 4 stars. Now i haven't purchased something myself -yet-, but i had good old friends buy me a gift from the online shop and the order went smoothly for them, although they messed up the size! Not the shop's fault.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired

I ordered the Aston Villa 1988 shirt (Lroduct #: 11902806) on the 3rd August, the order required a delivery fee to be paid. No issue with that, a delivery fee is transparent.

However, there were no options to choose the delivery company. When ordering via other brands they offer the usual choice of Royal Mail, Click and Collect etc. The choice usually comes with quick and slow delivery times. AVFC shop doesn't.

4th August I got the usual email to say the item has been despatched and will be delivered soon. The item didn't arrive until 11th August. ASOS, Adidas, Amazon etc. have never failed me and they don't take a specific delivery fee. Heck I even ordered stuff from Adidas and that arrived before the AVFC order. The delay was down to an issue between AVFC and Hermes though I never really understood what had happened and why I was waiting for so long.

I chased up with customer service and after exchanging 5 emails I was offered a refund on my delivery fee, which is the perfect solution. Its August 21st and I've yet to receive a refund or any correspondence. Not impressed with the whole experience and won't be ordering again.
