Firstly the product was good,& was easy to order & was swiftly dispatched. Overall just as you want.

Quick delivery. Excellent customer service.

Attempted to order from the villa website twice over the last 4 months now. Both occasions I've ended up cancelling as it didn't arrive and no indication could be given by customer support as to when it would turn up.

Getting a refund is a nightmare too - they'll do it but it takes ages, and they got it wrong.

Why Villa still use Fanatics to fulfil web orders is beyond me. Only need to look at the Trust Pilot reviews. Sort it out Villa!

I recently became a member at Aston Villa and have wanted to buy items from the online store. I was offered a 10% discount on my first item only to have it refused when I bought something, and it has subsequently disappeared. More recently another discount offered to me has been refused when I tried to use it.
The store website is short on information. The postal charge and additional handling charge is only apparent at checkout, and it would seem to be excessive too, compared to other similar sites.
I recently tried to purchase an item but changed my mind. I cannot see how to remove that item from my basket, so now the store ask me to complete my order.
Communication with them is of course near impossible.
Having read other reviews here I can see that my problems are minor compared to others, but I plainly cannot use the site again. It is a shame as I do not live in Birmingham and I have no real other access to Aston Villa merchandise.
Surely the club should be doing something about this...??

Absolutely appalling, Villa goalie kit ordered in August didn't arrive, then informed it was delayed then informed 2 months 2 weeks later that the order was cancelled on the goalie top , they sent adult socks for a 9 year old which were advertised in the kids section then still wanted to know if I wanted the shorts ? Didn't want them but still sent them out , called 5 times and they didn't really listen to what we said !! We asked for a full refund ....didn't happen then they sent £10 off the order as a good will gesture . When the top was cancelled they took the £10 gratuitous payment off the total they paid back . ASTON VILLA you should be ashamed that you treat young fans this way disgraceful Club

Paid £100 for a shirt for my son's birthday, allowing a month turnaround time as was disappointed on a previous occasion, still no sign of it. Chatted to CS who promised expediated shipping.. then sent an email saying they couldn't do expediated shipping. Was then offered 25% off another order and £10 off this one. Surprise surprise no refund and no chance of me spending another penny with them when they still have £100 of my money and I have nothing. Absolutely appalling CS.

The order was delayed by several months. I received a notification that it had been delivered but it had not. It was by Evri, of course! The customer service is shocking. So now I'm facing a situation where I'm out of pocket and I've done nothing wrong.

The problem is that the items are not cheap! But the quality of the items and the customer service is shocking and does not reflect the price point. Obviously I'll never be using this store again.

Order a kit on 22/08/23, for grandson’s birthday, email on 18/09/23 saying it was delivered, This order has not been delivered. Have contacted delivery company, you guessed it EVRI (at least they answered) who have now said I have to contact the shipper. Impossible to find contact email address, I’m £75 out of pocket with no goods, buyer by where!!!!!! Absolutely disgusted which customer care, if anyone looking to buy anything for Christmas be careful

Ordered next day on the 1st September, I left until 14th to chase as DPD hadn't received, firstly Jez said it was lost in transit, which wasn't true, then said I could have a refund, then changed as company policy is 14 days before a parcel is classed as lost, a policy that is not communicated at purchase.
Jez extremely unhelpful and distance selling rules give me the right of cancel.
Horrific service

Ordered the new kit for my son's birthday and was given a delivery date of 11th Sept. However, the order status is still processing. I contacted customer services who confirmed that my order will not arrive in time for my son birthday but could not give me any sort of time frame. I was told I'd get my delivery charges refunded - this hasn't happened. When I enquired about cancelling the order I was told that this wouldn't be possible because I'd requested personalised name and numer which may have already been printed. I asked why it had not been shipped if it was printed and was told it may or may not have been printed.

So here I am £126 out of pocket and my son is about to wake up on his birthday without the one thing he asked for.

Season tickets are a waste of money!!!!
Absolutely no benifit in having a Villa season ticket.
I've held one for years and have Never I mean NEVER been able to get a away ticket.
Aston Villa put it's prices up over 30% this year sort your broken system out.
Oh wait you won't cos your view is you have a long list of people who will have my ticket. That's what you keep saying in every press release.

I tried to exchange a football shirt at the official store at Villa Park to change for a larger size for my son - I was told 'we cannot exchange items purchased via the official website'. I have to pay £5.90 to return the shirt for a refund and buy the correct size. What a joke!

Really poor, advertise the new away shirt with express 1 day delivery and then say it won't be delivered for 2 weeks.....having paid nearly 7 quid for the delivery. Its clear mis- selling as they obviously know the stock is not ready for immediate despatch. I intend to inform trading standards.

Worst store ever

Bought a shirt and it still hasn’t arrived , assuming it won’t but now this present 🎁 is beyond the timeline and won’t reach the person ,As I am still waiting , honestly livid cannot do it justice .

I bought an item on the website and they said it would be delivered within 30 days. The due date expired on the 9th of may and until now (120 days after) I still haven't received my order!!!!!! I'm contacting the support team, but no one answers my emails. Can anyone help me????

Never use the store without a season ticket discount.
Today I received a book pen and keyring which I don't want or need.
I would happily swap it for a replica home shirt or a discounted one.
And until I get my season ticket discount back I don't spend a single penny in the store or ground on a matchday or any day.
ONE SINGLE TRANSACTION A YEAR FOR MY SEAT FOR 19 GAMES .

Never had an issue when ordering from the clubs store. My only snag is they don’t offer the women’s super league badge for the women team player shirts? Why? Its the same team, just different leagues, if you’re gonna offer the premier league patch should offer the WSL badge on shirts too for us Villa Womens team fans

All my previous online orders were dealt with by the club shop and arrived 3 to 4 days so when the new kit was available I purchased 2 tops thinking they would be here in time for season opener, little did I know all online orders are now processed by the usless company Fanatics. Had I known I would have not ordered at all, but my order was already in progress, had the email thanking me for the order so I kept checking for any progress, says still processing even after 8 days so basically they have stole my £175 which by the way is my pension. Tried to phone but as usual no one will answer at Villa park and this is who I placed the order with not Fanatics, obviously there is no where else to contact them about this order so I am not pleased at all with the club shop, in the future I will Never Ever order from the club again!

I ordered three1st team shirts worth over £215 and after having an email to say they have been shipped I'm still waiting for the items after 7 days,this is completely inadequate for a club of this size so be very mindful if you're going to purchase an item for a special date because you will have to allow at least three weeks for delivery.

Pathetic customer service, i ordered a top (then paypal app changed delivery address), i noticed immediately and contacted the shop straight away. I have had 1 email reply which was totally pathetic in itself, (asking me to explain the problem - which i had already done).
Not 1 email since and the supposed delivery date has also passed, the tracking page on the website hasn't changed since the order on the 29th July.

I have had to resort to a paypal claim action!
