Regarding the shipping status issue, I would like to explain the shipping process for BOOX online stores: when a customer receives the shipping label, it means that the package has left our warehouse and is currently being transported to the delivery sorting center. The delivery sorting center will update the further logistics status only after receiving the package. So, this information isn’t misleading at all.
Regarding the issue of free gift of Tappy, Tappy was launched in May 2026 and demand has consistently outpaced our supply. It was sold out ahead of schedule. This is a production ramp, not a "bait and switch".

I ordered a BOOX 10.3 LUMI
I ordered a BOOX 10.3 LUMI. Because of their shipping method of changing multiple carriers it took many days to arrive and the package was not delivered at my home address but at a locker! A 450 euro product needs to be signed for upon delivery in order to protect both buyer and seller. Upon opening the locker was empty! I contacted the carriers involved and they acknowledged the problem. However when i submited my refund request to BOOX they started all kinds of procedures and unclear instructions. They even wanted access to my phone camera to take my selfie!
I will exersice all my rights as a consumer which are protected by European law.

Easy website navigation. Option to compare devices is so helpful. Having different devices to meet specific needs is wonderful. Being able to sell used items in the website is good because it's trust worthy verses 3rd parties

The Boox Go 7 is a fantastic…
The Boox Go 7 is a fantastic experience. Its biggest strength is file compatibility and customization — it handles pretty much any format you throw at it, and uploading content is incredibly easy: just scan the QR code with the “Send to BOOX” feature and your files transfer instantly, no cables or apps needed. On top of that, the battery lasts a long time, so you’re not constantly recharging. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a flexible, no-hassle reading experience.

Great reading and word processing, stylus needs improvement
The size of the device is excellent, and I love that it is backlit and runs on Android. I also like that the backlighting has an adjustable warmth setting that can be used to turn the screen redder, which really makes it easier on the eyes. I’ve been using the device for reading and, after downloading Google Docs and attaching a third party keyboard, for word processing and have been satisfied. I’ve removed a star because the stylus experience isn’t great. I bought the stylus but haven’t been using it because of the lag when writing. My ideal device would be the size of the Box Go 7 Color Gen 2 but have a stylus experience like the Boox Note Air5 C: a higher quality writing experience, and a stylus that attaches to the device magnetically

Palma 2 broke. promised to fix and then refused.
Palma 2 broke and I emailed boox help. They made me jump through weeks of procedures and unclear instructions to finally assure me that my unit was under warranty and I could return it for a repair. Then, days later, they said, actually no, it's NOT under warranty, "sorry." Sorry? Your product lasted only 15 months and you don't care to stand by your commitments?

They have terrible after-sales support
They have terrible after-sales support: promised updates don’t arrive, and long-standing bugs don’t get fixed.
Putting Android on an e-reader sounds flexible, but in practice, it’s been a mess. On my older Onyx device, basic web browsing is essentially broken because of an expired root certificate, and there’s no supported way to update it. As a result, I can’t reliably open websites, and Google services (including signing into a Google account and using the Play Store) also don’t work.
Overall, the hardware concept is undermined by weak software maintenance.
