I love using ShopSmarter. I am sometimes annoyed that I have to use a computer instead of my phone, but other than that, I find it to be a great benefit.

This is the only cashback company that periodically makes you submit receipts for your purchases.

Never subscribed to this service but somehow they collect credit card info and signed for me
Never subscribed to this service and never knew about them before that, but somehow they got my credit card details and started billing for the subscription. So the bank blocked the transaction and reissued the card, but it didn't help; they somehow billed it to the new card again, and again the bank blocked the card - nightmare. So, I was forced to call them and try to resolve it. Given that the only motivated party in this situation is ShopSmarter, I guess the fraudsters are working for them, collecting credit card leaks, then subscribing to a paid plan. Shame.

I have been satisfied until last month (July)
Had difficulty logging on, was told to change my password, which I did and still could not log on. Tried again, changed password again, still no success. Reached out to customer service, response said it will take 24 hrs, still no contact.

Love getting money back
Love getting money back every month. Easy to use. I constantly shop Walmart, Lowe’s, Ace and Kohl’s. I fill my cart on the apps over 2-5 days. Then when I I’m ready to check out, I switch to ShopSmarter. Even on a low month, this pays for itself and a lot of months I’m getting $50-80 back.

I have gotten several thousand dollars…
I have gotten several thousand dollars back in the last few years buying from Lowe's, home Depot and especially Walmart. Definitely worth 16 bucks a month if you spend much money at these places.
