I use shopsmarter every time I make a purchase. I found it very easy to use and it saves me money. I will often check a few stores to find a product I want and if participates with shopsmarter, I will purchase from that company to save myself money. Easy!

cashback is not 100% guaranteed
I'm upset with Shopsmarter because they list the stores that offer cashback, but when we make a purchase and don't receive the amount, we're just informed that the cashback criteria are the store's, meaning I'm never sure if I'll receive the cashback or not even though the store is listed on the website.

I've consistently had problems with…
I've consistently had problems with shop smarter customer associates being unhelpful when my card was mysteriously declined but wasn't declined for several other subscriptions I had the same one linked to - they've also had an extreme problem with their attitude and approach to addressing situations that should not have arisen in the first place.

Needs increased cashback limit to coincide with higher costs
I reached my thousand dollar cashback limit a few months ago, so now I’m just paying my $16 monthly subscription cost with no benefit until my new subscription year rolls back around. I wish they would increase the annual cashback limit to be more realistic with today’s increased cost of living. They increased their subscription cost significantly, but not the benefit of increased cashback limits.

I received nothing from this company
I am absolutely certain I had no intention of signing up for this service and yet there it was, being taken from my account month after month. I accept responsibility for not checking my subscriptions sooner. That's on me. But a more honest company would have made an effort to ensure I was using a service they were collecting money for.
